Talk about whatever you want, whether it's GPX related or something going on in your personal life, just be sure to read the rules first before posting. There's always someone on the forums to read and respond to your posts, so chat away and maybe you'll meet some great people!

Rules

• Regular forum rules still apply here. Basically don't double post. Don't ask for clicks every time you fill your party. Unless it gets out of hand*, I'm okay with you linking to an exploration Pokemon who needs a specific berry.
  
  *out of hand meaning I don't want to see Pokémon being linked just for leveling or if they need drinks for happiness. These kinds of interactions can be handled just fine by being in your parties and signatures.
  
  
• Do not post your shinies here, there's a http://forums.gtsplus.net/index.php?showtopic=5491 for that. Discussing them is OK though! Just make sure you add content to your post.
  
  
• Make sure your post contains worthwhile content. If you're posting an exploration Pokémon to be fed berries then be sure to add other content to your post. Same with discussing shinies. Find people to reply to or start a discussion yourself! Your post must, with the shiny portion and berry feeding hypothetically removed*, not read as if you're talking to yourself. To clarify, your post should not be an out-loud thought to yourself, and should contain more general discussion than just information on your current shiny luck.
  
  *if you were to read your post, skipping over any mention of shinies, the post should still sound like a good post.
  
  If any posts are found breaking this rule then they will be instantly deleted and handed a 10% warn.
  
  
• Do not post your GPX+ gear grinders in this thread either. There's also a http://forums.gtsplus.net/index.php?showtopic=49472 for that. This is mostly for raging at staff or site events that you don't like.

Monthly Raffle

Nominations are now gone, and I'm using post count to determine how many entries you have into the raffle. The first 19 posts you have will count as one entry, and every ten after that will count as an extra. Think of it as the first number of your post count is how many entries you have. To see what your post count is, click on the number of replies any certain thread has. Nothing else on the site will influence the amount of entries you receive, so if you'd like a chance to win, then post here frequently!

The raffle is what chooses who gets to choose what's in next month's egg distribution. There are no other site advantages other than that, and even then the whole site gets a chance at that Pokémon that you chose!

How to get an egg from this event

• You must keep at least one slot open in your party.
• You MUST have logged in sometime on GPX+ in the last two weeks.
• You can not be in the restricted group.

IMPORTANT EVENT NOTES

1. No, you do NOT have to be online at the time I am sending out eggs.
2. These eggs do NOT show up in the Lab for the event. They are sent out randomly.
3. There is ONE set shiny for each Pokémon, but every other egg has a regular chance of being shiny.
4. If you obtain ONE of the eggs from this event, you will NOT be able to obtain another one from this same event. This means if you get an egg on day 1 of this event, you can't get an event egg from any other day during this event. By the way, abandoning an event egg does nothing. So if you get one you might as well keep it and be happy.
5. If we find any accounts being made just to get eggs from the event then they will be immediately banned along with your main.
6. If you were a winner of the raffle, your chosen Pokémon will be spawned into your party on the day of the event. It won't be forced shiny, but there's always a small chance just like any other egg! This will not count as an event egg and you can still receive one from the event.
7. There is no guarantee that you'll receive an egg. There have been about 3k users online daily and there are only 1,750 eggs going out, so that at least gives you a little more than a 50% chance at getting something.
8. Eggs chosen will not be available to pick from again for 3 months. If x egg was in the January egg distribution, then it can not be chosen again until April.
9. The event runs at 4 p.m. server time.

Event dates and what's being handed out

• January 2nd: This Pokémon dwells in a cold mountainous region ~ Alpine Meowth ~ 350 eggs
• January 3rd: Xerneas - Winner: Jade - 350 eggs
• January 4th: Winter has come! Do you feel it? ~ Snowy Girafarig ~ 350 eggs
• January 5th: Latias - Winner: Luneon - 350 eggs
• January 6th: Cobalion - Winner: CobaltComm - 350 eggs
• January 7th: He was made of snow, but the Pokémon know, how he came to life one day ~ It is a mystery ~ 350 eggs

I'm gonna try to be healthier and find a new hobby that I can actually do. I've wanted to do archery for a while, but getting to an archery range is another story... so I'll look into that, and try to find something else if it isn't feasible. Hope everyone accomplishes their resolutions!

Welcome 2016! Hopefully, it'll be a joyful new year ahead. As a customary saying - Please take care of me!

So,for the new year's exploration I'll be trying out Beneath the Frozen Forest and maybe Guardian or Protecting the Fragile. I needed a Kyurem soon (due to the newly gained Dark and Light Stone )

Also for monthly distribution, I may go for Xerneas or maybe the final pokemon to be announced. First mystery looks like Articuno. The second? Maybe, Winter Vulpix?

