Mega Evolutions
Sorry for the delay in this, but we decided to treat mega evolutions like other evolutions, as far as requesting them at least. Simply go to the http://forums.gtsplus.net/index.php?showtopic=26737 and make your request.
Some rules:
1. Just like in the games, mega evolutions aren’t permanent. You may only activate the mega on every other roleplay. It takes quite a bit out of a pokemon, so such power can't be summoned continuously.
2. Only one mega stone per character. They’re supposed to be rather rare things.
3. Eligible pokemon must be at least level 40 to use.
4. On mega rings, stones, bracelets, etc.: I’ve seen the game use just the stone. Other times, the player activates a bracelet or something. As far as the mods are concerned, only the stone is necessary. Whether you want to incorporate a ring or bracelet, that will be up to the individual player.

From the latest edition of the Pokemon League Rulebook:
"All Mega Evolutions are banned from officially sanctioned matches, which include (but not limited to) gym battles and contests."
