There's a quest that goes like this:
Find the Berry Pouch -Obtain the special Exploration item [you will randomly find it on the ground in the same Manner the normal items] As well "find the ground"? Which floor? how do I find normal items? |

You'll get a banner below the header saying you've found the item

You will find the item randomly, either while clicking or waiting for it.
You'll know you found the item because you'll see a banner that says "you found x item" or something among the lines. |

Every time you load a page, there is a chance to find the item. Just waiting will do nothing; you have to visit pages.
After a certain amount of time (I don't know exactly how long, but it's less than a day), you'll automatically get it if you haven't already found it. -------------------- |

I'm pretty sure it's 24 hours after you get the task you'll automaticly find it if you haven't already.
Theres a pass power you can use to increase the probability of finding the exploration item if you want to speed things up. Really though, I typically just continue to click normally and tend to find exploration items pretty quickly even without using any powers, often within the first hour or so of getting the task. Mass clicking tends to result in a lot of page loads, hence it's pretty efficient for finding items. |
