This is terrible! I love Heros, and P2K was my all-time fav, the Mewtwo ones are awesome... But Lucario made me cry. So, I'm going with that one.

Lucario and Heroes, hands down.

Heroes was gorgeous, both in artwork and in setting/story (VENICE), and to this day, Latias remains my favourite legendary because of it. She's amazing. ♥

Lucario, of course, also made me cry, and it has brilliant cinematography as well.

Both of them made me actually proud to be a Pokémon anime fan, man. ;_;

I've only ever seen the first three. The first one was definatly the best cause me and some mates at the time all went to the cinema and we got free Pokemon cards Can't remeber much abou the movie itself, but the cards where nice.

I've only seen the first three and 'The Rise of Darkai'. But I didn't really get into the first three, it may just be me, but the plot was just... I can't really explain, it just didn't really have much of it at all. *Sucks at explaining things.*

But 'The Rise of Darkrai', despite what my friends and other random people have said, I really enjoyed. I prefer the new anime movies/episodes to the old.

I never went past second-gen anime/movies, so I only really know the original movies. I loved them, though!

My favorite is the Spell of the Unknown, just because I loved Entei, and it was really pretty. Also Ash's mom got a role, which was awesome, and I loved the song at the end. You know, during the credits? Yeah.

I ALSO LOVED MEWTWO STRIKES BACK.

Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, Hands down one of my favorite movies ever! It was funny, made me cry, and had great detail! I tried so hard not to cry but ended up doing so anyways.

While I do love them all (and have watched 'em all multiple times), my vote goes to movie 8. It's just... different, to me at least. It's the one Pokemon movie that easily rivals other non-series based Anime movies because the story was beautiful no matter what way you look at it. Then there's the music, which is a gorgeous collection (as shown through the Anime series' continued abuse of it), and the animation... The Tree of Origin alone is breathtaking. It's just not the sort of thing I ever expected to see in a Pokemon movie.

The only one I haven't seen is Giratina and the Sky Warrior, I loved all of the movies <3 Some of you may of cried when you watched Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, I personally did not cry even though it was very sad. None of the Pokemon Movies have ever made me cry. I really did like them all though because they were all amazing <3 Even though I think there should be a Pokemon Movie with Raikou <3

Pokemon The First Movie is my fav cause I am a hardcore Mewtwo fan.

Second is Mystery of Mew, and third is Spell of Unown.

Although, from the D/P Generation, movies have been getting awesome.

The first one, Pokemon 2001 (that one with Lugia in it) and maybe Heroes.

After that, I found that I could pretty much guess the storyline because it began repetitive in certain ways...some cliches repeated and all that. Not to say they're bad movies, but after seeing some you can predict the rest.

the temple of the sea is my least favourite though cause i can never understand it e.e it seems like the plot is boring to me but i still watch it over and over again xD

i guess the first movie is my favourite since it is what got me addicted to watching the rest of them

For me, it's either Mewtwo or Lucario. Both of them are for me the most mature of the Pokemon movies and had brilliant stories and characters (Mewtwo and Lucario! ) that made me wibble. Runner-ups include Shaymin (partly 'cause it was a cute movie and partly because I'm biased towards Shaymin. ) Entei (It's kinda scary how well I relate to Molly. ) and Heroes (Glad to see so much love for it! Eeee! ).

Even though I complain of its flaws, the Darkrai movie has proved to be a guilty inspiration for me. The manga adaptation by Ryo Takamisaki is cute though.

Am I the only one here who loved Spell Of The Unown? It was my favourite Pokemovie. <3 I still own not one but two copies of the movie on video types. xD

And you forgot to add Mewtwo Returns, even enough it was more of a sequel than an actual movie.

The Lucario movie is playing on TV right now and I've pretty much decided it's my favourite of all the movies. There was a particular scene where everyone was dancing, May and James got paired together and James was freaking out, awesome. The Deoxys movie is also pretty cool.

They are all epic, I love them all.

I have all of the movies on DVD, I have quick access to them. Recently, I watched Giratina and the Sky Warrior, and I really love that little Shaymin!

Heroes, Lucario, and Darkrai.


All three of these movies were extremely heartwarming. Heroes really made me cry for Latios and I loved the fact that it was in a town based off of Venice. Lucario was extremely well done. The plot was amazing. The animation was beautiful. And of course, it was the last movie that Veronica played Ash in. Darkrai was extremely well done as well. The animation was simply gorgeous.

My absolute favourite is the third movie, Spell of the Unowns.

First was okay, but I cant watch it seriously nowadays. Second one left no other effect on me other than lulz for "ash" joke. Third one sinked right into me. Pokémons and characters were chosen well in the film, but what got me best was most likely relationships/interactions between characters - and fragile family theme. Also, dub opening song was GREAT.

Later movies have not entertained me much. Fourth (Pokémon 4ever) was a miss because my hate for Celebi, 5th (Pokémon Heroes) has the best version of original Pokémon theme (japanese) and 8th (Lucario something) one has a really cool opening sequence. Other movies were pretty much nothing to me, but spotting my favourite pokémon from them.

The truth is that most pokémon movies are trash story/entertainwise for my standards, but they are obviously meant for younger audience. I always appreciate good children movies, but these are not them for me, too franchised. In spite of what I've said I still tend to check out the newest Pokémon movie by habit; what has been started, have to be carried to the end. : D

Hmmm in the end I think I'd have to go with Mewtwo Strikes Back just because of the epic clone fight towards the end and getting to watch Charizard duke it out with a different version of himself...However Darkrai was just soooo awesome in the 9th movie that its almost too hard to choose...

The Power of One is beyond special to me, because seeing it in theaters when I was five was the last thing I got to do with my grandmother before she passed away.

Unfortunately, I was terrified of Pokemon back then, and insisted that we leave before the movie ended...

Mewtwo Strikes Back, The Power of One and the Spell of the Unown are my faves, hands down. I watched the one with Celebi and Jirachi (the names escape me) but then I stopped after that, so I haven't seen any of the other ones. But the first three are my absolute favourites.
