Grass-type for every generation except the first, because the Charmander line is pure awesome and Blastoise was my first level 100 in the handheld games. Bulbasaur can't possibly compare.

Cyndaquil! And not just because of the HGSS release in 5 days. Cyndaquil is just that awesome. All other gens, I would have to pick the water type! Piplup would be 2nd, Mudkip 3rd, and finally Squirtle would be last.
