You seriously don't need all the [] things, it just makes it look weird.
First off, if it's Sapphire then you should be using a special set. At least have Leaf Blade in there. Rock Smash sucks, so consider replacing that. Thunderpunch is another decent special move, but I dunno if Sceptile can learn it without an Emerald tutor. There isn't really much else, but Leech Seed can be used to regain health and Hidden Power Electric would work if you can't get Thunderpunch. Hidden Power Ice and Fire both work as well. Also, Sceptile should be holding a Leftovers and Timid/Modest nature with 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe. Possibly a bit more HP and less Speed, but it should be pretty similar to that. -------------------- |

I got ruby, sapphire, and emerald but I need to get a trade cable 4: I don't know how to get the TM for leech seed. 5: hidden power electric/fire/ice? i've never heard of them. If you're talking about hidden power he doesn't have it yet. 6: would you like me to list his stats? and I can't get leftovers either :| 7: I have my gameboy so I can list the empty stuff. look for the edit in my post. -------------------- I'm going to redo my sig in wordpad. expect it soon.

1. Leaf Blade can be relearnt, you just need to find a Heart Scale and find the move relearner in Fallarbor.
2. wat 3. Go borrow a friend's, then. 4. Leech Seed is an egg move, I think. You'll have to breed and start over. You probably messed up on the EVs and nature anyways, so unless you want a weak Sceptile, you should do it. 5. It's Hidden Power >.> Each individual Pokemon has its own type (Fire, Ice, etc.). Hopefully your Sceptile is one of those three I listed in my previous post. 6. Leftovers can be found in that one boat that goes to Slateport/Lilycove, just check out the trash cans. 7. Empty stuff? wat -------------------- |

1: umm... could you kinda point out the move relearner's house?
2: nevermind. 3: no friends with GB 4: what does a sceptile breed with? or should i trade? 5: EDIT: sceptile has that hidden power where red orbs fly out from him. 6: that's after the E4. I still gotta do that. 7: reread my sceptile's stuff. This post has been edited by tooth69: Aug 17 2009, 04:40 PM -------------------- I'm going to redo my sig in wordpad. expect it soon.

I don't see how posting your stats would help, since I have no idea what your nature is, what IVs you have, or what EVs your Sceptile has.
....you know what, forget it. If you're not doing any competitive battling then there's really no point in posting in this thread or even forums. Pretty much anything works in-game, so you should do well enough as long as you don't try to do the Battle Tower. If you seriously want to learn, then I advise you to learn how to use Google. Most questions you just asked are answered by a very simple Google search. -------------------- |

umm... sure... It's been said that sceptile breeds with whishmur... I'm wondering...
BTW it's a brave nature. uhh... instead of asking i'll just look for the move relearner. -------------------- I'm going to redo my sig in wordpad. expect it soon.

Nickname: Royale
Species: Luxray Item: Its that coin thing that doubles the amount of money you get lvl: 50 Moves: (These may be wrong, I don't have my game with me) Crunch Bite (which may have been changed, I can't remembor Thunder Fang Discharge Okay, I'm very proud of Royale (Roy-allll). I caught him as a lvl 3 in platium. I'm going to be using him, my very powerful torterra (F, Iyanne), my very helpful Manaphy (M, Prince) and my beloved Lucario (M, Vyi) to battle the final gym leader (electric). Any advice you have for me? I can give you the other's info if you want. EDIT: Woops, forgot: I also have a giratina I'm going to be using This post has been edited by Berry Eon: Aug 19 2009, 02:09 AM |

For in-game purposes, any Pokemon should work against the final gym leader. Obviously, you would need to be levelled properly. I think 50 is fine.
I would replace Discharge with Thunderbolt, and replace Bite with something else since Crunch is infinitely better and you should never use Bite instead of Crunch whenever possible anyways. -------------------- |

Probably Waterfall or Earthquake? You really need an attacking move.

(click to show ) Creditzzz (click to show ) Quotezz: QUOTE The yellow bumbler tried everything he could, short annoying gags and hurtful insults, but the triple changer was just not switching to either is blue or red face. So instead Bumblebee asked for a couple of games to play with the Decepticon to see if losing would make any difference. Chari Species: Glascor Item: Black Glasses Narure: Rash Moves: Night slash Sword Dance Fire Fang Poison Jab i see no ev's, but gliscor should at least get earthquake, for heavy stab and leftovers due to his high defence, poison jab is totally useless, if you want to poison, get toxic. night slash covers nothing, you could get ice fang, because a salamence or dragonite can set up on you and kick you hard. fire fang is okay for ice. -------------------- |

Swords Dance or Roost could also be useful, for either more power or more bulkiness. Fire Fang isn't really all that useful.

Swords Dance or Roost could also be useful, for either more power or more bulkiness. Fire Fang isn't really all that useful. my psp ran out of posting space, but what i mean is that fire fang is okeyish, the good thing is that it can take care of ice types, but overall, is too weak, i like to run this set on my sandstorm team: Leftovers HyperCutter (i use the other one, but that is cause it is a sandstorm team) 252HP, 252 Def, 6 Spd Earthquake Toxic Roost Swords dance i just poison the enemy, with his defenses, i go earthquake/roost. and een if the opponnent switches when he sees gliscor, they never send a steel type (except the ocasional bold user of lucario and skarmory, which is this set's nightmare.) this other set is quite funny too: jolly 252 HP / 40 Def / 216 Spe knock off toxic roost taunt people bashed me when i used this, i taunt the enemy, knock off their items, poison them, and then i procceed to heal myself, mixed with trying to predict the enemy when he will switch with randomly thrown taunts, they have to choose between losing their stat ups (and possibly their items) or keep stalling my roosts, this also opens up to many offensive switches while the enemy is taunted, as are SDscizor and DDtar This post has been edited by Dar Ksereth: Sep 23 2009, 11:53 AM -------------------- |

Tyranitar
Item: Hard Stone I don't know what its EVs are. -Earthquake -Rock Slide -Hyper Beam -Crunch I currently have this guy on Emerald but I might bring him to 4th gen some day. For now, I mainly want EVs and moves good for Battle Frontier. Particularly Battle Tower. The moves obviously need some work, but they're pretty good IMO. I can easily breed myself some Larvitars if this guy needs to be "re-done," which I'm sure he does. -------------------- |
