Did anyone else notice that if you look at your badges and keep rubbing over them you can polish them? After a while they get very grimy and you can make them sparkle again

My friend had to show me that - the entire time I was always wondering what that strange little "glass rubbing" sound was, when I was playing music on them. xD It's a charming little feature of D/P/P, though. I love how they put so much more attention to detail.

Yeah, I actually just found this out last week. After I thought they were at their shiniest, I kept rubbing them for lulz and they got even brighter O.O

The pitch of the note is flatter the dirtier the badge is. Also I've noticed it takes more rubbing to polish it the shinier it gets.

The shiniest I've seen was 4 sparkles and the dirtiest was black xD

Yep if you tap all 8 in a row they play a scale! (if their all the same level of cleanliness)
Its a very cute addition to the game and I seldom use it, but on occasion I will be really bored and will shine up my badges and play a nice little tune~ -------------------- |

I was looking on the computer when I first got my Pearl. It said "Spit Shine" and said how to polish them. I accually spit on my DS ^^; Then I was like "Oh Crap" And quickly wiped it off.

I lost my game once and when I got it back they were completely black. I was slightly afraid that I would never get them clean again.

On Pearl, I finally found out about it after my brother showed me. This is like over 150 hours in, so they where amazingly dirty. Had to scrub forever to get them clean. They looked nice afterwards though. I decided to clean them regualarly after that to keep them nice, but soon fogot about it and they went back to becoming very dirty. Can't be bothered to clean them off again, so I just leave them now.

I didn't even notice at first. I have to admit now that I really like being able to shine then whenever I'm bored.

I hardly ever remember to shine my badges. When I do, I like poking them to try and make music out of the different 'ding' noises~ :3
I always seem to play Zelda's Lullaby on them, it's weird.. -------------------- |
