Can someone clarify the opening please? I'm not sure if I'm misreading - are novelty requests and rare requests mutually exclusive, or can you only have one ongoing request at a time? Because if it's the former, I might just go ahead and request a novelty as well ~

I believe it goes as this:

one total request { one rare request + one novelty request }

clones are member-exclusive, I don't know if they follow the formula above.

You can request 1 novelty and rare at the same time. Clones are member exclusive, but they count as a novelty. So I can request BulbaClone and Beldum, a non-member can request EB and Beldum, but a non-member cannot request BulbaClone.

I apologize for my inactivity lately...I noticed a request I was filling had been dropped due to this. I had to attend a funeral this weekend and I've just been kind of a mess. I should be around much more now that this past week is over. Very bad week.

Listen, I'm still a new member in the group too so I don't know the exact ins and outs here, but the whole spamming thing doesn't mean just mentioning one line that's relevant to the thread and talking about 500 other things that aren't. There's something called page stretching that is just as irritating to people looking for important information as multiple-post spamming (such as Mehitsme trying to update with new members or requests).
I've noticed the server has been slow for me too today, but I'm not going to complain about it because, well, crap happens. Server's down, there's nothing anyone can do about it (aside mention it in the bugs section maybe). It's nice you get to spend time with your BF, but again, not really relevant to the thread.
Think of it this way, it only makes the process harder for others who are solely interested in the content of the topic.

I'll admit, my post about the Mew on page 24 or so wasn't relevant either, it was just additional commentary to other people's excitement about the Mew event. Still, I shouldn't have added to it, and I'm sorry. I intend not to do it again.

You have a journal on GPX right? Just use that to tell us the ins and outs of your life. Not the forum-- at least, not this one please.
