Depends of if you like the legendary that it can summon. If you do keep it until it's relatively calm on the site. If not just sell it and get the items you like.

If you want something like the itemfinder or amulet coin sell it.

If I ever get lucky enough to find a Treasure chest I'm going to go ahead and risk using it in hopes of getting my egg. Hopefully the people stalking the lab at the time will be as inept as I am. XD Unless of course the item I get is for something I already have (Palkia and Cresselia.) Or something I despise....*cough*Heatran*cough*

I've learned this the hard way...I got two treasure chests in two days and missed both. T.T It was Palkia and Groudon! I like those legends! T.T That 5 minute thing? Doesn't work. It only takes a minute.
 I would sell the treasure first, so I could get the itemfinder, and then I would find treasure chests more often so I could get the other two expensive upgrades. -------------------- A huuuuge fan of Gwanom from the Zelda CDI series. |

Sold the one I found, bought a item finder with it, have since bought the Amulet coin also (was getting close to being able to afford one when I got the chest) next chest I get I'll probably sell for the Scope and a couple evo items, after that I'll start using em. only expensive thing left would be Repels so not much point stocking up on mass amounts of points.

It depends. If you have a slow connection, I'd sell it. Then... what's your preference? I don't like Kyogre and I already have a Heatran, so I'd never use a Blue Orb or Magma Rock. The others, though, I'd use asap.

It depends one how lucky you can see more treasure chest so I would save the orb in case you might not find more or you have a full party.
