Team Counterstrike

THE STORY SO FAR

Before it all happened, Talandra, a world consisting only of Pokémon, used to be a peaceful land with minimal tension. At one time, the nation of Nightjade, consisting of Pokémon deeply tied to nature, refused to be influenced by the technology and weaponry of the Urban Unity. Despite these tensions, they were at least able to coexist in indifference.

Recently, the Pokémon of the Nightjade were able to discover that evolution items could be applied to any Pokémon, and not just particular ones, through long term exposure. Because of these, any Pokémon could completely alter their types, such as Pikachus becoming fire types, Rock Pokémon were becoming Water Pokémon, and were now known as Advanced Evolutions. And then, the event happened. The Urban Unity became jealous of Nightjade’s new advantage over them, new arrays of Pokémon, new combinations, now available. However, it all lead up to one catastrophic event that changed everything.

The legendary Pokémon Shaymin, through a cataclysmic accident, unintentionally unleashed an infection that decimated the land, resulting in massive unnaturally beautiful flowers sprouting from the ground, letting loose an infection that turned all Pokémon that were exposed to it into Grass-types, causing leaves, vines, and brightly colored flowers to sprout from their bodies. Meanwhile, attempts were made to try and destroy the flowers, but nothing was working, and the infection only continued to spread further and further. The lands of the Urban Unity were the primary target of the infection, and as a result, the Urban Unity Pokémon believed Nightjade was responsible for it.

Juno, a winged white-furred Serachu, the flying type evolution of Pikachu, took it upon himself to lead the campaign in effort to try and prove to the Urban Unity that Nightjade was not responsible. After gathering a sizable amount of forces, he lead the attack on Center Lake City, and in the process, a heated battle between Nightjade and Urban Unity had been ignited. However, while both sides exhausted each other, a new threat had surfaced, attempting to take advantage of the situation.

The Dark Lily, a faction of zealous Pokémon infected by the Shaymin Flowers, sought to actually spread the infection further, their goal to cover the world with the infective flowers and infect every last Pokémon. While Nightjade and the Urban Unity were distracted fighting each other, the Dark Lily attacked both sides in Center Lake City, using their strange powers and causing the city to be overtaken by the growing Shaymin Flowers.

Realizing continuing the fight would only result in both sides dying, it was then Nightjade and the Urban Unity agreed to a truce and became allies to fight back against the Dark Lily, realizing they were the real enemies. However, not everyone agreed to this new alliance. Hisoto the Iron Fist, an Advanced Evolution of Machoke, was furious to learn that Juno sealed the pact between the Nightjade and the Urban Unity. He and his compatriots formed the splinter group called “Newjade” and broke away from the group in their refusal to ally with their former enemy, even going as far as to attack their former allies, and decimate Nightjade towns as revenge. Meanwhile, the winged Tyranitar Advanced Evolution known as Xy, another one of Nightjade’s former allies, spearheaded another faction in his defiance of the new alliance, unleashing his own amount of destruction.

Xy then allied with the Dark Lily to even further spite his old allies. In time, the entire continent of Victakan had fallen to the wrath of the Dark Lily, and in a last hopefully effort, Juno and his allies of the new Alliance made an attempt to evacuate the last of the refugees of Victakan. In their attempt to save as many as they could, Juno and his last remaining forces were overwhelmed by the swarming Dark Lily forces. Realizing there was no way they could fight, they surrendered to buy the refugees more time to escape. However, two of Juno’s allies, Crysanthemum the Leafeon and Chuck the Bastiodon attempted to rescue Juno and his allies. However, the attempt had failed, and as a result, all of them were killed.

With Juno dead, the Nightjade division of the alliance was doomed. However, Habira, a fourteen foot tall Rock giant, had taken Juno’s place as the commander of the Nightjade forces. But despite his efforts, The Dark Lily forces had spread rapidly, infecting all of Victakan, and almost all of Azmarax. Every day, more Pokémon were becoming infected, and had begun to realize there was nothing anyone could do to stop them. In their hopelessness, they joined the Dark Lily, hoping other Pokémon would quickly realize that it was the destiny of Talandra to become a planet of flowers, and all Pokémon were to inherit what they considered to be a gift.

----------------------

It has been five years since these events have unfolded. With the continents of Victakan and Azmarax both nearly completely infected and covered with the Shaymin Flowers, the Dark Lily have turned toward Kanat and Synamax, the last two continents of the Alliance that stand in their way of their goal of covering the entire planet. And every day that passes, the Dark Lily grows in power as more Pokémon become demoralized, and just want the resistance and the fighting to end. More and more, these same Pokémon had sided with the Dark Lily, believing there is no choice but for every last Pokémon to finally accept that total infection was meant to be Talandra’s destiny. However, there are many that still refuse to accept that and will fight to the death to stop it.

The Alliance, combining the Advanced Evolution resources of Nightjade and the technology of the Urban Unity, realize that the odds are still against them, but at least now their chances are better than when they were fighting each other. Now, only small remnants of Newjade remain, most of them either disbanded from Hisoto’s death, or were captured and initiated by the Dark Lily themselves.

Meanwhile, the Dark Lily grows stronger and stronger, using their “Green Magic” to infect more Pokémon and bend all plant life surrounding them to their will.

Time is running out for the Alliance. Its all down to you now. Will you support the resistance campaign of the Nightjade and Urban Unity alliance, or will you join the Dark Lily, seeking to accomplish the dream of infecting the entire planet, convincing all resistance there is no hope? You decide.

THE SHAYMIN FLOWER INFECTION

First and foremost, Pokémon that are already grass types can’t be infected by this. Meanwhile, Pokémon can still evolve even if they’re infected, but the infection remains in their new form.

Essentially, any Pokémon that has been afflicted with the Shaymin Flower Infection is now a grass type, which is either tacked onto the single type they have, or replaces one of the types they had (in the case of a dual type Pokémon). So a Ratatta would become a Normal/Grass type, while a Pidgey would become a Grass/Flying type. In terms of appearance, Pokémon that have been infected are now mainly green in color with leaves and flowers blossoming around them. Like Shaymin, if they stay still in a particular place for at least ten minutes, they cause flowers to bloom around them.

There are both advantages and disadvantages to this infection:

In terms of advantages, infected Pokémon can use any grass-type move, and only need water to survive, though they do need quite a bit of it. Meanwhile, their lifespan has also been tripled (even though this may not be applicable when it comes to the RP) due to the purifying nature of the Shaymin abilities that have been granted to them. They also are resistant to poisonous gases and can even remove them. Finally, they have regenerative abilities, able to heal considerably faster than normal non-infected Pokémon.

The Common Infected – Most of the Pokémon that bear the infection (99%) are considered “common infected” and are now simply grass types with leaves and flowers. Like the Pokémon Shaymin, these Pokémon cause flowers to blossom around them. However, the major difference is the common infected can’t involuntarily infect other Pokémon.

The Deeply Infected – A rare few of the infected Pokémon (1%) have been exposed to so much infection and Dark Lily’s Green Magic enchantment that they are now considered deeply infected (The Dark Lily call them “The Lily’s Chosen” while the Alliance and other factions against the Dark Lily call them the Dark Lily’s Elite or “Weedskins” as a derogatory name). Many of the more noticeable traits are these Pokémon are slightly bigger, have a deeper green color, and the leaves and flowers that are growing out of them are massive. Meanwhile, they have the capability of infecting any Pokémon that comes even close to them, even without the use of Dark Lily Green Magic, and they are a direct source of spreading Shaymin infective flowers. All of the deeply infected Pokémon are extremely proficient users of Green Magic. Also, all deeply infected Pokémon are pure grass types, losing whatever different type alignments they might have had before.

Needless to say, only the Dark Lily have access to deeply infected Pokémon.

FACTIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS

THE ALLIANCE

Combining the discovery of Advanced Evolutions and technology, the Pokémon of the Alliance are trying hard to find a way to fight back against the Dark Lily. Even now, many of the Pokémon within the Alliance have been infected, but still refuse to join and submit themselves to the Dark Lily’s cause. Meanwhile, the Alliance highly values the infected Pokémon as they are the only ones that can directly fight the Dark Lily without the consequence of being infected (because they already are). Meanwhile, even though it may take many years of research, they are determined to find a way to reverse the infection, and remove the flowers that are infecting the entire world. However, at the moment, they have yet to find it…

Advanced Evolution: Going beyond the scope of the game’s evolutions, Advanced Evolutions are fakemon evolutions of already existing Pokémon. In all cases of Pokémon, the Advanced Evolution form follows this pattern:

Single Stage Pokémon (Farfetch’d, Zangoose, etc.) – These Pokémon can now evolve, with their second stage being their Advanced Evolution form.

Double Stage Pokémon (Vulpix/Ninetales, Munchlax/Snorlax, etc.) – These Pokémon now have a third stage that is their Advanced Evolution form.

Triple Stage Pokémon (Charmander/Charmeleon/Charizard, etc.) – The Advanced Evolution form replaces the third stage. So a Pokémon in its second stage would have to decide to abandon their natural third stage to achieve Advanced Evolution.

These Advanced Evolutions also follow this pattern in relation to the evolution item held:

Fire Stone/Magmarizer – Evolve into a Fire type Pokémon
Thunder Stone/Electirizer – Evolve into an Electric type
Water Stone – Evolve into a Water type
Leaf Stone/Sun Stone – Evolve into a Grass type
Dragon Scale – Evolve into a Dragon type
Metal Coat – Evolve into a Steel type
Dusk Stone – Evolve into a Dark type
Reaper Cloth – Evolve into a Ghost type
Protector – Evolve into a Rock type

Other items, such as the Shiny Stone, Dawn Stone, and so on are left to the discretion of the RPer.

Pokémon in an “Advanced Evolution” stage do not have resistance to the Shaymin Flowers and are just as susceptible to infection as other Pokémon are. However, if an Advanced Evolution Pokémon gets infected, they are allowed to become a Pokémon with three types, where one of those three needs to be the Grass type. So for example, if you made a Dark type Advanced Evolution of Wartortle (to replace Blastoise) and he got infected, his types would be Dark/Water/Grass. This is the only situation where a three-type Pokémon can be possible.

Urban Unity Technology: – Because the Urban Unity has researched technology, your Pokémon character can be equipped with armor, have a weapon, and even a vehicle (note that because vehicles are WWII era, they’re quite easy to destroy considering the kinds of powers Pokémon have). Your character can also be a specialist and could also create armor, weapons, and vehicles. Because Nightjade and the Urban Unity have shared resources, any Pokémon in the Alliance can now use their technology.

