I've noticed, most threads go like
1. "question" 2. "answer" 3. "thanks" 4. "lock" So I thought it would be a nice idea to have a big help thread, where people can ask and get answers, without the need to create new topics for each and every question they have. Anyone can ask a question and anyone can answer. -------------------- |

well, i can edit the first post, adding those questions - answers which were asked multiple times already
but the basic idea is to help people who don't want to create a new topic only to ask something simple. This post has been edited by intuition: Dec 10 2011, 10:54 AM -------------------- |

http://gpxplus.net/help hm? I remember someone suggested this (it was like big FAQ or so) but nothing happened If anyone read that (or updated it), we wouldn't even have this forum. We really just need people updating that list after new features and things come out. It'd be nice if it were easier to find stuff in too, but that's out of my hands. We used to have a thread (or two) like the one intu described, but I guess it was taken down. -------------------- |

So, a question, I think I might have asked this before but I don't remember - if someone gets an egg summoned by someone else, and releases the Pokemon later, and the original summoner gets it, does it say it was summoned by them or someone else?
Like this: User A summons Giratina egg User B gets said Giratina egg User B hatches Giratina egg User B releases Giratina User A obtains Giratina Would Giratina say it were summoned by current owner or someone else? -------------------- |

This forum exists because help page can't answer all question. Btw, found that FAQ No I mean there was an official stickied thread of some kind that was the prototype for the official FAQ page...I can't seem to find it though. Anyway, what I meant was that what this forum really ought to be for questions you can't find the answer to using one easy search or skimming over the help page (like if a part of the site doesn't work in your browser, for instance). Again, the problem is that so few people actually bother to read the FAQ thread, as well as on our side, so few people bother to update it. -------------------- |

Like this: User A summons Giratina egg User B gets said Giratina egg User B hatches Giratina egg User B releases Giratina User A obtains Giratina Would Giratina say it were summoned by current owner or someone else? it's not likely to ever happen but logically it would have "summoned by current owner" and someone as previous owner too o: -------------------- |

This has been asked before somewhere (don't remember where); I believe either Big Bidoof or Zerxer confirmed it would say "current owner". -------------------- |

Ah, thanks - I guess either I must've asked before - although I recall nothing about it being officially confirmed - or I missed it being asked. Thanks to you both anyway

Just breed it with a ditto or another pokemon in porygon's egg group that has a gender. You also cannot ask for egg descriptions. You can look up that in your dex. -------------------- |

I havnt hatched a porygon yet And I cant find it... If ive nto hatched it but adopted an evolution, can teh dex tell me the flavor of the egg text without me ever seeing its egg before?
Either way tyvm for telling me taht porygons can breed <3 One other thing, if I evolve a pokemon or dont, does it change its chances to breed or number fo eggs given? And I guess the only pokemon that CANT breed is ditto and legendaries right? |

Also I never seem to find porygon when clicking random peoples Thankies again <3 It looks like you already bred an egg, so you seem all set now =) But for future reference, in case you misunderstood her last response, she didn't mean you had to just look for eggs by clicking random people! If you click on your pokemon's page and go to "View Pokemon's heritage" you could see if it had any siblings or anything that were still eggs. For example, your porygon's heritage page: http://gpxplus.net/heritage/oibOT - if you scroll down through the box of siblings, there's a bunch still unhatched at the moment x) Just in case you need help checking out eggs again for pokemon that you only grabbed already-hatched. |

Alright, here's a quick question: why can't I choose Noveltys for shiny hunt? xD You should be able to; with the release of the new Shine Recorder ~1-2 months ago, the admins made it possible to hunt Novelties and Legendaries. Are you sure you have both the Eggdex and Pokedex data for the Novelty you're trying to hunt? This post has been edited by pumpkinking0192: Dec 10 2011, 07:57 PM -------------------- |

I'll keep trying then =3 |
