Posting this in hopes a staff member will see it and be able to fix it.

The "default" sorting method in the Pokedex has historically ordered all regularly available mons in the front, then Megas, then Very Rares, then Novelties at the end. However, since the release of the last handful of Gen 6 Pokemon a few years ago, this sorting has become spotty as staff seem to forget where they should put newly introduced mons in the order.

The following Very Rares are definitely out of order. They're mixed in with the Common/Uncommon/Rares at the front:
  • both Xerneas forms
  • Yveltal
  • all Zygarde forms
  • Diancie
  • Blacephalon

The following Novelties are definitely out of order. They're mixed in with the Common/Uncommon/Rares at the front:
  • Omastar (Orchid)
  • Noctowl (Curator)
  • Vanillite (Snowless) (this is also erroneously marked as Common rarity rather than Novelty)
  • Vanillishake

The following are also out of order in my opinion, but I can see where there is room to disagree:
  • All of the Very Rare Pokemon from Gen 7 are placed in order of their release on GPX+, instead of in National Dex order
  • Rotom (Dex) is grouped with the other Rotoms instead of with the Novelties
  • Zygarde (Cell and Core) are grouped with the other Zygardes instead of with the Novelties
  • Darmanitan (Daruma) is stuck at the end of the Commons/Uncommons/Rares instead of with regular Darmanitan, as most canon forms are
  • Morpeko (Hangry), Lycanroc (Dusk), Wishiwashi (School), and all the alternate forms of Vivillon, Oricorio, Furfrou, and Minior are all stuck randomly in the middle of the Novelties; I believe most of these should be with their regular forms, and whichever are considered "too numerous" to clutter up the main list should belong next to the Megas
  • all regional variants (except G-Corsola and Cursola) are stuck randomly in the middle of the Novelties; I believe the ones with regional evolutions (Cursola, Obstagoon, and the four yet to be introduced) should be placed in National Pokedex order and the rest would fit fine pretty much anywhere except the Novelties
  • Valencian Bellossom is placed with the regional variants instead of further down in the Novelty section with the rest of the Valencian Oddish family
  • Silvally's forms are placed at the very end of the Pokedex, after the Novelties