Note that the tech level in this RP CAN NOT be advanced. You’re free to produce as many WWII or earlier era technology items as you like, but it may not go any further than that. Note that large machines or vehicles, such as battleships or Boeing B-17-like airplanes, should take time to construct. However, simple devices such as radios can be created in single posts.

THE DARK LILY

The Dark Lily arose as a cult that actually praised the arrival of the Shaymin Flowers, captivated by their serene beauty, color, and fragrance, as well as their ability to grow in even harsh climates, now “beautifying” wastelands and frozen tundra landscapes. They also don’t see the spread of the flowers as an infection (they refuse to call it that), but instead consider it to be a blessing and a gift that should be spread across the world and bestowed upon all Pokémon. As a result, they only kill resistance when they pose a threat. Civilians are definitely the first to be targeted for infection and inception into the Dark Lily, while the warriors of the resistance are often disarmed and forcefully committed to the Dark Lily’s will. Those that try to defy them even after infection are imprisoned and are kept in there until they are willing to believe in the cause.

Green Magic – Dark Lily Green Magic is the core weapon of the Dark Lily. With Green Magic, Dark Lily warriors have the ability to command the plants around them, using vines, tree branches, briars, and other similar plant-based offensive measures as attacks to anyone who opposes them. However, these kinds of spells can only be used in outside areas where other plants exist.

In addition, through Green Magic, Dark Lily warriors can use it to summon the Shaymin flowers, which start small but grow bigger and bigger the more time the Dark Lily warrior spends on casting the spell. Also, the more Dark Lily Pokémon casting, the faster and stronger the flowers grow. At the moment, the Alliance has yet to find a solution to stop the process and kill the Shaymin flowers. Meanwhile, they don’t have a countermeasure against the infective attributes of the flowers either. The Shaymin flowers also do more than just infect Pokémon. They can be used to grow up from under buildings, destroying them and causing these structures to crumble to the ground.

Dark Lily also have the potential to use Green Magic to create “The Lily’s Chosen,” deeply infected Pokémon with stronger and fiercer Green Magic and with flowers that can directly spread the “gift” to all Pokémon even without summoning the Shaymin flowers (any non-infected Pokémon within 100 yards runs a high risk of getting infected). In addition, the power of their grass-type moves is tripled. The drawback is creating these warriors is very time and energy consuming, so only the Dark Lily’s elite warriors and commanders are selected for this elite status. Finally, any Pokémon that becomes a Lily’s Chosen becomes purely grass type. If they were flying types before, they simply only have “Levitate” as an ability now, but they are still capable of flying.

With Regards to Advanced Evolutions and Technology – The Dark Lily typically doesn’t have any Pokémon with Advanced Evolutions. Pokémon that have betrayed the Alliance cause after becoming Advanced Evolution Pokémon are typically the first to be selected to become Lily’s Chosen to clear the traces of the Alliance from them, as well as make sure they are committed to the Dark Lily cause (mainly because there’s no way the Alliance would allow them to come back in that state).

Meanwhile, the Dark Lily doesn’t use very much technology, though if it just happens to be there and using it would greatly help them in ways that Green Magic wouldn’t, they would consider it if they possess the knowledge of how to use it. However, they only salvage what they actually need and don’t bother to make their own. At the same time, what they do use is also on a very temporary basis, as they find using Green Magic far more reliable than the weapons of the Alliance.

MAP OF TALANDRA

Legend:

Alliance Controlled Areas are locations with name labels marked in Yellow.
Dark Lily Controlled Areas are locations with name labels marked in Pink.

Map Characteristics:
  • Large cities are resembled by large white dots with a large city label hovering above them. Smaller cities and towns are resembled by smaller white dots with a smaller city label hovering above them. Small villages are not indicated on the map, but this does not mean they don’t exist! Its up to the RPers to discover and define these villages if they come across them in their travels.
  • Any city location that has two dash marks around it (for example, --Graystone City--) indicates a city or town that has been overrun by the Shaymin Flower overgrowth. Though the original infection greatly damaged most of these cities, many of them have been able to rebuild, but now need to compensate for the flowers that surround the cities.
  • The city and town possession indicated on the map is only reflective from the role play’s beginning. Its quite possible possession may change over time as control over certain cities is switched from one faction to the other depending on the outcomes of battles and so forth.

DEATH AND DYING

It IS possible to kill other RP characters, as well as be killed by them in this RP. HOWEVER, IT MUST BE DONE FAIRLY AND REALISTICALLY. If your character dies, that’s not necessarily the end for them.

When it comes to which of these two afterlife realms your character goes to, Murhe is the realm of the evil, and Sovinto is the realm of the good (FUN FACT: In Finnish, Murhe actually means woe and grief, while Sovinto means peace and reconciliation). Depending on your character's personal alignment and their past actions, its up to you to decide where they go (i.e. you get to be St. Peter for a day). Obviously, a saint of a Pokémon wouldn't end up in Murhe, and a homicidal maniac wouldn't find themselves in Sovinto. Use your best judgment, but if you can't decide, flip a coin.

Yes, you actually can have Alliance Pokémon go to Murhe if they’re needlessly sadistic, cruel, and murderous to even the Dark Lily, or they’re even cruel and heartless to their own team members. And yes, you can actually have Dark Lily Pokémon go to Sovinto if they were merciful and used peaceful persuasion instead of brute, violent force to convert Pokémon to follow the Dark Lily cause. It all depends on the character and their actions.

And some rules on killing other people’s characters:
  • YOU MUST GIVE THE CHARACTER YOU’RE ATTACKING A CHANCE TO RESPOND. There are absolutely NO one-hit kills when it comes to attacking and killing another person’s character.
  • Consider injuries as well. If your character is very critically wounded, keep in mind that they won’t be fighting at anything close to full strength, and that further injury should result in death. As far as inflicting injuries to others, start small and work your way up toward graver injuries if the battle continues on. As long as they are fair and are realistically inflicted, there's no problem.
  • Upon revival, Pokémon that were infected by the Shaymin flowers are cured, but only if they want to be).

AFTERLIFE

MURHE

Murhe is essentially Hell for Pokémon, where those that have sinned and have done horrible crimes against their fellow Pokémon are condemned.

Grindscape – A typical wasteland, Grindscape isn’t so much as painful as it is extremely boring. The land is very prone to earthquakes, which may seem shocking at first until those who stay in Grindscape quickly get used to them, and realize it’s impossible to do anything with the terrain always shaking and rumbling. Also, nothing grows in Grindscape either, and generally, only the mad wish to permanently live there.

Shatterlands – As a nearby neighbor to Grindscape, most of the Shatterlands is cracked and broken, very much like an arid, dark desert. However, the worst part of the Shatterlands is the hideous and ear-splitting noise. Loud, hideous grinding sounds make it impossible to speak or even think straight. Meanwhile, those that live here are either deaf or are too senile to even notice the sounds in the first place.

The Abysmal Strand – As a twisting, horribly-shaped area, the Abysmal Strand’s pain and frustration is its horrible smell. Those who don’t live in the Abysmal Strand are always nauseous and feel the need to throw up every pressing, foul-smelling second. Also, it is impossible to eat anything and keep it down. Most Pokémon undergo the same pain of constantly feeling the need to vomit, even poison-types. The smells are also from noxious gasses that result in hideous and disgusting diseases, which induce even more nausea and violent vomiting.

Sunken Hills – Considered to be an upside-down land, the Sunken Hills are the home of the completely insane and psychotic. While the landscape looks and feels like a mountain range in reverse, most of the land consists of sunken pits and canyons. As for the Pokémon, they are either completely mad, are total idiots, or are insanely homicidal. Those who live here end up learning a new language only they can speak, and as everyone tries to speak their own language to everyone else, random body language becomes the only real form of communication. Also, everyone seems to want to go somewhere, but they don’t know where to end up going.

Reject City – Reject City actually looks and feels like a normal modern day city at first. However, upon closer inspection, the City is completely overstuffed with Pokémon who are too impatient and still believe they need to work 80 hour work weeks to keep living. Most people in the city either have very dirty jobs, or boring office jobs that never change day by day. Meanwhile, the frustrations of every day life are multiplied many times. To everyone, work hours go slower, and hours of leisure are over in mere seconds. All coffee is decaf, all the cars are the same, all the televisions are stuck on the same news channel, and the weather is always the same: a cloudless sky with no sun. Here, people know what time it is, but the actual date is never mentioned. In fact, calendars completely stop existing in Reject City. There are many in Reject City that even deny they are dead.

Weaponblood – While most of Murhe is psychologically horrific, Weaponblood is the exception. Those who come to Weaponblood get caught up in the desire to endlessly kill or be killed. Always a bloody warzone, fighting and combat never stop and never know rest in this area. Like a twisted video game, those who are “killed” simply respawn so they can kill or be killed again. Weapons like knives and firearms are also respawned so the fighting never stops and so everyone involved with the endless carnage always has something to fight with. As a result, the lands are totally saturated with blood, bullets, broken weapons, bodies and body parts, and the like.

Gluttony’s Playground – Probably one of the most disturbing areas, those that come and live in Gluttony’s Playground are absolutely obsessed with eating. Pokémon are given infinite food to binge on, inflating them up like monstrous balloons as they become completely unaware of what their intake is doing to them. However, the fatter they become, the more their bodies evolve to meet the endless intake, often eliminating needless bones, organs, and appendages such as feet and legs that become useless once they’re too fat to walk. Shortly after, their own blood becomes fatty oil and fat-producing organs begin to grow in their massive bodies.

Firesplatter – Murhe’s star hellhole is Firesplatter. The temperature is always 650 degrees Fahrenheit, but somehow Pokémon can tolerate the heat, albeit not ever well. However, fire Pokémon would actually enjoy this place if it wasn’t so horribly boring. The food here is always burnt, and the heat often drives those that hate it into absolute madness. Also, all Pokémon that live here now have red and black skin, which isn’t painful now that they’ve gotten used to the burns, but it still looks horrendously ugly. Pokémon also start losing their fur and feathers, become very shriveled up, and look terribly ugly.

The Grim Void – Everything in the Grim Void looks horrible, smells horrible, tastes horrible, feels horrible, and sounds horrible. The main objective of the Grim Void is to harass and frustrate as many Pokémon senses as possible at all the same time. For example, a dinner may look like a dead, black roach that smells like manure. When attempting to eat it or touch it, it will feel like broken glass and make a horrible screeching sound during that time. Meanwhile, all things in the Grim Void are like this, defying logic and knowledge to create the most absolute abysmal place to be.

