Basically in having the problem that the video shows I am unable to get anything via mystery gift and unless I have the Veunsaur! C gear Skin and Starter Pals dex skin the same error happens over global link any idea how to fix it anyone?

What system are you using. If it is a 3ds, the error code from Nintendo comes back with this:
http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/wfc/en_na/ds/results.jsp?error_code=31020&system=3DS&locale=en_US

If it is not a 3ds, I cannot seem to find information for the DSi, Lite or XL.

Does this only happen with Pokemon, or with other WFC games?
