Now uh.. we all know about the raging Octillery banner that pops up when you block ads.
I'm just curious though. If you block ads, do you get punished in any way? Like say.. your chance of finding items is decreased or your chance of finding Manaphy/The Little Man is lowered? Just wondering, since even after the item find rates were decreased, I found quite a bit still. I wasn't blocking ads at that time. However, now I'm blocking ads and not finding anything at all. This is just something I've wondered. >>; -------------------- |

What's the point of blocking the ads :| There are lots of reasons people block ads: to reduce lag (those flash ads in particular can REALLY slow down a computer), prevent viruses from attacking your computer, (some ads lead to malicious sites) or you just don't plain like them. People are free to block or view ads as they please. -------------------- |

People are free to block or view ads as they please. My entire reasoning for blocking them is because they slow down my computer. If they didn't (like if they were the Google text ads..) I wouldn't bother. It's not just on this site that I block though. I also do it for Gaia, Neopets and other various places. -------------------- |

To answer your question, not to my knowledge. I'm pretty sure. I've been blocking ads from the beginning and I've found items.