Escaping from Murhe

Knowing you wouldn’t want to be stuck here the entire RP, there are ways to get out. How exactly you find them is up to you, but it should involve seeing at least two of the different areas, and spending at least five posts in each of them (total of 10). What exactly you do to get out is up to your own ideas, but you should still need to work at it. For example, someone who can provide escape may want you to do them a service that requires travel to certain locations. Or you may find a piece of a one-time-use artifact that could bring you out of Murhe, but requires assembly and the pieces are scattered around.

Once you come back to life, you appear back in Talandra normally again, but it needs to be in areas that your team controls. You can’t reappear in an enemy territory.

SOVINTO

Sovinto is considered to be the Heaven for Pokémon. If your character is good-aligned and is killed during the course of the RP, you’ll find yourself here.

The Emerald Islands – The main feature of the Emerald Islands is its rich vegetation and its incredibly beautiful flowers and foliage. No flower or tree ever wilts here, and it provides a fantastic place to rest and reside in. This is pretty much the maximum amount of paradise a grass-type Pokémon will ever hope to experience. Meanwhile, the area is also known for its pleasant and windy shores, creating a refreshing and sweet-smelling breeze that entices the senses.

The Horizon Crescent – The Horizon Crescent is like one giant sunny beach that’s always just the right temperature. Pleasant breezes make sure this permanent vacation spot never gets too hot, but allows it to stay bright and sunny all day long. The sand is always soft, doesn’t stick like glue even after being in the water, and Pokémon can drink the ocean’s water with comparable refreshment to sweet-tasting flavored bottled water.

Midnight Passion Isles – Starry skies, neon lights and terrific nightlife await in the Midnight Passion Isles, where its like a night out in Vegas without the extreme expense. The drinks are always sweet, the desserts are flavorful and pack as much calories and fat grams as a bottle of water, and the games and excitement are fun, fresh, and can be enjoyed by everyone and anyone. And every once in a while, people break out in song everyone already knows the words and beat to, like it’s the best musical ever performed and everyone gets to be a part of it.

The Sunrise Coast – Renown for its incredible sunrises and sunsets, the Sunrise Coast offers the best place to simply relax, rest, and offer refreshment. Featuring many similar beaches like what the Horizon Crescent offers, the stars are still visible even in the afternoon sky. Offering a warm tranquility, the Sunrise Coast is also known for its serene and quiet plains.

The Aurora Fields – The rolling, beautifully colored plains of the Aurora Fields offer both fantastic views and sights for both those looking upon the ground and the sky. In the endlessly starry expanse of the sky, bright, rainbow-colored auroras shine and wave in the sky with beautiful color schemes never imagined before. These same plains offer reassuring therapy for those that led painful and tragic lives before death.

Wintersong Plains – Blessed with the beauty and color of winter without the harsh, bitter cold, the Wintersong Plains is always like a bright January morning, where the snow is soft and easy to shape, while all of the trees are covered with a glass-like ice that easily refracts light and creates rainbows like a prism. Endless skiing and snowboarding without the risk of pain and injury are a main highlight here, along with refreshing winter sights.

Gemlight Islands – Like a sea of precious gems and stones, the cities and roads are literally made of rubies, topazes, emeralds, sapphires, diamonds, garnets, pearls, amethysts, and millions of other kinds of gems both seen and unseen before. Meanwhile, these islands are full of color and enjoyment, and the jewelry is unlike anything in Talandra and is incredibly easy to create without any tools.

Lovefire Peninsula – The Lovefire Peninsula is the home of lovers who have wed for life, and always wish to remain together for all eternity. Here, the sights and the sounds are always romantic, lovely, and encourage passionate relationships between love-connected couples.

Corona Islands – The Corona Islands are known as the “Islands of Light” due to them being the brightest locations in Sovinto. Despite how bright the light is, all eyes can look into it without squinting or shielding. Meanwhile, bright, colorful and harmless fires dance in the sky, creating magnificent lights and shapes that never cease to amaze.

Escaping from Sovinto

Despite the fact Sovinto is the best eternal dream possible in the RP, I know you want to get back to the fight. There are ways to leave Sovinto, but there’s more to that then what meets the eyes.

Leaving Sovinto means trying to resist the temptations to stay there and forget about the wars, which should be difficult for your character to consider doing. Also, in order to leave, like Murhe, some objectives need to be accomplished. Two different locations (5 posts in each for a total of 10) must be visited in a self-assigned mission, which may be trying to look for a hidden portal, helping someone who can help you find your way back, or assembling a one-time-use artifact that can take you back to the world of the living.

Once you come back to life, you appear back in Talandra normally again, but it needs to be in areas that your team controls. You can’t reappear in an enemy team’s base.

RULES:

NOTE: Several of these rules have been adopted as PE2K role-playing standard. Most PE2K role players will understand them, and I’ll try to make these as clear as I can for GTS role players who may be unfamiliar with these. If you have questions about these, please ask.

The RP Post Header

On the top of each RP post should be a header indicating your character’s name and species, their faction, and their current location. It should look something like this:

Desh the Farfetch’d (Name of character & Pokémon species)
Dark Lily (Faction)
Center Lake City, Victakan (Location: city and continent)

This may sound like a hassle at first, but trust me, it is a MAJOR HELP when it comes to finding who your allies and enemies are, what Pokémon their characters are and what their names are (which will save you from having to go back to the sign up thread and look for their sign up again), and where to find them so that you can interact with them and they can interact with you. Also, if your character is in the same location as other people’s characters, this will be a much quicker alert to that fact rather than having to deeply read into all the intricate details in their posts, which would eat a lot of time and slow the RP down. With this, if you see they’re in the same location as you, it will be a much faster alert for you to be on the lookout for possible interactions that their character may be trying to use with your character, such as conversation, attacking, and so on.

The Traveling Rule

When moving from one location to another, the journey should take AT LEAST three posts. It should work in a fashion similar to this:

Post #1 – “The Departure Post.” The character finishes their business in their current location, and ends the post with them leaving, bound for their next intended destination. For example, let’s say Desh the Farfetch’d decides to leave Center Lake City after buying a few items in town. The last details in the “Departure Post” would be the details of him leaving the town and going beyond the city limits.

Header example:

Desh the Farfetch’d
Dark Lily
Center Lake City, Victakan

Post #2 – “The En Route Post.” The second post in the character’s travel should cover the journey that the character undertakes to reach their new destination. Let’s say Desh is flying to the town of Vora. His En Route post should cover what things he sees and experiences on his way to that location. For example, during Desh’s flight, he may reflect on the things he sees as he flies over the Victankan Plains on the way to Vora. Its also possible his travel may be interrupted by an enemy character. Note that distance does not matter for this rule, but a larger “en route” post should be in order if the travel is very long, such as if Desh was flying from Center Lake City all the way to Houan Peak in southern Azmarax. Also, the form of transportation does not matter in terms of how long it takes to reach new locations, but logically speaking, a character would have to use a ship or a flying or a water Pokémon to cross bodies of water. Also, it can be assumed that roads and highways connect cities and towns to each other.

Header example:

Desh the Farfetch’d
Dark Lily
En Route to Vora, Victakan

Post #3 – “The Arrival Post.” The third post in the character’s travel marks the end of the travel, where the character finally arrives at their intended destination. So after flying over the Victankan Plains, Desh finally arrives in the town of Vora.

Header example:

Desh the Farfetch’d
Dark Lily
Vora, Victakan

Other Rules
  • Please, no god-modding (obtaining unstoppable levels of power or luck and/or general abuse of the context/content of the RP) or bunnying (controlling other people’s characters without their consent). These two are a plague to role playing, please try to avoid them and be fair.
  • Please, no spamming or flaming. Also, respect your fellow RPers, both the ones on your side and the ones on the opposing forum’s team. If you have an issue or conflict that you want to see resolved, please be courteous about it.
  • Role Play posts should have correct spelling and grammar. If you’re unsure, type them in a word processor such as Microsoft Word or OpenOffice (which is free). These will allow you to spell check and grammar check your post before submitting it.
  • Limit Out of Character (OOC) chat within the RP itself (a quick heads up sentence or two is fine, but if there’s a issue you want to bring up that’s going to be at least a paragraph long, consider using the discussion thread. Also, don’t make posts in the RP thread just for out of character discussion.
  • Role play posts should be AT LEAST a paragraph long, though it is generally encouraged to go beyond that.

THE SIGN UP

And finally, the stuff you’ve been waiting for.

Name: (Commander) Habira
Gender: Male
Age: 112
Species: Geodude>Graveler>Rock King Rock/Grass Advanced Evolution

Description: Rock King(credit to chengkor)
A towering behemoth of rock as strong as titanium. Habira is a fourteen foot tall tower of undefiable and utterly devastating death. Habira has golden eyes, and his 9 red dots formulate his singular eye, and are positioned in the area of where his head is presumed to be- which is actually part of the body. Habira is quite hard to pick out in mountainous areas, and can usually be mistaken for a mountain. Habira is a fearsome sight to see on the battlefield, striking fear in both his foes and friends. The grass is a light green, and he has the beginning of a tree growing on his back, directly upwards- like a spine. The tree is about a foot big currently.

Personality: Habira is an aspiring soldier, holding the values of his allies lives far above his own. He is willing to sacrifice everything for his friends, and fights for the Nightjade cause until the very end. Habira used to argue that the two sides of the Nightjade and Urban Unity should unite, once the Shaymin Flower Infection had begun, but sadly Unity blamed Nightjade, and his calls for uniting were ignored. Habira has a deep respect for Juno.

Habira has become frustrated over the ferocity that the New Lily Forces, and has become troubled over how little the forces of the Alliance have been able to stop the spread of the infection. Habira is pressured by taking the head of the Alliance forces after the death of Juno, but he is firmly setting an example to the troops, and has brought upon strict war time food rations because their food supplies have begun to dwindle, with most of the land's resources having come from Victakan and Azmarax.

Habira is a strong minded fellow, and believes that Juno will return to help stop the New Lily spread. Habira has a great dislike to the infected who think that the land should be filled with the Shaymin Flowers, as Habira believes that it is agricultural destruction, and an insult to the forefathers of the land of Talandra.

Background: Habira lived at Eastedge for a long time, until his late 30's where he left to begin his travelling. He was a large Graveler by then, and lived in many Urban Unity cities. He had a deep understanding of the Urban Unity, and was befriended by many of the Unity soldiers and civilians. Habira, when he was 67, moved to Kanat, where he spent several years relaxing, studying the lore of the history of the land.

Habira was out studying some spectacular findings when he collapsed. When he came to, he was much, much taller, and he had one sole eye instead of two. Habira also noticed he had grass growing on his body, and could not believe it. There had never been anything in the lore about evolving into an unseen creature.