Well, I hope it's a good one. I haven't been happy with where I am in life; so, I'm really hoping to see some changes/improvements/nice opportunities. I'd like to feel like I'm moving forward this year. I hope a good New Year for others! (:



I'm excited for the Exchange. This will be the first one that I've been around/active for. Unfortunately, I'm not too happy with my entry. I was hoping it would hatch with better IVs for whoever gets it. ;.;

Happy New Year Everybody! While it is still 2 hours away for me, I figured I should jump on and say it now as I hope to be asleep (or immediately thereafter) once it begins. Might have to pick my eldest up from her friends house though so... we'll see. Hopefully someone there can give her a ride back home. We'll have to wait and see.

Meanwhile... Lucario got 2nd place so... that was a nice surprise. I was thinking it'd take 3rd so... 2nd was sweet.

It's not quite New Year's yet where I am, but Happy New Year everyone! I didn't have time to mega-evolve my Metagross, but I was still able to get rank 1 for the Poke Hunt and got me a second Iron Shard.

For some reason I thought the first one was Kyurem, but Articuno also looks as if it would fit.

One of my goals is to become very active on GPXplus again. I missed the site greatly when I was taking a break and I'm glad to be back and catching up on things I have missed.

On a side note I can hear fireworks going off outside as well.

Kyurem also fits nicely but if I remember correctly, in some month when Articuno was distributed, it had nearly the same text as this month's. But again, if "I remember correctly"...

Also, what's with this "Happy New Yeah" thing? I don't get a head or a tail about it.

I second the Alpine Meowth. If you look at the description on AM, it mentions mountains. No clue as to the second mystery, however, since there aren't any direwolf Legendary or Novelty pokemon to my knowledge.

And I also got Rank 1 with my Metagross. It gave me my first Iron Shard.

Happy New Year! I'm glad I returned to GPX+ after all these years. The reasons I quit in the first place have been pretty much alleviated, and I love being as active on the site as I am now.

That makes sense.

85 people are celebrating their birthday today. However, I've seen people not wanting to disclose theirbirthdays and hence, update it as 1st Jan or 1st April. XD Also, a good number of them are 100+ aged "kids". I believe there isn't any actual centurion here, whom I've annoyed (if I have, sorry).

Here's a little discussion: What to do you wish to get in the exchange?

For me I wish for a Sh. Ditto (:P) but I doubt anyone would even put it in. Other than that maybe a Sh. Magikarp or Pichu or a Plusle which I'm already shiny hunting, lol.

My parents had a few friends over to the house for New Years, so I was their DD for the evening. I dropped them off to the bar and picked them up an hour later, apparently it wasn't a busy spot. I brought their friends home around 2 am, and now I can't sleep.

Decided to spend my sleepless night with the Guardians exploration and try to speed through it. The only task I had struggles with was the 550 proper berry interactions because I didn't read the task and thought it was 550 interactions . I found a Lunatone and Solrock really quickly too, and just finished leveling both.

This poor Mesprit got into some trouble and needs a Cheri Berry to feel better:

I'd like a shiny that I don't have from the exchange. That's happened once before, so it'd be nice for it to happen again.

The capon (rooster) that we cooked for New Year's was AMAZING. So juicy, so flavorful, so tender... and the skin was amazingly crispy. I swear, that bird is worth the price. If we ever roast a chicken again, it'd be one of those.

I don't know what Pokemon to go for this month in the explorations and distribution. I have all the dex entries, but I need all the Kami Trio, Kyurem, Keldeo and Xerneas formes for my living dex (why did I release them all? ). I threw in an exploration legendary for the exchange so hopefully I'll get one of the legends I just mentioned in return. That'd make my decision easier for me!

I am right now going for Kyurem. I think that one is everyones must-do exploration.
Next up will be Mansion of Gods. I still need loads of legendaries for my dex. And maybe a shiny or two..

Anyone notices this huge multiplier today? It's insane how good it is.
Although, it doesn't help feeding exploration pokemons at all :/

I managed to slot into number 9 from my activity score so, that was neat. I also got a rank 1 with my metagross, so my first iron shard too!

What I'm hoping for from the exchange, hmmm.... I don't know to be honest. I mean I have some aspirations (and if I started listing them I'd probably name just about everything haha) but I mean as long as it's a shiny I don't have or is one I don't have the evolution of, I'll be happy. I'm mostly excited to see if the person who receives mine is happy!

