Tentacool in Ruby. I thought it was glitched... and proceeded to turn off my game.

After that, I got to the Lake of Rage in Gold and caught shiny Gyarados.

My first Shiny was a Paras that I found in Leaf Green. I still have him, he's a Parasect now though. Actually I have most Shinies that I want thanks to chaining but a Dialga or a Torchic would be a nice addition.

Excluding Red Gyarados, I think my first shiny was a random Shiny Graveler I found in Mt. Silver in my Silver file. I was going to battle Red again, but I forgot to put on some Repel. Low and behold, a wild Pokemon appeared, and it was a shiny Graveler. I was afraid that it would explode before I caught it, but I managed to snag it on the first try with an Ultra Ball. Next is probably my Shiny Zigzagoon from Sapphire that I randomly found when searching for Latias :/

In ruby I ran into a shiny zigzagoon which I caught with my last pokeball but in general my first shiny was (not counting red gyarados) was a shiny magmar I caught back in silver..

If I remember correctly, my first shiny was a Zigzagoon in Ruby. I figured that it was something cool, so I caught it. Now it's my Pickup slave. :D

I've always wanted Charizard though, so I traded myself a shiny Charamander. Haven't raised it yet even. DX

The only ever shiny I've caught in the games (without cheats =P) was a Poochyena on Emerald.

And then my sister came along and restarted the game. But to this day, she remains convinced that it was her who caught the golden Poochy (yeah, right. Emerald was MY game XD).

It was a Silcon or cascoon, i don't remember which...
but it was on my Emerald ROM and my computer died and the rom file was deleted XO
but for actual cartridge games, the red gyarados in Crystal or the odd egg from which I got my Igglybuff of DEATH
Buut, then my battery died and i had to replace it. no more Iglybuff of death

The first shiny I ever received from someone else was a shiny Sableye.
