So this is a semi-new bug, it's happened quite a bit since the icons were added instead of words, however, normally a refresh would fix it, but now, it's not going away.

It's basically this:

Large screenshot (click to show)

There's empty ad-space at the side, that's shifting my entire layout over, and making everything wonky. Not only that, but the offline Pokéballs aren't loading.

I'm using Google Chrome.

Have you tried clearing your cookies and cache first?

I haven't yet, it's something I like to avoid since I hate losing all my logins and such, and I wanted to know if others were having the same problem before I tried it, but it does seem like it may be something on my end.

Well you can just clear your cache then. Doesnt have to be your cookies.

I would try and change your skins/settings and see if it does anything different too.

Clearing Cache didn't work unfortunately. ):

And I don't really know what to do with the settings, I tried displaying advertisements, the ad displayed fine but the layout was still wonky, then I disabled them again and there was no difference bar the lack of advert.

Hmmm. That's really weird.

Try closing Chrome out all together and bring it back up.

Just tried that, and it's still wonky. noes.gif I don't know of anything else to do right now other than a restart of my computer, or a reinstall of Chrome. Neither of which I want to try right now as it's late and I'd like to enjoy my last hour or so on the computer aha.

I suppose I can report back come morning if restarting the computer worked or not, however~

Disabled the three I had on, which were Avast, Ad block and the GPX Notifier, did them one at a time and all at once, and restarted Chrome, still no luck with the layout.

Edit: Weirdly enough, the icons all just centred, and my offline Pokéballs are showing again. There's still the huge gap where that ad should be, however, but I'm not sure if that could simply be the size of my screen? Or is that not meant to show at all for donors?

Edit Edit: I've just logged in on Firefox, and that gap's still there too. I'm thinking it's rather likely that it's to do with my screen resolution, as I've never noticed it while I'm at Jaysus's house, and he has a smaller screen. My screen res is 1440 x 900.

Third edit: Restarting the computer hasn't helped. sad.gif And it's now back to being wonky again.

Basically the same pic as Joltik's pic (click to show)

This same thing happens to me too, and it always seems to happen when I open up the browser after having not used it for awhile; as in sleeping, or leaving the computer in sleep mode.

It fixes itself after awhile -- which is why I usually ignore it, but since there was a report of this then might as well say something -- and I can close the browser and re-open it and it will be fine. It just triggers when I haven't been on it for a few hours. I haven't restarted my computer in weeks so maybe it could be a problem? Though Joltik has said that she has tried that and it didn't work for her, so I'm just going to assume that it won't work for me. =B I'm on the latest version of Chrome (21.0.1180.89).

Extensions:
Adblock
Chrome to Mobile
Facebook Notifications
GPX Notifier
myPlex
Website Login

Edit: I guess about 30 minutes later it fixed itself. After I adopted eggs from the shelter, I got redirected to my party and suddenly it was better. I'm not saying this is the fix, since I adopted eggs two times before this past one and it was still broken, but just pointing it out! I guess I'll give an update tomorrow on how it ends up fixing itself next time if I end up remembering.

Saturday, September 15th
I wake up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy

and of course it's messed up.
I forgot to mention that I have all the settings turn off

e: it fixed itself right away this time. i opened the browser, came here to report, refreshed by clicking on Main, and it was better.

Same for both Verity lily and I here. We've tried the above and uninstalled and reinstalled Chrome, no change. It's where ads go, isn't it? We have ads switched off, but it's where they'd be?

ETA: We can't seem to get it to go away at all, no suddenly disappearing here.