@Jade: Thanks for reminding me to check my stats! I was #170 with an activity score of 19,797 (my highest was 86,282 in May of 2012) As of now I am rank 282 (may change in a few minutes since its xx:45am for me) I too hope I get a shiny for a shiny, preferably one I don't have lol

Happy New Year, everyone! Let's make the year 2016 a wonderful one. ^^
I had a nice evening yesterday - we played games and then watched tv before the countdown.
There were people a couple of streets away that were setting off some amazing fireworks, it was really worth watching!
With hardly anything to see last year, this was great!

Seems like we'll be eating (delicious) leftovers today.
Eating healthy starts first thing next Monday, haha~

Ended up posting that Mesprit and went to bed around 4 a.m., I just woke up because dad was banging around the kitchen getting ready for work. I figured Mesprit would be done with the Berry Feeding task when I woke up, guess it isn't too busy here today. It still needs 46 Cheri Berries . I don't think I'll be beating my record for this exploration anytime soon.

Speaking of Activity Scores, yesterday I had 68,057 (#43), so much better than I thought I would be. Getting a bit anxious about the Exchange though, can't wait to see if I get something new. As long as I don't get my shiny Shaymin back XD.

Yep, blink while driving through the Netherlands and you'll have missed it. ;D
It's funny how 'a short drive' is so different when in a small country like the Netherlands compared to the USA, for example.
I've heard about distances considered a short drive away in the USA that will easily take you to the other side of the Netherlands. xD

I'm really curious to see what everyone will get in the Exchange.
Fingers crossed for something nice, but I suppose I'll be happy with anything. It's a fun event!

I don't know a lot of Louisianians on here, at least any who are active in this thread. I don't use the MW that much unless I were to travel to somewhere with free wi-fi or something. There are obviously quite a lot of active people in the U.S. though. I am visiting family again today for New Year's.

Speaking of countries, I've barely seen any other Australians hanging in the Community Threads, even though there are a fair few of us floating around on GPX :P But that's one thing I like about these Community Threads, talking to other GPX users from all over the world

I got another little bird to look after a couple of days ago, and she seems to have become quite attached to me. I called her Poffin and she's a baby/fledgling silvereye, so she's only about an inch and a half in length. So tiny She pretty much rode around on my finger or shoulder all day and would not go back into her cage. I'm scared I'm gonna lose her in the house somewhere if she decided to fly off, being so tiny :P

Speaking of the Netherlands, I landed there when I flew to Japan, which was when this happened: Distance Covered: 32,469 km (#430)

I didn't get a lot of activity score in yesterday, due to being away for New Year's. I still have hopes of getting a new shiny novelty anyway, which might happen anyway. Anyway, being home, this means that I have time to play in the Splatfest. I really don't know when I will be able to make use of pass plus to up my pass orbs record.

Oh my god, I just hatched a shiny Aron in ONE egg, finally! I've been trying to get a shiny in one egg for the achievement for ages, my shine recorder is FULL of failed attempts from the past few days. I'm sooooo happy right now, 2016 has started off excellent. Good Luck achievement get!

I know there are plenty of Canadians here, though I've never seen anyone say they live in my province . I live in Labrador in what I lovingly call Bumfuck Nowhere . I can fly to Europe and have spending money than a plane ticket would cost me to fly to anywhere in my province.

I ended up with an Activity Score that put me at 182. Not that I'm stressed about being so "low". The only Legendary I DON'T have is Normal Arceus, and as that one isn't an option, it doesn't truly matter which one I get.

My mouse decided to go wonky last night. I was clicking in the Berry Feeder attempting to finish the Legendary Beasts exploration and my left-click button suddenly decided to not allow me to work. Batteries are not dead, since I can right-click and the pointer travels the screen. It just takes a bit of effort to left-click now. I can get it to work most of the time by holding down the left-click button, but that has it's own problems. Sometimes the thing I'm attempting to click switches and it hits the thing right behind it. {In one of my games, there is an option to cook things, and when I started to cook something new earlier, it asked me if I wanted to cancel that recipe. Luckily, it doesn't automatically cancel, so I was able to tell it no.} ANYWAY! Does anyone know what I did and/or how to fix it?

