Name: Catfish Sitoko (Cat-fish Sih-toe-koe)

Appearance:
He has Tan-ish pale skin, and short brown hair with blue highlights. His eye color is unknown, as they're usually hidden under his headgear. His bucket is full of Poffins and Poke Blocks which he gives to his Pokemon if they achieved something, such as learning a new move or helping solve a puzzle. He's fairly tall, around 7'3" and is malnourished, as he barely eats on his long travels.
He usually wears his purplish-pink outfit, and a bandanna over his eyes for unknown reasons. He has blue shorts and always carries a bucket full of Poffins and Poke Blocks.
Personality: He is really quiet. It seems the only time he talks is when giving commands to his Pokemon, along with congratulating them. He also prefers to be called Cat. Even though he seems mean, he's actually really nice, and will protect anyone who he sees as a friend, as well as any Pokemon, including those who belong to enemies. He is also a rookie breeder, as he has many baby Pokemon at his home in Slateport, under the care of his mom. He likes bug, normal and water typed Pokemon, but dislikes fighting type Pokemon

When Catfish was young, he never knew his father. His father was a great sailer who, on a trip to Kanto, left Catfish under the care of his bug-loving mother, which is where he grew his love for bug types. His twin uncles usually visited to see how Cat and his mother, Sheva, were doing. They helped out with chores around the house until Cat got older, where they then taught him about Pokemon Breeding, and about all the little baby Pokemon. Cat loved these lessons, and wanted to see a baby Pokemon for himself.
One day, his uncles told him they'd seen a nest of Lucario, who had a baby Railu, both of which were pretty rare, especially in the Hoenn Region! (his uncles suspected they got lost from their trainer(s) and made a nest to live in until they were found by him/her/them) Cat got excited and bugged them to take him there to see it, and after talking it over with his mother, his uncles gave in. His uncles Wig and Clef (Wig owning a Clefable and Clef owning a Wigglytuff) set out with Cat to go see the Railu and it's parents. When they got there, both the parents were gone, and Cat's heart ran with excitement! Despite his uncles warnings, he ran up and hugged the baby Pokemon, startling it and causing it to cry out to it's parents. The parents, hearing the cry, ran to defend it's young, and seeing Catfish as a threat, roared with rage. Catfish, stunned with fear, just fell to the ground and cried. His uncles sent out their Pokemon who used their combined Sing attacks to make the two Lucario, along with the Railu, to fall asleep. Cat, who was still curled up on the ground, continued to cry out of fear of the Fighting type Pokemon. From that day, he tried to never make contact with any Fighting type, big or small, ever again.
He did, though, continue on with his studies to be a Pokemon Breeder, and continued to set out on expeditions with his uncles to see other baby Pokemon around his home
One morning, a couple years later, Catfish awoke, and did his normal morning routine. After sipping some bitter tea to wake him up, he realized today was the day he was going to get his first Pokemon! He rushed out the door, grabbing his lucky bucket full of Poffins and Pokeblocks, and ran as fast as he could to the dock, where he got a boat ride to Petalburg City, where he then made his way to Littleroot Town.
When he arrived at Littleroot, he realized he had no idea where the Pokemon Professor's lab was! He asked around, and when he did find it, no one was there... He slowly opened the door, the door itself giving a slight creaking noise, and when he got inside, he saw a counter with a bunch of Poke Balls on it, and he began to inspect each one. He noticed little plaques beneath each one and read them each.
Under the first Ball read "Caterpie, the Worm Pokemon, native to Kanto." The second one said "Ledyba, the Five Star Pokemon, native to Johto." The last two read "Nincada, the Trainee Pokemon, native to Hoenn" and "Combee, the Tiny Bee Pokemon, native to Sinnoh"
After reading each one, Cat decided to set each one free, to see what they looked like. He first set out the Caterpie, who curiously squirmed up and around Cat's leg, making him giggle. He called it back to it's Poke Ball, then set free the Ledyba, who quickly spread it's wings, and tried to fly out the window, only to be foiled by the glass. Cat found this funny, but called it back, afraid it might break the glass, or hurt itself. He called out the Nincada, which twitched its head back and forth and fluttered up to Cat's neck, nibbling at it. Cat giggled and tried to call it back. But before he could , someone dressed in all black opened the door and sneaked in, not noticing Cat, who was by now hiding under the desk with the Pokeballs on it. Nincada, who was still crawling around Cat, nibbled on that space behind the knee, making him shriek.
The man, who was helping himself to the bug Pokemon on the table, heard the shriek, and looked around for it's source. Catfish realized he may have to battle this man, so he looked in his handy little book for attacks known by Nincada, after which he crawled from under the table, with Nincada back on his shoulder, and yelled "Nincada, Scratch Attack!!!" The Nincada leaped from Cat's shoulder and scratched the man's face, who then fell to the ground. Catfish looked at the man, who wasn't actually wearing black, but instead a white lab coat that looked black from Catfishes point of view from under the table. "A lab coat...?" though Catfish, who quickly realized this man wasn't a burglar, but a scientist!
He helped the man up, and apologized for attacking him like that. "It's no worry" said the man with scruffy brown hair and a brown beard. "I'm Catfish, by the way, but call me Cat..." The scientist smiled and said, "Well, I'm Professor Birch! Nice to meet you, Cat!" Birch held out his hand for and handshake, and Cat shook it. "I've been looking for you, anyway" said Cat, "You see, I'm starting my Pokemon journey today, and I was told to come here for a Starting Pokemon. Are these bugs them?" Cat said as he pointed to the Poke Balls with the Bug Types in them. "Oh, no," said Birch, "These are for my studies. You see, most Bug Pokemon have a mysterious evolution pattern." He set free the Combee, which had a red marking on the bottom head of it's three heads. "This marking is what sets Female Combees from Males. You see, only the Females evolve, which is quite fascinating! But the Nincada... I've heard rumors, but I've never actually seen it... You see, when Nincada evolves, it's said that it's shell becomes an entirely new Pokemon!!! I've never actually seen it myself, but I was thinking that if you, a Pokemon Trainer, were to raise it up and evolve it, you would be able to get that secondary Pokemon!"
Cat stared at the Professor for a couple seconds, the said, "So, you want me to have this Pokemon? But I don't know the first thing about Nincadas!" Birch chuckled and said, "You seemed to know what you were doing when you made it attack me." Cat sighed and looked at the Nincada and said, "Looks like it's me and you, buddy..." Catfish then started for the door, when Birch quickly stopped him, "Wait!!!! Before you go, I have the perfect place for you to train! It's a place called Furoh, and there's tons of Pokemon to fight there. But, it's also very dangerous, what with that new crime organization, so I also want you to take this Pokemon as well." Birch gave Cat the Poke Ball, and when he opened it, a Nosepass came out. It hummed a bit, then stomped it's way next to Cat, where it prodded him with it's long nose. Cat chuckled and called it back to it's Poke Ball. "Call me when you find the mystery of Nincada's evolution!!!" called out the Professor. Cat nodded then ran his way back to the dock by Littleroot, his newly found friends Nincada and Nosepass at his side

Edit: There, I think those extra paragraphs were pretty good, but that's not for my saying. And I'm sorry my bio is kinda small, I had a horrid time trying to think of something to write for it Dx
