Since I just obtained a Phione egg on GPX+, this thought came to mind: it it legendary or just plain dummy?
On the one hand, it's bred from Manaphy, who is a legendary, and it shares a few of its traits. On the other hand, it's VERRRRY bad in combat, especially compared to father/mother/whatever Manaphy. Calling it uber is SO much of an overstatement. I personally think it's dummy. What do YOU think? -------------------- A fan fiction. Well seeing it from both sides I think, That Phione should be considered a rare but not quite legendary Pokemon.
Why?Because it can be attained more easily than the manaphy Not a waste of space? No because in the anime it was very important to May [Y? N?] I believe. -------------------- Shinies         -------------------------------------  |

I see Phione as a different form of Manaphy so to speak. I think I read somewhere that if Manaphy breeds somewhere else than in its homeland (Almia?) the offspring becomes Phione. Something to do with temperature I guess.. That essentially means Phione is like a Manaphy from Sinnoh.
As for why legendaries don't breed, I have a theory that they can. They're just very hard to breed in captivity:p Examples of this come in real life too: Panda Bears are extremely hard to breed in captivity, yet its very easy (too easy) to breed your own pet rabbit. --------------------  Uxie  Anitarig  Daisuke  Weasley  Sceptile  Rika  |

 it's so cute! did anyone watch the episode in the anime with the phione watching? so fucking cute. uber cute, infact. so therfore, phione is uber.Also, i wasn't aware that it's name was pronounced "fee-own-ay" until like, two days ago. xD i was just calling it "fee-own" cause that was how it looked like it was spelled. xD --------------------  |