Habira joined the Nightjade army when the Flower Infection outbreak began, and attempted to get the two sides to ally, however, it was to no avail as Urban Unity blamed Nightjade, and his calls were ignored. He tried to refrain from fighting, but had to when he heard of the innocent civilians being killed. Habira played a superb part early in the war, seizing a horde of Urban Unity villages filled with soldiers, as well as Kampuh fortress in the Darkane Mountains, and he managed to capture the Acturian fortess northwest of Center Lake City.

Habira took the front of the Nightjade forces after the death of Juno, and began to formulate a counter attack against the spread of the infection. Habira was formally given the title of commander of the entire Alliance force, as he stopped the New Lily push into the Darkane Mountains, his tactics and decisions having won the battle, against a force double the size of his.

Habira has been planning a massive counterattack against the New Lily, having for the last four years been amassing a large army of not only troops, but siege weaponry from both the Nightjade and Urban Unity.

Faction: Alliance

Other:
Kajin- Habira's right hand. Kajin has been with Habira since the start of the war, and advises Habira.(Lucario)
Kajan- Kajin's brother. Kajan has also been with Habira since the start of the war, and Kajan also advises Habira.(Lucario)
Jaxan- The task leader of the siege weapons under Habira's command.(Machamp)

Name: Griger
Gender: Male
Age: 35
Species: Snover>Abomasnow>Armored Dragon. Ice/Dragon
Faction: Alliance

Description: (credit to fatmon66)
Griger has armor all over his skin, leaving no gaps. The armor on his hands have two sharp points protruding from them, around five inches long and razor sharp. Griger's eyes burn a crimson red. Griger stands at a tremendous 7 foot exactly. His armor is really part of his flesh after he was exposed to the Dragon Scale. The "armor" is a beautiful golden colour.

Personality: Griger is a trustworthy Pokemon who has deep respect for Juno. Griger would never intentionally bring harm upon his friends, as they are one of the most treasured things of his. Griger is a fiery combatant, not one to back down, however, he knows his limits, and will stop if his commander orders him to. Griger has been plagued with sorrow as his only means of escape from Sovinto is dealing a life threatening blow to Juno, and having Juno's blood spill upon a shard embedded in Griger's right arm.

Griger has sworn to himself that he will not do something like that to his friend, he cannot bring himself to harm his friend. Griger believes that the Alliance is a good thing, and that together, the two factions can save the land, and stop the spread of the infection before it is too late.

Background: Griger's past is a big mystery, he himself not even knowing. Griger accompanied Xy to meet Juno, and followed Juno loyally. Griger fought at the battle of Center Lake City, saving the lives of a Hypno and Pikachu when the Dark Lily attacked. Griger was the first one to move into action to save the civilians of Center Lake City from the impending army of Dark Lily. Griger was injured by a Dark Lily soldier using their Green Magic, but he was tended to by a Lockdown soldier.

Juno led a force to Snowpoint to stop Hisoto's destruction, and Griger's helicopter was shot down, crashing into the Mistress' building. Griger survived the crash, but was wounded again by Hisoto. Griger knew he couldn't face up to Hisoto, as he was mortally wounded, and sacrificed himself using a grenade. However, Hisoto survived the blast. Griger found himself in Sovinto, where he resided to asking Juno to come and save him.

Ultimately, Griger discovered that Juno had died, and proceeded to find Juno, and hopefully escape from Sovinto, and return to Talandra and save the land from destruction.

Other:

Name: Xy
Gender: Male
Age: 35
Species: Larvitar>Pupitar>Infected Tyranic Dragon(Tyranitar, Dragon cat.gif) Grass. Also has the Levitate ability.
Faction: New Lily

Description: thanks to x Giratina for the awesome picture happy.gif
Stands about 6 foot eight inches tall, and weighs around 250 to 260 pounds. Xy's eyes are a blood red colour, much like his skin. He developed wings thanks to the Dragon Scale he was exposed to. Thanks to the Levitate ability Xy gained, he is able to fly, but not at dramatic heights. Xy cannot fly very long distances, cannot fly in very high heights, and has less manouverability than other flying Pokemon. Xy has a scar across his belly from a spar with a Ursaring.

Xy's skin is now heavily green in colour, a massive patch of grass having encompassed his back, the small sproutings of a tree on his back. Xy's wings are now much larger than before he was infected, and are deep green in colour.

Personality: Xy is a fierce battler, a keen studier of Urban Unity history, even though he despises them. Xy can be quite, cocky, at times, but this can be rare. He is not one to back down from a fight, much like his friend Hisoto. Xy has been referred to as a Munchlax or Snorlax at times, as he loves food. He hates Urban Unity with a passion, for what they did to Hisoto, and what they did to his family.

Xy is a keen battler, and trained daily before the war. Xy has a knowledge of the techniques of battle, from the guns and technology of Urban Unity, to the raw power of Nightjade. Xy is fascinated by the Advanced Evolutions, and has begun researching enormously into the stones, hoping to discover even stronger potential. Xy looks up to Hisoto, and treats him like a brother, which Hisoto does back. However, they do not have a true friendship like some other Pokemon have.

Xy used to be a loner before meeting Hisoto and Griger. However, he opened up heavily when he befriended Hisoto, and accompanies Hisoto on his journeys anywhere. Xy trusts Hisoto with his life, and Xy hopes that Hisoto trusts him with his life. Xy became a changed man after the Alliance formed, being thrown into a deep rage. He began to despise everything about the Nightjade and Urban Unity, hating everyone who followed their pathetic ways.

Xy will stop at nothing until he has wiped the Alliance off the face of Talandra, and has spread the infection throughout the land, under his banner, thanks to his might.

Background: Xy lived on the outskirts of Urban Unity territory, in a makeshift "town", though it was really a camp. An assortment of Tyranitar living together protecting each other. Hugely territorial. Xy had been born at the camp, and had been one of the fastest Pokemon at the camp to grow up, evolving into a Pupitar. Xy lived as a Pupitar until roughly 5 years prior to the war. Xy had long been exposed to a Dragon Scale, and seemed to be the only Pupitar near the Scale.

5 years prior to the war, Urban Unity soldiers marched on the camp, attacking any and all Tyranitar they could see. When they arrived in the child area, they slaughtered all the Larvitar, and began killing all the Pupitar. Xy was the last Pupitar left, and he closed his eyes as they closed in, when he was suddenly enveloped in a blinding flash of light. Xy could hear bullets firing, but felt nothing. When the light subsided, Xy had evolved into.. a Tyranitar.. but not a Tyranitar.

Xy mercilessly cut down the Urban Unity soldiers like they had cut down his family, making them suffer tremendously for it. He called himself a Tyranic Dragon, because of his new found wings, and because he was born from the tyranny of Urban Unity's evil act of evil.

Xy travelled the land, and headed towards Nightjade territory. He sought refuge, as he was wanted by Urban Unity for killing ten Urban Unity soldiers, though they had no sketch or appearance of him. Whilst in Nightjade territory, he met a peculiar Pokemon who called himself an Iron Fist, though he had never seen, or heard of a Pokemon like that. It seemed he too had been exposed to some sort of stone. Xy moved into Urban Unity territory, where he began to research their technology. He stayed there for two years before he was pursued by civilians calling him a monster, a freak of nature.

Returning back to Nightjade, he decided to research the magical stones, and discover their full potential. Xy decided to keep the information he had learnt about Urban Unity weapons to himself, as he was utterly confused by how their technology had been made, what their technology consisted of, however, he had more knowledge of Urban Unity weapons than any other Nightjade he knew.

Xy met back up with Hisoto, and Hisoto's companion, Aux, as well as his own companion Griger. Hisoto was heading to find the fabled Juno, a great Pokemon of the Nightjade. Xy decided to stick with Hisoto, keep him company on his journey and to meet this Juno.

Xy fought with dedication at the battle at Center Lake City, ultimately being killed. Upon his return to Talandra, he discovered that Nightjade and Urban Unity had ceasefired, and he became enraged, breaking away and taking over Ysrenia by amassing a force of angered Nightjade soldiers and civilians who felt betrayed by Juno. Xy attacked Eastedge, heavily decimating it, before allying with the Dark Lily, forming the New Lily faction. He attacked the Alliance forces at Victakan Plains, killing Juno, Crysanthemum and Chuck, and swept the lands of Victakan and Azmarax away beneath the infection.

Xy was given command of the New Lily- his own segment of the Dark Lily- forces, and became in the public view of the Alliance, the leader of the New Lily forces, however, he is not the true leader, merely the frontal piece whilst the true leader begins preparations. Xy immediately amassed a enormous army, severly outnumbering the Alliance forces tremendously, and began construction of Nightjade siege weaponry to counter the Alliance's siege building. Xy was soon picked to become a Chosen, which further rose morale of his forces at the knowledge their leader was a Chosen.

Other: Xy has a knowledge of Urban Unity weapons and their capabilities as he used to live in Urban Unity for a while, studying their past. However, he has no idea how to use them. Xy has a powerful control over the Green Magic, as he is a Chosen. He is by far one of the most powerful Green Magic users of the Dark Lily forces.

Name: Hisoto
Gender: Male
Age: 34
Species: Machop>Machoke>Machamp Advanced evo(known as Iron Fists cat.gif) Fighting/Fire
Faction: Nightjade
Description: credit to TheBlueFlames on deviantart for making this..
Hisoto's eyes are a deep red colour, filled with the hatred he feels for Urban Unity and their petty technology. Hisoto stands at about six foot eight inches, towering above most Pokemon. Hisoto has a large scar going over his right eye, but it does not hinder his sight. Hisoto has no visible mouth, however it is under the metal around the neck, which doesn't seem to muffle his speech.
His two large spikes on his upper back can be used as a last-ditch weapon, and can penetrate most objects. His fists are made of a material that looks like Iron- why the evo is referred to as Iron Fists- however, the fists, and spikes are made of a material native to Talandra(got that right?), which is nearly as strong as diamond.
Hisoto weighs about 200 pounds.
Hisoto's skin is as tough as metal, and thus is hard to be affected by bullets. This is not to say he can't be killed by bullets, his skin is just really tough. Think the Hulk, but a bit softer. Bullets can pierce his skin, but they don't penetrate fatally unless it is within ten metres, even then, it is quite hard. (if you want me to edit this if this is overpowering, then I shall Neo..)
Personality:
Hisoto is a battle genius, studying his opponent's moves, and appropriatly countering them with his own strategy. He has a good sense of humor, and has been seen once making jokes with an Urban Unity before a battle. Hisoto is not one to back down easily, and will protect his friends, and comrades, to the very end, even to the point of sacrificing his own life for his friends to escape.