She's a rescue My sister is a bird carer and I help out when she gets too many, so I took this little one off her hands. Apparently little Poffin fell out of her nest, and the tree was way too tall to get her back up there, so she was given to us to look after. She was uninjured, so all I have to do is fatten her up a bit, wean her off baby food, make sure she can fly properly, and release her back into the wild! There is a heap of her species of bird living in our backyard, so hopefully once she notices them she'll want to go and play with them instead of me :P

Not really relevant to the Ireland conversation, but my manager is from there! Uh, Cork, I think she said? I can't remember exactly, she went home to visit in October after not being there for two years, I think. She was born in America but moved back when she was young (5?) and then moved back here when she was 20 or something. She said she spent a year in Germany, too... I asked her why the hell she'd come here and not just move around Europe, lol. Though her accent is adorable, I love it. (I love all accents though, even ones my friends from the South have). I don't really have one myself (though I guess I probably would to some Europeans/southerners/etc.), but not like... a Brooklyn one or Boston one or anything that is sort of more "stereotypical". (Actually, even my Pennsylvania relatives have a little bit of an accent, too).

Wondering if I'll get a new shiny from the raffle or not. Technically speaking I have a... 9/13 chance of getting one I don't have, so the odds are decent. To be honest it doesn't really matter to me what I get, since it's... not really my shiny, if that makes sense. It's more for exchanging dex info than anything else. Though I guess you could say that if you get a shiny legendary that wasn't your summon, too... oh well.

Happy New Year! Both Christmas and New Years came and went pretty quickly, so I guess it's back to tedious school work and the likes after the 4th.

I was finally able to get a shiny Cubone yesterday after my shiny drought since August, so that was a nice surprise. Hopefully I'll have better luck this year but who knows :?

Also yay for the raffle! I've never done something like this so I guess I'll hope for something good.

My boss at my last place of work was from India. She actually quit the day they let me go - so they lost our entire department (all two of us) when they decided to get rid of me.

Relevant to accents:
I know that in media, the accent from Chicago and the accent from Colorado are fairly well considered 'non-accents' - gives you a lot of newscasters from those specific areas because relatively clear speech and plain inflections on everything.
I had a teacher from Chicago for one class in middle school, and he commented that we were the only group he'd ever had that didn't think of him as having an accent.
Everyone always thought I was a southerner or was from a small town or something, though. (I guess I talked slow for people here, and classmates in high school interpreted it as a southern drawl.)
I went to college in Kansas, and when people would ask in a class 'who's not from Kansas?' they would always tell me to put my hand down and quit lying because they know I'm from Kansas. I was born and raised in Denver, too, meaning I was from a bigger city than almost everyone I was ever around, but the automatic assumption was that I was a farm girl and could not possibly be anything else. (I think we had a couple of people from cities in Cali and Texas too, but I don't remember which ones to know whether those were larger or smaller urban areas, since they weren't consistently people in my classes.)

Oh thank heavens that I finished the berry feeding task, that took forever to finish. I'm on the mass clicking task now and had to borrow my parents computer because mine is being cranky. Their laptop is so much faster than mine when it comes to clicking. I may have to borrow their laptop more often. I'll definitely be looking into a new laptop this year, time to retire my old clunker.

Is anyone else experiencing the issue I'm having? I just hatched a party full of eggs (three Smoochum and a Darumaka), but they're stuck in my party. Whenever I try to move them, it tells me I have an invalid number of Pokemon in the exchange (1). It's fairly weird.

I guess when my Groudon hatches I won't get a shard from it. I hatched a shiny Aron today, and got the Good Luck achievement to boot, so I guess that counts as my shard for the day. If that's the case I might hold off on hatching my Groudon egg so I can get a shard from it(unless someone else hatched a shiny today and can answer my question for me). I am glad that I saved the url for my shiny Shaymin, hopefully you enjoy it!

I was going to start the Mansion of Gods exploration, then I realized it was the one with the two Patrat, so I think I'll hold off on that. The last time it took me nearly 24 hours to find one Patrat . Sometimes I don't like these tasks on some of the explorations XD.

Well seeing as turkey is out for the day, I'm getting homemade pizza instead, yum. I can't wait for supper, it'll be really good .

Yes and no. Yes, it's mostly where he got a personality (his name is Bart Lemming, by the way (and something else, but that's spoilers)). The name Douglas came from an old F-Zero X site that I don't think works any more. And the show isn't even about Captian Falcon, it's actually about a kid named Ryu, but Captain Falcon becomes more of a main character about half-way through the show.

Hey y'all! Just woke up to find the exchange happened, how exciting! I was so nervous to go to my own party it took me a bit xD But in the end, I got a shiny MissingNo! I don't know what form to keep him in, but aaah! That one I didn't think of as a possibility to obtain!

Out of pure curiosity, I also totally tested it out to see if putting it in your shine recorder would work or not, and it doesn't. That's a cool little feature, haha.

