Supa Uprising Team :D

Normally Blaziken is used in UU, but in OU he can counter many of the more popular Pokemon. Though Infernape is faster with a better move pool than Blaziken, Blaziken offers something his Infernape doesn't, better offensive and deffensive stats. His speed is plenty good for what he is made to do anyways. Read on to find out more.

Blaziken @ Expert Belt
Nature: Naive
EVs: 100 Attack / 172 Special Attack / 236 Speed
Moves:
- Overheat
- Flamethrower
- Superpower
- Thunderpunch

Wondering why he has such random stuff? Let me explain.
The Expert Belt - this is so that he can still hit hard against everything he counters and remain in perfect health. Staying fully healled is very important if you want this set to work against more than one Pokemon as he likes to take a beating. So why not a Choice item? Well, if you gave him a choice item, you would not be able to counter any of his switch ins such as Blissey, Heatran or Gyarados at all. Though, if you have Wish support, I guess you could switch it out for a Life Orb.

The Nature - Blaziken needs a speed boosting nature or once again, he is incapable of countering some of his common switch ins like Heatraon or Gyarados as he is unable to outspeed them. Naive is needed over Timid or Jolly, because if you went with Timid, he would be unable to ONKO Blissey or Gyarados. If you went with Jolly, he wouldn't be able OHKO Metagross or a few other steel types along with making his most usefull Stab, Flamethrower pretty useless. If you went with Hasty, he would be 2HKOed by a Banded Scizor's Bullet Punch which would make him a pretty useless switch in against him and also making Heatran a bigger attraction. Naive is the only one left which is not so bad since none of the Pokemon that attack him that he can't outspeed and OHKO.

The EVs - Now, don't think these are random at all, I put much thought into all of them. With 100 EVs in attack, he can OHKO max HP max Def Blissey with Superpower. You can add 44 to it, but that would only help you OHKO a Bulky Gyarados with T-Punch WITHOUT Intimidate affecting him. Since all Bulky Gyaras carry DD, it makes it pretty useless since after even one DD, Gyarados can outspeed him. 236 speed allows him to outspeed all base 90 speed neutral natured Pokemon including, Roserade and Lucario and anything slower including, Gyarados and non-scarfed Heatran. The rest are dropped into Special Attack for maximum sweeping.

The Moves - Overheat is so that he can OHKO the odd Metagross that tries to counter him along with Jirachi most of the time not that he can outspeed it. Flamethrower is for a nice Stab that stops most steal types in their tracks. Superpower OHKOs any Blissey along with Heatran and of course T-Tar. T-Punch OHKOs most Gyaras along with doing damage to Vaporeon and Suicune. Though, I'd advise you to switch out on Suicune as he does near nothing to it and he can only 3HKO Vaporeon if I remember correctly.

Extra Notes - I guess you could get rid of Overheat and Flamethrower for Fire Blast if you don't fear the acceracy and PP as it still OHKOs Metagross. Though, I'm not sure what you would put in the 4th slot. Ice Punch maybe? All it would let him do is KO Dragonite and Latias as Mence and Flygon are faster and almost always pack Earthquake... Though it might help against Mence if he plans to DD thinking you'll switch. Might be hard to risk though. Guess you could always give him HP Grass if you want to hit Swamperts to. Maybe Vacume Wave so that you can hit even Scarfed Heatrans?

A choice scarf set or a agility set could help blaziken work better. On an agility set, you could put on either life orb or expert belt, with a variety of stab moves. off my head, it could be 252 speed, 90attack and the rest in spatk, with a Naughty nature, which gives a tad more power in attack. The agility could be used in a switch. A choice scarf could be mixed, or physical/special only. In this case, it would give Blaziken a bigger advantage over infernape in terms of raw power.

Thunder Punch
Sky Uppercut

Yeah

It's a nice set, but I fail to see how it "likes to take a beating". Blazikens HP and defenses aren't very high, and with Naive nature they'd be even lower.
Otherwise, it sounds pretty good, but highly specialized for certain situations. I feel like it would be better to just switch to another Pokemon when Gyarados comes around.