Hisoto has been known to have a mean streak, and can be a tough cookie to crack. Some say he is slightly mental as at times he can appear quite insane. However, he is in fact completely sane. Hisoto has been known to be considerate of others, as long as they are his friends. He is overprotective of his friends- well he should be, there is a war-. He can be easily angered if provoked, and will crush you.

Hisoto and his companion are like brothers, and Hisoto trusts his companion with his life. Hisoto also trusts his long time friend, Xy(my other character). Hisoto is loyal to Nightjade, after a member saved his life when he was just a Machop. Hisoto will fight for Nightjade, will die for Nightjade, he is Nightjade. Hisoto despises the Urban Unity for what they did to his family when he was a child, and wants revenge.
Background:
Hisoto was brought up by a travelling band of Machoke before the war. They used to travel the land, and were allowed passage into Urban Unity land even though the group of Machoke were considered Nightjades. As long as the travelling group did not threaten Urban Unity, they were allowed passage. One night, five Urban Unity Pokemon assaulted the group who were staying near Oasis, and they were slaughtered helplessly by the barrage of bullets. Hisoto tried to fight them off, but was cut down. However he did not die like the others. The Urban Unity men thought he was dead and left, making sure to burn down the camp.

A passing Riolu rescued Hisoto, and tended to him. When Hisoto regained consciousness, the Riolu still tended him until he fully recovered. The Riolu was called Auron, and the two became friends. Hisoto had to leave to train, as he wanted to avenge his fallen family, and he bid his farewells to his new friend Auron, and disappeared into the horizon(walked away). Several years went by, and Hisoto evolved into a Machoke. One day when he was training, a stone fell, and embedded itself in his back. There was no way of getting it out, and he was exposed to the stone- which turned out to be a fire stone. Several days passed before Hisoto began to feel weird, and the stone began shining a bright red, exploding around him in a blinding flash of energy. When the energy subsided, he was a whole new Pokemon. Hisoto decided to call himself an Iron Fist, on account of his now metallic hands.

Deep inside himself, Hisoto could feel the flames swelling, and he felt better, stronger, than he believed he could of ever achieved. Thanking Arceus(Arceus is the Pokemon God after all) for bestowing this gift upon him, he travelled back to where he had left his friend Auron. Sadly, Auron had long since left, and Hisoto remembered some advice Auron had given him. "When you feel as if you are ready, join the Nightjade."

Hisoto did this, and formally became a part of the Nightjade. He has been searching for his friend Auron for some time. When Hisoto formally joined Nightjade, he met a Pokemon that looked like a winged Tyranitar, called Xy, and the two became friends.
Hisoto and Xy were friends, but were not as good friends as Hisoto and Auron had become.

Hisoto heard of a fabled Pokemon that had wings, a Serachu called Juno. Hisoto admired the tales of Juno, a great leader, charismatic, energetic, qualities of a good friend, and mentor. Hisoto decided he would seek out Juno, and learn from him, hoping to better himself so he could live up to his dreams, achieving revenge.

Hisoto was enraged when Juno allied with the Urban Unity, and betrayed the newly formed Alliance, forming his splinter force of the Newjade. He decimated Snowpoint City, but was ultimately killed by the teamwork of Juno and Crysanthemum. Hisoto spent some time in Muhre, mulling over his decisions, and ultimately decided to seek redemption, collecting the Sword of Skaros in the process.

Hisoto returned to Talandra, and tried to rejoin the Alliance, however he was captured for execution. Hisoto was saved by an unknown figure, the night hiding the figure, and Hisoto escaped. Hisoto is hiding out somewhere in the Darkane Mountains, waiting.

Other: Sword of Skaros- A black sword of intense power. Has a ruby red glow to it. The blade is jagged, and oddly shaped, one of a kind.

My other three will be in another post XD Decided to formally make my NPC companions into characters...

Looks good, Kaioo! They're all set, I'll set the list up in a moment.

Name: Juno
Gender: Male
Age: 29
Species: Serachu (Pichu > Pikachu > Serachu: Electric/Flying). Pikachu evolved with Shiny Stone. Name comes from Seraph + Pikachu combined into one.
Faction: Nightjade

Description:

(Yes, I drew that myself. No credit needed here!)

Juno looks like this upon infection. IF he gets infected. :P

Standing 3’6” and weighing 35 pounds, Juno is covered by snow-white fur, except for the two yellow-gold stripes on his back, his yellow-gold cheeks and the yellow-gold stripes on both of his long ears. Meanwhile, the interior of his long ears is a pastel yellow, along with the down feathers that are on his wings. Atop his head is a slight overgrowth of fur that behaves somewhat like a crest.

On his back are two massive wings with pastel yellow down feathers and snow-white flight feathers. The thunderbolt-shaped tail from his Pikachu form has been changed into a long, sweeping white tail similar to the tail feathers on a bird of paradise. On the back of his legs are small “wings” of feathers pointing toward the back. Between these wing-like projections, along with his wing-shaped ears, Juno has the appearance of having six wings.

In terms of other physical characteristics, Juno is an extremely fast flier, using even the inherited speed and agility of his previous forms when it comes to flight, able to slightly overtake a Pidgeot’s Mach 2 speed. Meanwhile, Juno is especially perceptive, accurate, and is an extremely talented tracker, able to pinpoint and ascertain differences and discrepancies that would normally be missed by others. When enemies encounter him, they usually find they can’t run or hide.

Lastly, Juno is also very charismatic, which causes other Pokémon to see him as a leader among them.

Personality: Casual, free-thinking, and open-minded, Juno is the type of Pokémon that uses better judgment to make his decisions rather than rules and protocols. Because of this, he’s a master at improvising even in rough situations. In this same light, he feels ethics and knowing right from wrong by natural intuition will always be stronger than any law or principle. Meanwhile, Juno has a strong sense of humor and friendship, able to bring cheer and inspiration to others

Juno is also very optimistic, looking at the bright side of things rather than getting bogged down with depression when it seems like things are getting desperate. He sees hope as a major motivator, not just as a wish, but as a goal and a destination. He also believes good things are worth working for, even if the road to get to them seems long and hard.

Meanwhile, Juno greatly values friendship, camaraderie, and companionship, always asking himself about what he can do for others before doing the things he can do for himself. Because of this and his charisma, many Pokémon saw him as a natural commander back when he was still alive. And when it comes to his allies, Juno would never make a choice that would endanger them needlessly.

With regards to the Dark Lily forces, Juno is determined to find a way to stop them, even beyond the realm of death. He understands that it was never Shaymin’s intention to release the massive infection across the world, and because of that, the spreading of the infection is wrong. Right now, his primary focus is to get back to Talandra, and hopefully continue to fight the good fight. As for Sovinto, it pains Juno to try and leave it, but he knows he needs to set it aside for another day.

Background: Juno was born as a Pichu in the big city of Sylath to his mother Nyrice and his father Decken, both of which were Raichus. Juno was the oldest child of four, with two younger brothers Syrak and Kaz, along with his younger sister Jyita. Juno’s family was a bit on the impoverished side, but regardless, Juno kept an optimistic nature, always cherishing the things he already had as opposed to wanting the things that were beyond his reach. Unfortunately, Juno’s family didn’t have the Poké to provide for their education, and as a result, all four children needed to work in order to afford it. Among his brothers and sister, Juno was eager to discover new things about the world around him, and he worked hard in town as a store clerk to get the Poké necessary to pay for his education.

Without much surprise, Juno was the first in his family to evolve into a Pikachu, mainly a result of the happiness obtained in his discovery of being able to obtain the things he wanted with hard work and dedication. Even in his new form, Juno seemed even more charismatic, seemingly born and destined to do great things. As the years came by and Juno began his education, he showed signs of strong leadership, intellect, compassion, and empathy for those around him.

When Juno heard the story of the discovery of Advanced Evolution Pokémon, it was something that captivated him and inspired him, but in the beginning, he wasn’t exactly sure what item he should use. Still, growing up in the city of Sylath, he had seen many rolling deserts and oceans that went on for as far as the eye could see, locked against the horizon of a massive, blue sky. For the longest time, it had been Juno’s dream to be what he called a “cloudchaser,” fantasizing about flying with the birds. Regardless, as Juno knew, Pikachus typically evolved into Raichus who weren’t capable of flight. But with the recent discovery, Juno opened his heart and his faith, hoping he could find the right evolution item to grant him his wish. Knowing what most of the other evolution items did, he placed his faith in a Shiny Stone, paid for with very hard earned money, knowing he only had once chance to do this, but he was willing to give it a shot. Throughout time, Juno wore the stone as a pendant, keeping it close by him. Most Pokémon that knew Juno very well realized what he was trying to do, and Juno’s mission captivated them as well as they all wondered what exactly a Pikachu would evolve into when using a Shiny Stone.

And then one day, a few years later, it finally happened, and Juno evolved into the first ever “Serachu.” The Pokémon who knew him weren’t sure if it was luck or some kind of divine faith or wish that granted Juno the wings that he had sought for so long, but regardless, Juno was ecstatic over them. And then, for the first time, Juno used his wings to fly high and over the city of Sylath, being able to touch the sky like he had dreamed of doing for so long. Because of Juno, many Pokémon see him as a role model to inspire anyone that has always longed for something special, but came close to giving up.

Shortly after these events came to pass, Juno dedicated himself toward becoming a protector of the Nightjade faction, training himself to be a stronger warrior and guardian of the Pokémon that looked up to him.

During the course of the war, Juno made allies with the Pokémon in Snowpoint, and lead the attack on Center Lake City. However, it wasn’t long until a new crisis revealed itself to him, notably the Dark Lily, who took advantage of a weakened Nightjade and Urban Unity. Meanwhile, he had been informed that Hisoto had betrayed the Alliance, and Juno joined forces with Crysanthemum the Leafeon, and stopped Hisoto. However, unfortunately, neither of them could save the town, and Snowpoint had been leveled to the ground. In addition, Xy, who had also once been Juno’s ally, had decimated Eastedge.

When it became clear there was nothing they could do to save Victakan, Juno made the plan to evacuate, working alongside Oracle and Prophet, fellow Nightjade commanders, to get as many Pokémon out of Victakan as possible. During the mission, Oracle’s forces were overwhelmed, and Juno and his small army of only 1,000 troops was overwhelmed by the massive swarm of Dark Lily soldiers. Realizing there was no hope of fighting back, Juno selflessly stood his ground, giving the refugees time to get away while Juno and his compatriots took the fall. Juno, standing face to face with Xy the betrayer, offered to surrender. However, Chuck the Bastiodon and Crysanthemum the Leafeon both attempted to rescue Juno from Xy’s clutches, but their attempt had failed. As a result, Xy grew in anger, and immediately ended the lives of Juno and his allies.