I keep hearing nothing but awesome things for the Sherlock Special today, but I have to miss it because I'm going to dinner with friends at 8 and it shows on my cable channel of PBS at 9. I won't be home until probably 10-11 and I already decided to go, so I can't skip it. I hope it'll repeat quickly

If my friend is having her kid's first bday tomorrow after my work hours (5pm) I will go to that and skip dinner tonight (that way I can still visit with my friend that invited me to dinner tonight at the bday party instead) I would prefer pizza over Mexican food anyway lol. So I hope that works out! (I didn't want to go anywhere on my day off anyway. I like to veg at home those days)

The DNA Splicers for Kyurem text for the dex has been around for probably most of this year iirc. I assume its an item they came up with, therefore isn't canon (but I don't know since I don't play the games or watch the anime)

Yup, they weren't present before. From the text, they seem like introducing a new item which will cause Mega de-evolution. I think it is a good addition, especially when we accidentally mega-evolve something during some or the other task.

The DNA Splicers were an item in White and Black 2. They allowed the transformation of Kyurem into White or Black Kyurem if you had Reshiram or Zekrom in your party,respectively. Since Kyurem can already turn into those with Dark/Light Stones here I'm assuming it's so we can separate them yeah.

Well 2016 is off to an awesome start, hatched a shiny Pichu a few minutes ago. It's nice to finish some of my shiny hunts, gives me a chance to hunt other things . Now if only I can finally finish my Ditto/Skrelp hunts.

I'm thinking about buying a new laptop tomorrow to replace the one I currently have. There's one that I'm interested in getting but I need to see if the price in store matches the one online. I'll be going to the mall tomorrow and checking it out. If the price is any different I'll have to wait a couple weeks until I get paid again.

But that's for Kyurem. Different story altogether than what The Brain mentioned. To my knowledge, once you Mega evolved someone, there was no way to return to the prior evolutions when viewing the Pokedex information.

And the DNA Splicers ARE canon, btw.

Because you have to hatch one egg before it becomes an option. And since each Arceus form is a DIFFERENT "species" and you can only ever get one egg of each Plate, it doesn't register? That's what I think, anyway.

I was going to go for Xerneas in the distribution, but that new last one has me intrigued...Seeing that the snowman Froakie/Chespin/Fennekin are forme changes, I don't think it'll be them. Maybe a new novelty?? So many mysteries, so many decisions! :P

My pokemon ability? It should be Heatproof. I don't even feel hot at 45 degrees (Celsius of course). However, I'd really like to have Immunity, I am such a sick person (literally).

A new third mystery? Well, I'd like it to be Snowy Girafarig, but to be honest, I know that since it was a last minute addition, it has to be a new novelty. I will go with Xerneas, and if I fail, I would move over to the third mystery (skipping Coba). There are way too many contenders to get an assured pokemon and I can't at all confirm that it is a new novelty. But at least, I'm sure of one fact that you guys are generous enough to breed a ton of them and somehow or the other I'd be getting it.

Regarding the DNA Splicers, they've been in Black and White Kyurem's dex infos' since we've been able to get Black and White Kyurem. Seems clear to me that they're what will be used to revert those two into regular Kyurem, they've just never been implemented. :/

I have got a month, so hopefully I have a lot of time. I have like 5-6 explorations in my mind to complete this month, well, in my pace, it will be a hard task indeed.

For a Pokemon ability I'd probably have Insomnia, I have issues sleeping so that would fit me perfectly xD.

I bought a new laptop today . The one I was originally going to get someone was after buying it and bringing it back. I don't trust any electronics that someone has after bringing back so I went with the other one I wanted instead . I'm going to be some glad when I can set it up and use it. It will definitely be better than the one I have right now at least.

Debating on whether I should start the Mansion of Gods or wait until later. The reason I'm wary of starting is the Patrat task, last time it took forever to get them. Anyone on that task, if so any luck with finding them?

I'm not super into shuffle so please pardon the ignorance, but is there something that is affected if you get all S ranks on pokes? Is there some sort of global ranking it helps out with or something similar? I usually just try and catch the poke, and if I don't I move on to the next unless I really want it. I'll probably go back eventually and try to get all of them but dunno when that'll be happening.

Also for the ability, mine would probably be Adaptability since I usually don't end up staying in the same place for too long and I just have to adapt and overcome.

