Seeing as we already have Sweet Honey that makes Shiny Pokémon more likely to appear...
Would it be possible to have a similar item for genders? Like if you needed a certain gender, you'd just use Male Pheromone (for females) or Female Pheromone (for males) in the Shelter. :/ The item should obviously be as rare and hard to find as Sweet Honey. *shrug* PS. And before you go nagging at me that this makes the game too easy, you need to remember that the Pokémon a person wants might never even pop up in the Shelter during that day. :l This post has been edited by Raiden: Nov 25 2010, 01:56 PM -------------------- |

But wouldn't this just get rid of all the % regarding male/female pokemon. For example all the starters have 87,5% chance of being male and only 12.5% of being female and I don't see why we need an item to make it easier to get a certain gender. If you want a certain gender just keep hatching eggs, in my opinion.

Uh, sweet honey does not make shiny Pokémon more likely to appear; it just shows you all the Pokémon that are available in the shelter that you are shiny hunting, basically.

If it did like sweet honey it would just show all eggs of one pokemon which would be pointless as that is all sweet honey does. If the item could be used to show the gender of eggs produced in a user's daycare, it wouldn't overlap with Sweet Honey's function.