Now, Juno finds himself in Sovinto, struggling to try and find a way to escape. Meanwhile, he feels pressured to try and get back as soon as he can, already feeling that so much damage has been done already in his absence.

Other: Thanks to Crysanthemum’s help, Juno is proficient in using light machine guns, as well as the bow and arrow, the weapon that Juno used to use. In addition to that, Juno carries a katana with him named “Starchaser.”

now for my other characters XD

Name: Aux
Gender: Male
Age: 37
Species: 3 Charizard->Dragonic Overlord. Fire/Electric.
Faction: Alliance

Description:
Stands at a glorious six foot nine inches. Aux's skin is a fiery mixture of ruby red and blazing orange. He has one large tail, spanning about two feet, which rises upwards, and is a mix of blue, yellow and red. His middle head- the fire- is the most dominant, and does all the speaking, the other two heads remaining silent. Aux has three crystals in his chest- a red one, a yellow one and a blue one- symbolising the three elements of Fire,Electric and Ice, however only two of the crystals actually provide power for Aux.

Personality: Aux has been dumped with a huge task of commanding the Nightjade forces, but has promised that he shall do his best. He is a fearless character, feeling that nothing is impossible. Aux is a smart fellow, knowing the fundamentals of battle. He holds an enormous respect for Juno, and if Juno were still alive, would not think twice before stepping down as commander, and giving the rightful leadership back to Juno.

Aux is a fierce fighter, not one to give up. He will never back down, unless all seems to be lost. Aux is easily angered, however he has learnt to keep his anger locked inside him, and not unleash it, as it could lead to a foolish decision that would backfire upon him, and lead to disaster. Aux also has a undeniable respect for Habira, who has done well in leading the Alliance. Aux is angered by how petty Xy is, and will not give up until Xy is stopped, whatever the cost may be.

Background: Aux's history is actually of three different Charizards from three different backgrounds. One lived in Syn City, studying tremendously over the fundamentalities of life, one lived in Eastedge, studying the plant life, whilst the other lived in Scarwell, and was a mechanic.

The three of them soon left their lives behind, meeting each other at Ysrenia, where they decided to travel together for a while. One day, the three were involved in a rockfall accident, in the process the trio becoming entangled and exposed to stones. When they awakened, they founds themselves joined in one body, with one mind. Aux's name came from the three Charizard's names, Adrian, Uther and Xyrion, or Aux.

Aux met Hisoto,Xy and Griger, and joined the Nightjade forces. Aux participated in the battle of Center Lake City under the leadership of Juno, but ultimately died in the battle. He returned to life in Minacen, along with Xy, and discovered that an Alliance had formed between Nightjade and Urban Unity. Aux then accompanied Oracle and Mismatius in the attack on Cyan Bay, razing the city to the ground, before rushing to aid the main force at Snowpoint. The battle turned sour, many troops under Oracle,Aux and Prophet's command dying to protect the refugees. Aux and co. reluctantly fell back when the refugees had escaped, not knowing the fate of Juno. Aux later discovered that Juno had fallen, and swore he would avenge his friend.

Other:

Name: Oracle
Gender: Male
Age: 113
Species: Misdreavus>Mismagius>Mismatius the Ghost/Dark Pokemon
Description: Credit to Masterthecreater of Deviantart for the picture.
Oracle is a one of a kind majestic Mismatius, the Ghost/Dark evolution of Mismagius. However, normal Mismagius don't become a Mismatius thanks to any stone, so he is truly one of a kind. Oracle does not truly have a physical form, and thus cannot be harmed by Physical attacks or physical projectiles such as bullets, however he has a weakness to Pokemon moves, especially Water and Rock moves. Oracle is an elder Nightjade Pokemon.

Personality:
Oracle has over the past five years changed tremendously. Originally, he wanted revenge against Urban Unity, but the first few days of the war showed him that he had to change. Or he was just like the Dark Lily. And they could not be forgiven. Oracle learned to like the Urban Unity, assisting with their duties at times, out of place for a Nightjade commander. Oracle is considered a seer Pokemon.

Oracle is a wise Pokemon, and has respect for Juno,Habira and Prophet. Oracle is in a way a laid back Pokemon, and he loves to be in the fray of combat, alongside his troops. Oracle prefers to get the job done his way, rather than the way of others, however, he will ultimately follow the orders of his superior

Background:
Oracle has not been alive for fiftyeight years, having been killed by Urban Unity soldiers when he was fifty. Oracle had led a somewhat hermit life, hence his name Oracle. He used to give prophecies to Pokemon that came from far and wide to seek out his prophecies, though he did make it clear if it was a very very big thing he would not reveal it.

Oracle had seen the prophecy of doom, and kept it to himself, however, rumour managed to spread of Oracle holding a deep dark secret, and Urban Unity wanted to know it. A dozen soldiers arrived at Oracle's camp near Snowpoint City, demanding he reveal the secret. He refused, and was cut down. His orb was shattered in the process, and revealed a magical stone that had long been exposed to Oracle. The Urban Unity soldiers left Oracle's camp, displeased with the loss of the secret, but they had been ordered to kill if he refused.

Oracle was brought back to life, but not physically. His body was enveloped in the bright flash of light from the stone, and when the light subsided his body was no more, and he was a floating mass of energy, he did not know. Oracle found himself in another realm, where he met Prophet.

Prophet had been in the realm for at least several hundred years, he was of course, the ruler of the realm. The Prophet and Oracle befriended each other, and Oracle expressed his desire to return to the world, which the Prophet could do, but only by destroying his own world. Somewhat distraught over the possible loss of a friend and his world, Prophet secluded himself from Oracle.

Oracle decided to convince Prophet, by revealing a fact. Prophet did not need the dark, empty realm that he called home. There was a large world filled with many Pokemon, many wonderous things, awaiting him. Thus persuaded, Prophet destroyed his otherworld, and the two awoke in the Pokemon world. The two decided to travel together, and became revered as the Pokemon that could not be harmed, mainly to the fact that whenever they got attacked, it was by idiotic Urban Unity troops, or Urban Unity deserters, thinking they were spies or something.

Oracle revealed to Prophet of a coming war, of a disaster that would spark the war, of the massive loss of lives, and Prophet was distraught. He wanted to help. Oracle told him all about Urban Unity, and their technology and machines, which Prophet distasted heavily, hating how they had lost their purity. Oracle then told him all about Nightjade, and though they officially did not join the army of Nightjade, Oracle was given command of 300 Pokemon, a strike team of Nightjade elites, prepared to do anything.

It turned out Oracle had been gone for 58 years, and the war had begun. Oracle participated in the capture of Minacen, and the destruction of Cyan Bay. Oracle without hesitation agreed to the Alliance, and proceeded to rush to the aid of Juno and his forces at Snowpoint City. They were then attacked by Xy, and Oracle led his troops to hold off Xy's forces whilst the refugees escaped. Once their job was done, the forces retreated. Oracle discovered that Juno had fallen, and was angered, however he knew that to fall into anger would be pointless.

Other:Oracle has a staff made out of the same energy as his current body, which can be used as a physical weapon.
Oracle is unaffected by the move Psychic, as he has no form of which to be lifted.

Name: Prophet
Gender: Male
Age: ???(He has been in the living realm for 5 years, but as far as that, nothing is known as he existed in his own realm for his life)
Species: Castform->Fog Electric/Water
Faction: Alliance

Description:
Prophet is 6 foot 5 inches, but has no ultimately physical body, much like Oracle. Prophet is actually unknown as to what Pokemon he is, as he is one of a kind, and lived in his own realm his entire life, until 5 years prior to the current time. Prophet's body is just a mist really, however his "arms", "legs" and "head" all appear physical, however projecticles will just faze through him.

Personality: Prophet is a wise, sage-like Pokemon. Prophet is a fiery fellow, known by Oracle to have great extents of anger, however he keeps it easily under control. Prophet is a mysterious Pokemon, only Oracle truly knowing what he is like. Prophet is a strategic master, and is not one to be messed with.

Prophet is a majestic Pokemon, and is not one to back down, much like his comrades. Prophet is one to keep thoughts to himself, and expresses himself if need be. Prophet has a deep respect for Oracle, the two having travelled together for the last 5 years. Prophet is a fearsome sight on the battlefield, his presence fear-bringing thanks to the lack of physical weaponry able to harm him.

Background: Prophet's history is fairly unknown, no-one knowing truly about his past. All that is known he has expressed to Oracle alone. Prophet spent his entire life in his realm, controlling it, moving through it, the time passing by unknown to Prophet.

Prophet and Oracle joined the realm of the living, the two joining the Nightjade forces under Oracle's recommendations. Prophet followed the commands of Oracle, not questioning him once. Prophet rescued Oracle at Minacen with reinforcements from Eastedge, and secured the city. The duo, accompanied by Aux, led an attack on Cyan Bay, destroying the city, before moving to aid the Alliance forces at Victakan Plains.

They protected the refugees, before reluctantly pulling back. Prophet,Aux and Habira began planning straight away about the counterattack against the New Lily forces, and a plan may be about to be put into action.

Other: A sword made purely out of electrical energy, but acts like a normal blade.

Name: Thunderfang

Gender: Female

Age: 11

Species:
Pachirisu ~> Shadow Pachi (Bad at making names...)

Description: The pachirisu is considered short, standing two feet, bigger than a normal pachirisu. She weighs only 9 pounds, also heavier than a normal pachirisu, her thick pelt causing the extra 4 ounces. Thunderfang has jet black fur replacing a pachirisu's normal snow white pelt, making it easier to blend in with the shadows. She has a normal pachirisu's ear and stripe color, blue. her electrical cheeks are blue, creating blue sparks from time to time. The front and back paws of Thunderfang are blue, lighter than the ones on her tail and ears.

Her spikes on the tail disappeared, making it flat. The curl of her tail lessened, making it straighter than normal. Her pachirisu tail shortened a bit, not quite as long as a normal pachirisu's. There are sky blue diagonal markings on her back, glowing slightly, making it seem like an shiny umbreon's markings. There is also more fur on her cheeks than electric pachirisu's, furrier too.

The shadow pachirisu wears a 'necklace' which is basically just a black thread hung around her neck. On the end of this black thread, a blue thunder-shaped necklace is attached. It glows faintly all the time but only when on the pachirisu. She found it just lying on the floor and something urged her to pick it up and keep it.