I had an old laptop I got in 2007, and it lasted until about early 2013, where then it decided that within the first 10 minutes of running, it would blue screen. I then got my nice, fancy desktop as a birthday present c:

Anyways, I wasn't aware Alex and Thomas could breed Ditto eggs. Then I decided to look at their released Pokemon, which they have only released one - an event Diance. Did someone have to go in the account and manually release it or what?

I'm home and all caught up on sleep after a couple days with family. Tons of fun but absolutely exhausting, and I spent most of the morning thinking today was Monday.

Tomorrow we're planning on seeing the new Alvin and the Chipmunks movie, has anyone else seen it? Is it any good? We're hoping we can get a matinee so we can take the kiddo to her first movie. And yes, we ARE planning to leave if she gets loud, hopefully we won't have that problem.

Whenever I'm at Pelipper Island and using Salamence while running, I swear it looks like Salamence is just hopping to get around and I, for one, think that's cute. I've been doing missions, and one of them was to meet a certain Pokemon tricked me and it wound up to be a monster house (forgot how much I hated those things). It's so nice to be able to rescue myself now.

You know getting a New 3DS wouldn't be that bad of an idea since my Ganondorf amiibo just arrived and I literally can't do anything with it since I don't have the NFC reader. But I really need to have a computer and anyway it's like $25 for the NFC reader last time I checked vs. $200~ for a N3DS so
Actually my mom just said I could pick the NFC reader up if I wanted to when we go to buy my new laptop on Monday so I guess that settles that.

Diancie was a mistake for the very first egg event. Alex and Thomas, which is not a real account but controlled by admins was not err, how can I say it, removed from the potential winners, so it gets the diancie egg. A&T never gets egg ever, so the egg was released. I saw this very early and wait since its release to catch it in the shelter. ^^
Dittos eggs are released at a state of eggs, and don't appear in the released list like all the other eggs they made.

I finally saw the minions movie. Gosh this is so absurd. I like when there are some laughable things in but damn, it really has no sense, exactly like the minions are %)

I should probably see the Peanuts Movie. I really loved Charlie Brown when I was little ^^

I considered Peanuts but I personally never really liked it. It always seemed so sad to me, and not kid-friendly beyond the bright colors. I don't know what else is in theaters that she might like, and I'd take her to see one of the older movies at the dollar theater but it closed last year. I think we'll end up sticking with The Road Chip, because if nothing else I get nachos out of it.

Well I now dislike VS Seeker tasks, I've been trying for the past 4 hours to get task 4 done and I keep losing. I also somehow took my Pokemon out of the VS Seeker when it said the battle was complete and it didn't count . I was hoping to get to the Patrat task because I've seen them in the shelter, but by the time this darn task is done they'll be gone .

Guess I'll take my frustrations out with Monster Hunter. Destroying things should help I suppose.

Well I'm not usually off on Saturdays but I've been having amazing luck today.

First, I completed a shiny hunt that I started years ago, then went home and got my first Platinum trophy on Bayonetta 2 (With Jeanne, might I add ) so today is a good day.

Missed out on the event egg, but that's fine. Maybe my luck will continue for the rest of the week. As scholar Golding once said, "Anything could happen"

Heh, we don't even have a movie theater in town. For anyone to watch movies we'd have to go to the next big city over. It's infuriating, because regulars have been asking if I'd seen the new Star Wars and my only response is "I can't see it. Our city sucks".

I remember someone asked if I lost a lot of files. Short answer is, yes. Music, games, pictures... all of it. The BSOD came without any warning soo I couldn`t save anything. And as I said, I couldn't get it to start afterwards so...
I guess it doesn't matter too much. Again I think I was due for a new comp anyway. Sucks that I'll have to rebuild my playlist from the ground up and redownload all my mods for Minecraft but I'll live.

@Aragarthiel: I for one don't listen to others or movie critics bc there are plenty of movies that they deem terrible, but not everyone feels that way. I like to go by what the trailer shows most of the time. If I don't like the trailer, more often than not I don't like the movie, so maybe try making a decision with that? In the end, you kinda risk seeing a "terrible" movie by going to the theater, so my advice is just to do what you prefer. Or even ask your kid (if they are able to answer) what they would like to see instead. Let them make teh judgement if something is "bad" or not. Just my 2 cents on the matter. It's your decision in teh end

@SilverPT: Congrats! I'm #114, mostly bc I have a lot of egg and dex entries yet to get and not too many shinies yet (I'm #84 for Most Complete Egg Dexes)

Snowman Snorlax seems like a possible new novelty for the last distribution! I think I'll forget about Xerneas and try my luck with that instead.
I haven't done any of the special explorations for this month either. I've done the Ditto one, so I could get my Book Ditto. Now I'm working on Treasure Hunt of Mysteries. I decided I'll do the Kami Trio and Keldeo explorations once I'm done.

