I suppose my biggest qualm with the IRC Chat is due to the fact that you can't see messages before when you signed into it. For example, when I sign into an IRC Chat and I'm waiting for people to join, I will open another tab and go around there while checking back occasionaly. I'd like to leave a message to whomever joins telling them I'll check back periodically but they wouldn't be able to see it.

You could simply append it to the end of your nickname. You could do this by typing /nick Emerald_Wyvern|I_Check_Here_Periodically or something of the sort. Just remember, you can't use spaces. Anyways, I'm going to try to sit in the chat for now on. If anyone enters, I probably won't know you're there. You can grab my attention by simply saying my name (sending "zerxer" to the chat). mIRC will blink the window if my name is said. -------------------- Want a rotating avatar like mine? I would've posted this before leaving, but I couldn't since FEP's server went apeshit or something.
If you don't already know, I handed founder status to zerxer two and a half weeks ago; before leaving basically. He's the founder now, so all the IRC things are up to him, 100%. So um, yeah. EDIT: I'll edit again with an answer tomorrow. -------------------- |