Personality: Thunderfang is a loner, tending to stay away from other pokemon. She likes to be alone, not really liking to work in a team, but knows if she has too, eventually giving in. The pachirisu hates when others call her 'cute' or 'adorable', those are her least favorite words. Thunderfang is cold to pokemon she just met sometimes getting uneasy as you approach her. After getting used to your company, she might act a little colder than usual, attacking more often.

When you insult the pachirisu, she's unpredictable. Sometimes she completely ignores your insult and other times she just explodes. When she does explode, sparks fly from her cheeks, ready to zap you from your electricity. Discharge is her favorite move, along with Shadow Claw and Shadow Ball. Thoses are the moves she most likely will use against you. Another way she reacts is to just insult you back. This is when she isn't extremely mad and unbothered.

Thunderfang ignores the world when sad. A darker aura seems to surround her. When you come close, you can catch her muttered to herself, when you touch or make contact, she'll growl and snap at you, quite moody. Sometimes she will use swift, knowing it is not a powerful move but will hit you, unless you use dig. The pachirisu can be heard sighing when said, often sarcastic when addressing you.

In a happy mood, the pachirisu seems open and carefree, lazing about. She likes to play around, pull little pranks on you. Sometimes she's even known to laugh, which is unusual for Thunderfang. But things can easily ruin her mood, like being called nicknames she hates (example: Fangy, Sliver, Darkie).

If you're a friend of Thunderfang's, she lets you see her real emotions, making her easy to read like an open book. If she trusts you a lot and feels like she can put her life in your paws or hands, the pachirisu will protect you, maybe even risking her life. This happens to very little pokemon, it is pretty hard to gain her trust, also very hard to keep. If she feels you're betraying her, showing signs of doubt, she'll ignore you and act a cold towards you.

Enemies of this pachirisu might want to look above yourself. The pachirisu will attack recklessly against an enemy, especially one hated. Her eyes might change from a icy cold blue to a blood red color, attacking fiercely. Thunderfang is more likely to attack from above than from the ground when trees are there. Being a squirrel pokemon, she's skilled in the trees, able to creep silently towards you, careful not the make a sound until she decides to pounce.

Background: As an egg she had rolled away from her parents, eventually hatching alone. The pachirisu has learned to care for herself. Being born in the forest, she had looked at other pokemon for help. When they ignored her, this created her shy nature, although she got rid of it later in her life. This also gave her very little self-confidence, making Thunderfang feel low, unworthy of having good friends.

Later when she was older, she got used to the cold treatment, adapting the personality herself. When encountering pokemon younger than her, the life flashed in front of her eyes, making her nicer towards them. Living in the forest, she learned that food was scarce, especially in a crowed forest and in winter. Gather food when avalible, never goof off if you don't have much food left.

When she was a normal pachirisu, she encountered a umbreon, the first pokemon actually nice towards her. She seemed to like the idea of being a dark type pokemon, wanting to evolve into one later in her life. So she did, finding a dusk stone with her friend after a week. Suddenly a quick fight occured, a electabuzz wanting to stone too. Thunderfang blinked and was willing to offer the stone to him, although the umbreon was not so quick to give it to him. Midnight, the umbreon, growled and told Thunderfang to run with the stone, evolving into a dark type when she was sure no one was following her. So she followed her friends instructions. Thunderfang waited for a day, but Midnight didn't return. Creeping back to the place where she found the dusk stone, she saw her friend at the brink of death. Watching in horror, the pachirisu saw her friend die, making hatred and anger blaze inside of her.

Other: Thunderfang carries a dagger between the curl of her tail and is quite skilled with it. This seems so short.... sealed.gif

QUOTE(Neo Pikachu @ Oct 4 2010, 12:46 PM) *
Juno looks like this upon infection. IF he gets infected. :P

Ohoho, is that a challenge?

Name: Matryo
Gender: Female
Age: 20 (and she doesn't act it)
Species: Shuppet [Infected]

Description: Matryo’s body underwent a fairly intriguing change with the infection. Her body, generally speaking, looks normal; the Shuppet structure is still quite present, even if her skin is green and her horn seems to have turned into bark. However, once you get more towards the bottom of her body, the change becomes quite evident. It looks as though the infection went up inside her hollowed-out body, taking root and growing downward. The result is something of a hanging garden, with stems and flowers and vines growing downward out of her body and then curving upward towards the light. The vines, in particular, are actually controllable, and can serve as really clumsy hands in a time of emergency.

While with her fellow cultists, she wears the standard-issue robe, but in battle she’s taken to wearing a piece of black cloth with the Shadow Lily’s symbol on it around her neck like a scarf or cape. Otherwise, there’s no particular need for clothes, what with her oddity of a body structure.

Personality: Matryo’s not the sort of Pokemon you’d expect to defy a “keep off the grass” sign, let alone join a sinister cult trying to take over the world with infectious flowers. She seems, for all intents and purposes, childish and happy; not a single Pokemon has seen her depressed, and her goal in life seems to be trying to keep others’ spirits up as well. (There’s no fooling her, either, thanks to Shuppets’ infallible appetite for spite and malice.) Her optimistic nature can make her very oblivious; in fact, it’s not uncommon for her to be humming a happy tune in the middle of blood and carnage.

If that sounds a bit insane, you’re right. Matryo, while not, perhaps, completely over the edge, is most certainly soaking her feet in the deep end (if she had feet, anyway). She’s just too happy, too naďve, too oblivious to be all that grounded in reality. This actually makes her rather dangerous; although she’s always cheerful (and, for the most part, genuinely does want to please people), she cannot really be reasoned with when she has her mind stuck on something, because even if you make a legitimate case to her she’ll selectively ignore it. Also, happy doesn’t mean good, really; she’ll spare infidels on a whim if they’re interesting to her, but she’s certainly devoted enough to the Dark Lily to kill anyone who opposes them. However, she generally considers killing icky, a waste of perfectly good recruit material, and, most of all, directly opposed to her philosophy of spreading joy around; if it's avoidable, she'll avoid it, but if it's not, she'll go right ahead and then get over it quickly with some hasty rationalization.

Being a Shuppet, she feeds off negative emotions; however, she also finds emotions absolutely fascinating in their own right, from fury to joy to suicidal depression. Nonetheless, she rather prefers the happy ones despite her diet, hence her neverending quest to cheer people up. It makes one wonder, then, why she would support the Dark Lily, but the answer is quite simple: propaganda. She’s been taught to believe that what she’s doing is for the good of the world. Plus, being part of a dark, secret club is just so exciting and fun, right?

A chaotic neutral, in the end, but she'll probably find her way to Sovinto should worse come to worse.

Background: Ghost-types, in general, prefer to stay on the edge of society rather than get too involved in other Pokemon’s business; it’s an outsider nature that tends to follow things like being the vengeful spirit of an abandoned doll or having a reputation for spiriting children away to Murhe. Matryo’s parents were no exception and, indeed, were quintessential Ghost-types, floating around in the dead of night in Cyan Bay to go look for an emotional Pokemon to feed on. Matryo followed this pattern (although she didn’t stay with her parents long; Shuppets were expected to break off from their parents rather quickly), growing more and more fascinated with these feelings of envy, malice, and every other undesirable emotion imaginable. Her interest was all the more amplified by the fact that she, herself, hardly ever felt these emotions, and when she did it was so fleeting it was like it’d never happened at all.

Over time her fixation only deepened. Who were these Pokemon, who felt such dark, depressing emotions on such a regular basis? Why? Were their lives really this bad, or did they just have a predisposition to call the glass half-empty and their lives miserable? The questions reached a fever pitch when, moving to the site of a massive wave of fury and hysteria, she witnessed one Pokemon murdering another. Although oblivious to many things, this rather disturbed Matryo; were emotions so powerful? At that moment she made the decision to try and eradicate negative emotions in as many people as she could, since they seemed to cause nothing but angst and trouble; after all, if she was born with hardly a shred of angst in her, how hard could it be to convert others to that philosophy?

The idea of purging was precisely why the outbreak excited her so much. Here was something new, something interesting, and most importantly, something which had explicit purifying power. Cyan Bay was hit hard by the flowers, and Matryo had become a greener Shuppet before nightfall. But why was everyone so worried? Wasn’t this good, these flowers cropping up and giving everyone the power to purify? Why, if everyone just stopped worrying and called this a good thing, it’d be fine! It’s all in the attitude, right?

Fortuitously, a cutting-edge religion was springing up in Cyan Bay that had exactly the same thoughts as her about Shaymin. Her indoctrination into the ranks of the Shadow Lily was a quick affair, what with her being so very eager to spread this new blessing wherever she could. After joining, she happened upon a few friends of sorts. There was Argon, a silent and serious Graveler who, while constantly annoyed by Matryo’s attitude, has more or less the same thoughts about the Shaymin infection and finds himself rather drawn to her cheery nature. There was also, at one point, a neurotic Kecleon named Jikio and a bitter Luxray named Fang, but both of them died over the years (Jikio by Alliance forces while he was trying to surrender and Fang by Alliance forces when he pushed himself beyond his limit); though Matryo was rather sad at their passing, she moved on quickly.

Early in her Dark Lily career, Matryo was more or less in charge of a sneak attack on Minacen, wherein her and the twenty or so cultists under her command spread pollen through the city under the cover of night. The mission was a massive success, with Minacen completely infected by the end of the next day; the riots and civil warring that resulted was an unintentional side-effect, one which Matryo wasn't happy about, but her superiors loved it. She was put in charge of more missions because, despite her bizarre nature, she had an odd charm about her and could be surprisingly sharp when she wanted to be. Plus, Argon served as a fairly effective foil to her loopiness, keeping her plans from getting too convoluted.

Before long, Matryo was climbing the ranks; now she's a commander of sorts, though usually only in covert or diplomatic missions (which is not to say she can't fight). Also, she actually isn't a Deeply Infected; it was decided that being a Deeply Infected would completely neuter her for negotiating, and, however disappointed, she had to agree. People who thought being infected was scary were stupid, in her opinion, but if she can convince people without killing them, she's all aboard.

Other: Argon, as a counterpart to Matryo, is a serious and rational Graveler (infected with moss, naturally). Of course, sanity is relative: he sees the Shaymin outbreak the same way Matryo does and doesn’t shy away from killing anyone who questions it. He gets annoyed with Matryo on a regular basis thanks to their opposite personalities, but they’re actually fairly good friends.

Also, I find it amusing that most of the Dark Lily rationalization in the info looks like Matryo's rationalization. Guess that's what happens when you're the only genuine RPer on a faction.