I don't know if I'm late to the party, but I've just noticed that the DNA splicers are listed in the dex entries for Mega Pokemon as a way to revert them back to their normal, non mega form... I've only ever noticed the DNA splicers in the Black/White Kyurem entries before.

Guess complaining worked, my Gardevoir ended up winning the next VS Seeker battle so that one is done. I found the two Patrat quite easily on mobile, which was surprising. Ironically, it isn't Patrat that is a road block, it is Snorlax . Thankfully I found a Munchlax in the Shelter instead, now he needs 33 or so more Happiness to be at 100%. I used up two Lemonade thanks to the Odd Incense so at least I won't have to wait too much longer.

I really dislike tasks that requires waiting and you cant speed it up. But without them there isnt much choises for a task either. Waiting to do my dotw exploration for the first time. 1shard to go. Might do TBD for first time today as well.
About pokedex. I wont ever complete as I dont have combs. And I cant beat elite4 and champion.

Nice. My overall ranking is currently sitting at 69. Complete Pokedex is 183. And my highest reanking is a 25 in Best Pokemon Owners. {Does that one count ell the PC ones? If so, that's slightly skewed and I should drop after I release some more.}

But I have three in the Top 100: the aforementioned Best Pokemon Trainer, Most Complete Eggdexes {#87}, and Best Breeders {#98}.

Thanks to the person who helped get my Munchlax at max happiness by giving it one of the happiness items. I just finished the Mansion of Gods and got my Tornadus egg. This means I now officially have all of the legends from explorations barring Arceus . I still need to get certain forms for the legends, but seeing as I lack the items right now they'll have to wait.

EDIT: Poked a credit into Trinket+ and maxed it out .

I got on Shuffle for the first time in a while earlier and got Shaymin first try, that wasn't even difficult. The Safari this time around is harder than usual though, all I have is a Boldore that I got lucky and had Super Catch Power for. And Talonflame... whoa. I'll have to try that again later.

While we're talking about ranks, I'm at 85 now. I used to be 45-ish before coin stats were dropped from whatever script calculates total ranks. xD (Which *was* the right thing to do, it was a bit unfair to have such an infrequent event in there. I can still see the stats in question in my stats tab.)
I have a lot of explorations to catch up on, but my parents' internet is sooo slow. And I won't have time once I go back to uni. Oh well...

1. Yes. I made a resolution to finish a fanfic I had kind of put on hold for nearly two years - a little multi-chapter One Piece story of mine.

2. Huuuurm.... I really like the 'plush' trinkets. I also, of course, love any of the trinkets that are either Eeveelutons themed or KH themed (omg did you guys see the checkered wristband just omg dshjsdgdhgfd). Honestly though there are a lot of other trinkets I liketoo but I'd name them forever so... next question!

3. Hummmmmm........................ What was it? It has been quuuuuite awhile since I've read something but I THINK it was The Host by Stephanie Meyer. My friend had my borrow it and begged me to read it and really, it was actually pretty good. I need to read more books though.

SO, we're having a long Multiplier week. I knew trinket + would fill up fast, didn't know it'll be this fast.

1. Yup, I made a small resolution to focus on anything thing I do. I really, sometimes fail to concentrate on things and try to do two things simultaneous and both turn out to be terrible. Let's see how far I can do it this year.

2. My favourite trinket type would be the shiny/differently coloured plushes.

3. My last book, was most probably Deception Point by Dan Brown. Books remind me I've got too many in my bookshelf to complete. Well, time to grab some and read.

1. In GPX term I promised myself to not quit. Just 1-7 days if I am on vacation. In real life, well just to survive n stuff xD

2. I don't mind too much about the trinkets. Fake "megastones" like "Newyearnite" seems cool. Some of the food(?) trinkets are nice. Plushies and other pokemon too.

3. I am not much of a reader. Last book I was reading is The Hunger Games: Mockingjay. Both book and film are very interesting. No regrets on reading that.

I don't find anything special in the safari. I mean, these kinds of pokemons are often seen. Unless, of course, someone grabbed them up quick. Only time, when I saw someone banned was when I saw a female shiny Pichu and a shiny something else.

Okay, I really want to know, because I've noticed myself A03 has become rather big and taken over FF.Net... what is the appeal there? I personally am not crazy about the site myself. I dislike it's search engine and it's tagging properties. But I've too considering switching over because there's just a larger influx of readers there. Or at the very least, updating at both.

