I think the worst thing that could happen is just before you fight the first elite four you remember you've been egg hatching just before and have a team of level 1 baby pokemon.

When you enter the elite four, save, and find out that your pokemon are underleveled. Happened to me once.

Well, I guess it's time to fire up my imagination..
You go to beat the Elite Four, trained hard and ready with items, and when you send out your first Pokemon, it's a Level 3 baby Pokemon that was recently hatched. You then take a look at your party, noticing that you have only one other Level 3 Pokemon, and the rest are babies. Shocked and confused, you do the first thing you think of - You ask your younger sibling if they were playing on your Pokemon game. Being a spoiled younger sibling, he/she gets angry for no reason and slaps you. But, they hit your DS instead of you for some reason, and the game has popped out. Amazingly, the game didn't freeze, and you want to turn off your game to charge it and get your Pokemon. But, the power goes out. If you turn off the game, you will not be able to turn the game back on because the power just went out, and you won't be able to charge it anymore, even though the DS only has 5% of it's battery left. All the Elite Four's Pokemon turn into Bad Eggs, and screw up your game. The DS runs out of battery. A couple days later, you can play the DS again, but learn that through all the Bad Eggs, your save data get corrupted, so you have to start ALL OVER. You then realize that your younger sibling had released all of your Pokemon to get revenge on you for humiliating him/her in front of their friends. Finally, your parents ground you for 2 weeks because of something bad you did. I'm sorry, and I don't want to be narcissistic or anything, but did ANYONE see mine?! It's INCREDIBLE and I took a lot of time to think of it that I could have been doing something else!!!

 That is the worst of the worst case scenarios.I'm having Elite Four problems right now in Black. I just had to fork up ALL of my money to that Shauntal chick. The ghost type user...and to top it off, my healing items consist of 5 soda pops, 6 lemonades, 10 full restores, and 11 full heals. I got the vending machine drinks because they're cheaper...time to fire up my action replay to give me more money to buy more healing items. And level up my team some more... OH! I've got a worse case scenario! You save before you go in, and never save during the challenge. Your battery goes dead during the credits. It took you hours to finish. And a buttload of healing items. And blood, sweat, and tears. --------------------  Refresh to see another one of my favorites! I currently have 7 out of 17 types drawn...