Hey, just an interesting idea. Most characters who go to Murhe or Sovinto retain their allegiance to their side. I'm certain that while some would return to the world of the living, others would attempt to convert the afterlife itself. I was thinking of a situation where the casualties from Center Lake have spilled into the two realms, and now the realms of the deceased have been thrown into chaos from faction warfare. Basically, Sovinto itself becomes a warzone, with both side trying to control the regions so they can punish their enemies and reward their allies. It would probably need more development, but I think it would be cool. So, can we try it?

Hilariously enough, I discussed the idea of infecting the afterlife realms via a Deeply Infected dying and going there with Neo and he admitted it'd be possible. Generally speaking, though, I think the Alliance would severely outnumber the Dark Lily in Sovinto and vice-versa in Murhe, so it wouldn't be much of a contest.

I still like the basic idea, though. Tensions between the two sides ought to still remain in the afterlife realms, especially Murhe.

Yep, I'm cool with that. That would be pretty interesting indeed.

And Larvinator is right, having infection start in the afterlife realms would also put an interesting spin on things.

NES, the thing is, there hasn't been any conflict between the Alliance and Dark Lily since the death of Juno... The Alliance having been gathering troops and equipment for the past 4 years.

However, there would likely be conflict in Sovinto+Muhre, but no significant change thus far... Because we actually never mentioned how time in Sovinto/Muhre acts in contrast to Talandra. 4 years could be minutes in Sovinto/Muhre..

Can we get some redone maps and plot-additions maybe? After all, the whole mess started about 6-9 months ago in the RP, so a lot of the factional warfare in the afterlife should have started by now, along with infection. Plus, I like your maps. =)

Well, first thing is we haven't really decided on how this all played out. I'll gladly make updates to the maps, but let's first decide on what actually happened. Truthfully, I was thinking of having afterlife infection only just begin to start in this RP, not make it full fledged already.

Also, Kaioo, what you said about no conflict after Juno's death isn't actually true. Considering how much the Dark Lily has swept through the eastern side of the world, it can be assumed there's definitely been conflict. Also, just for consistency, it might be better if Sovinto and Murhe were on the same clock as Talandra.

That is true Neo cat.gif I presumed there hadn't been significant conflict as in big battles cat.gif That is true Neo happy.gif Also, now for my 2 cents. The infecting the after life would be a good idea, but how exactly would it become infected? I would presume- though correct me if I'm wrong- that there would be something in Sovinto making sure everything remains all peaceful, beautiful looking, so on, and something in Muhre making sure nothing changes there either...

YAY! I'll post pics of Crysanthemum later. Are we still in Sovinto, or are we out? I will be starting out out of it, considering Crysanthemum was wanting to leave as soon as possible.

Name: Crysanthemum

Gender: Female

Age: 25 (Her birthday will be on the start of the RP on my First post. grin.gif )

Species: Zepfloreon (Leafeon Advanced EVO. Check DESKRIPTION for appearence. When my scanner starts working, I'll upload a pic. grin.gif )

Faction: Alliance

Description: Crysanthemum's appearence has changed dramaticly over her evolution upon returning from Sovinto. The Shiny Stone Juno had given her a while back has compleatly turned her into a flying grass type. She is lucky to have been a Leafeon, as now she can venture into Infected area's without being affected. Her tan and brown colouring has faded to pure white. The leaf on her fore-head is still green, but has fallen and is covouring her right eye. Her tail has turned from leaf to paint-brush like, black tipped, wolf tail. Feathery wings have sprouted from her back, and her brown eyes have turned green. She now has red markings and the leaves on her legs have turned into wing-like objects. There is one on each foot, and a very long one on both her shoulders. Her ears have also changed from Leaves, and are now long eevee like ears. Click here for referance of red markings and extra flight wings. They are NOT the exact same in my pic, but will do for now untill I can upload mine.

Personality: A kind hearted, forgiving, loving Pokemon. Crysanthemum is very kind, but sad inside. She constantl puts on a smile just to covour up her sadness. Unfortunetly, because of her death, Crysanthemum has a deep hate for Xy, and wants revenge ever so badly. When she is mad, her red markings will glow like an Umbreon's.

Background: Crysanthemum, poor soul, had been terrorized as a yound eevee. Her parents were wonderful, yes, her childhood decent. She has evolved a Leafeon, making her parents very proud of her.. but when she led them into the infected feild, the infection drove them crazy. They commited Suicide, right infront of their helpless child's eyes. Crysanthemum couldn't fathom how she could live... she was now trapped in Synmax, and was in grave danger in this Nightjade territory. In great eagerness, Crysanthemum radio'd to the Zeppelin, a red cross aircraft, and was resqued by it's crew who helped her back to her old workshop.

When Crysanthemum was radio'd into Center-lake, she had gotten into a lot of danger. Her current enemy, Xy, had ripped her plane to shreds, forcing her to fly on her glider. Then she met Juno, a Serachu, who attacked her glider, sending it into a downword spiral to death. Crysanthemum Countered by slicing his wings with her sword titaled Kusunagi. She was killed upon impact, of course, and went through a strange new adventure.

Once in Sovinto, Crysanthemum met up with her parents who put their souls into her trinket that she wears around her neck. This is made up of a wood carving of an Umbreon, and Espeon, and a Leafeon. Her parent's beings are embedded in the trinket. Upon her escape, Crysanthemum was back into war. She attacked Juno, only for the attacks to be blocked. She went to the Zeppelin, then went back to Juno to help the pact. She herself got him onto her Glider, and they soared off into the current location to pact together.

When battle returned by Xy, Hisoto, and the Dark-lily, Crysanthemum tought Juno how to use the glider and a machene gun. They both went back into battle, as Crysanthemum's jet has been brought back on her revival. She and Juno fought Hisoto and sucsessfully killed him. Then Xy joined the Dark-lily, causing the forces to become the Newlily. Crysanthemum, in a misunderstanding, tryed to protect Juno from attack of the Newlily, and got all of them killed in her stupidity. On her second arriaval to Sovinto, Crysanthemum was shown that JUno didn't trust her any more. Crysanthemum then confessed her love to Juno, thanking him for the evolutionary stone he had given her during war. She now strives to help Juno, and regain his trust. She still hops he will forgive her.

Other: Scroll below. This is the way to Maximus' entry

Name: ( General ) Maximus Decimus Meridius ( Just call him Maximus. I will state his full name on the header, though. )

Gender: Male

Age: 46.... lol he's old.

Species: Arcanine

FactionL Alliance

Description: Maximus Pic
Maximus' colouring is like any other Arcanine. Orange with yellow fire-like fur. His appearence is tiger-like, and very strong. He is Very Muscular, and is able to pull two large boulders. On his right Shoulder lays a tatoo that says "S.P.Q.R.". He stands 9'10" from the shoulders. He weighs about 575.6 lbs. His fur is very soft and bright. I dont know what else to write....

Personality: Maximus is a very calmb, gentle giant. He lacks the ablility to want revenge, and would rather ask questions and make friends, before even coming close to killing poeple. He dislikes war, and beleives that the Factions should put aside their differances and be friends. Oddly enough, However, he does beleive that the NightJade where the ones to cause the infection, but does not hold it against them. He finds it only a way to help them. In a way, he is a bit bitter, and unwilling to trust those who try and kill anyone he has close to his heart. His IQ is about the same as Crysanthemums, being around 500. He happens to like using swords and arrows, and other non electronic devices to attack. His moves that he has learned is: Flamethrower, Overheat, Dig, and Protect.

Background: Maximus, at birth, was told he was ment to be something great. His godmother told his parents that something would happen to change his life... to make him a great pokemon. As time passed on, he was taught the way of the warrior, and the way of a gentle farmer. He got used to tending to crops, or cutting his pawpads trying to sharpen his swords. He practised with his most prized siver/gold ore sword that his Father had gotten for him. All in all, Maxinus' childhood was poor. He learned to be grateful for what he had, which was very little. He learned that not everything was in reach, and that not everyone would help you reach your goal. But one day, being 20, Maximus was tired of being a Growlith. So, as a result, he saved every penny of Poke he got for his work. He would set up his own garden full of berrys and herbal medicine. He helped get the protine or zinc. And over the time of 12, he got enough poke to buy a fire-stone, his lifelong dream. He evolved into a Arcanine the instant his paws touched the stone. He was no longer a Growlithe... he was a mighty Arcanine.
After Getting married to a beautiful arcanine woman, and having their very own pup, a boy, Maximus was called to be a general in war. He faught war after war for 10 more years before he got terrible news. His family had been murdered by his own Faction, Urban Unity. He returned instantly to find them crusified, their rancid rotting bodies hung up for all to see. How, just how, in Arceus' name could he live? After mourning for 4 more years, Maximus moved to Center Lake city which now lay in crumbles, forcing him to move on.

Well, at least Dark Lily has the upper-hand regarding pretty much everything. Hopefully that'll be enough despite our severe shortage of RPers.

I'll post Maeto up later, I'm pretty busy today and tomorrow. When's the RP scheduled to kick off?

That's fine, now's the best time to create a new character. And don't worry about the last RP either.

Pokabu is fine, along with any other B/W Pokemon. There's enough info on Serebii now to put them into action.

I was thinking of starting it up later today.

As for the Dark Lily, yes, they do have the advantage because I was kind of expecting more people to jump on the Alliance side.

Banette attack!

Name: Chaobu
Gender: Male
Age: 12
Species: Chaobu
Faction: Alliance

Description: He looks like a normal Chaobu from the left. However; if you look at his right side, you will see an infection flower. But do not worry, it has been drawn on. He has a Bag on his back, which has gadgets. These gadgets are

a tape recorder, put in a Flower shaped Box. The 'markings' on the flower are actually the, Play, Rewind, Fast Forward, Record, and Stop buttons.

A packet of colouring pencils, with the colours of the shaymin flowers.

A Smoke Bomb, to confuse enemies if they find out who he is.

A picture of his Mother and Father.

A Gun with Ammo.

Personality: When he is in disguise, he is just as 'evil' as people in the Dark Lily. But he is actually really kind and caring. When things go wrong, he panics and you can tell, because he begins to squeal, like a pig. When angry, he snorts like a pig. He loves to eat, so you'll always see him holding food in his hand.

Background: Chaobu was born in Brownrock City, with his mum and dad. But because of the Dark Lily attack, they moved to Kuran. Pokabu wanted to stop the Dark Lily, so he was first in a Squadron of Fire Types an army squad but because of the terror and madness of fighting, he decided to become a spy for the Alliance. He was sent to Snowpoint City; to spy on a Dark Lily member called Gem.