It used to be when the passcounter filled up, it would result in aurora. Maybe that feature was turned back on? Also, just think, because its a SWSH month, we;re gonna have a lot of multipliers and plus fills xD

I FINALLY beat Mega Glalie on Pokemon Shuffle Mobile! I'm so happy! As for Picross I am unable to go to area 4 since I'm 6 Picrites short still. I've been able to gradually get them through unlocking medals and the training once per day. As of now I refuse to pay money for them, but I figure I'll have to buy them eventually


@Jade: So far I have had a better time at AO3 than FF.net. I actually get a sense of dread when I go to ff.net or I get e-mails from them bc of the crap I've dealt with there. I don't really know how to explain everything about it, but there's just a bit more stuff to AO3 than FF. I especially adore the kudos system! Its my favorite thing there. You can make your stories registered only for comments but so far I have not had any issues so I leave guests commenting open. The information to add to a story at the start can be a bit of a pain, but you get used to it (it gives you suggestions as you type, which is super helpful!) I just...idk how to explain the site fully since I've only been there since 2013 and have only really used it in late 2014-early 2015 and I still don't know all the aspects of it, but I've recommended it to my readers on FF plenty of times bc I like it so much. I'm sure someone could explain the site far better than me XD

As for what I write for, it used to just be Teen Titans (nsfw stuff mainly) but I'm currently preoccupied with the Legend of Zelda fandom. I'm possibly out of the TT fandom now, but that's still up in the air at this point. Right now I have a drabble collection for LoZ and a Hyrule Warriors-esque story (I include aspects of different games together into its own "game" so to speak) with a headcanon side backstory for Ghirahim

I didn't know about it. I was surprised to see Aurora + Pass Counter today because Aurora was something rarer than a shiny legendary. But again, to think we'll see Aurora in summer (not taking the antarctic aurora though, I mean, whose here from Antarctica?) was a bit unjustified, wasn't it?

Oh gosh, how could I forget that it is the SWSH month? We had so many events last month, that I totally forgot about it.

I dont even know at which months SWSH happens, but if one is this month, hands down, I am going for it. Probably won't even hatch a single shiny. But still I hope I can get a shiny with less than 50 eggs for achievement.

1. I don't usually bother. Though a couple years ago I managed to stop biting my nails and I kind of count that because it was thanks to the gloves I got the previous Christmas. Can't bite nails if they're covered~

2. Plushes or any eeveelution-related set. Purple things too.

3. I can't remember the last new thing I read, but the last book I finished was The Lord of the Flies. I'm currently rereading Stephen King's Cell.

I never attempted this (and I'm not going to in a few months at least) but I remember another funny freezing incident related to exploration task. In some exploration (which I don't remember), some Dragon type (again, don't remember) was frozen and needed Aspear. I was thinking, how weak was even that ice type attack which couldn't even knock out the dragon type?! Oh well, some task do have funny loopholes.

EDIT: Even spell check doesn't know Azurite and Wulfenite? Come on, those some really valuable crystals/minerals? And even if it doesn't know those two, what did the Malachites do so that it knows them? It's unfair!

1. Write more. I want to do my own fic when it comes to November to do the NaNo, but suddenly a new fanfic I want to do has come out of the woodwork.

2. Anything goes, but generally speaking I like ones legendary-centric.

3. The Book Thief. The only book save Harry Potter that has made me cry. I am currently reading a book my friend recently published, which is adequate but I have read better...

@Aragarthiel: I hadn't realised your user card - very nice use of Unown and totally understand what it means Hopefully there's a few more Whoovian-related trinkets you could use to fill in the blanks.

@Sladin5Ever: Thanks for the reminder of AO3 - admittedly I get more attention from ff.net, but the AO3 community is definitely a lot more intellectual than the likes of ff.net. I find it a lot harder to upload work there, but having fics up at multiple sources help

2. Paper cranes! I'm trying to collect 1000 of them, like that Japanese story Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes I also like all Eevee and purple related trinkets.

3. Gosh, I hardly read books. The last one I read would have been Dark Serpent by Kylie Chan...this is going back a few years. I read more manga these days. The last one I finished was probably Nisekoi volume 4.

I just noticed this in the Trinkets Stats Page.

Didn't Darth Krytie say in "Month of January" that the February batch submission will open in a week or two? But the above information shows that submission and selection is already done. Or was there another February batch trinket before? I'm quite confused about this.

We just get additional trinkets added to the seasonal sets, so since we have been at it for a number of years, we aren't getting any new seasonal sets.
