Hey guys! Did you all enjoy last month's thread? (: I hope so! Every month a new community thread will be made and the old one will be discarded into the archives. I don't want a super huge thread to continue to get even bigger, so I hope everyone is excited for a fresh start every month!

If you're new here then don't be shy! The community thread is the place to come and chat with fellow members of the site who share a common interest with you. Talk about whatever you want, whether it's GPX related or something going on in your personal life, just be sure to read the rules first before posting. There's always someone on the forums to read and respond to your posts, so chat away and maybe you'll meet some great people!

Rules

• Regular forum rules still apply here. Basically don't double post. Don't ask for clicks every time you fill your party. Unless it gets out of hand*, I'm okay with you linking to an exploration Pokemon who needs a specific berry.
  
  *out of hand meaning I don't want to see Pokémon being linked just for leveling or if they need drinks for happiness. These kinds of interactions can be handled just fine by being in your parties and signatures.
  
  
• Do not post your shinies here, there's a http://forums.gtsplus.net/index.php?showtopic=5491 for that. Discussing them is OK though! Just make sure you add content to your post.
  
  
• Make sure your post contains worthwhile content. If you're posting an exploration Pokémon to be fed berries then be sure to add other content to your post. Same with discussing shinies. Find people to reply to or start a discussion yourself! Your post must, with the shiny portion and berry feeding hypothetically removed*, not read as if you're talking to yourself. To clarify, your post should not be an out-loud thought to yourself, and should contain more general discussion than just information on your current shiny luck.
  
  *if you were to read your post, skipping over any mention of shinies, the post should still sound like a good post.
  
  If any posts are found breaking this rule then they will be instantly deleted and handed a 10% warn.
  
  
• Do not post your GPX+ gear grinders in this thread either. There's also a http://forums.gtsplus.net/index.php?showtopic=49472 for that. This is mostly for raging at staff or site events that you don't like.

Monthly Raffle

Nominations are now gone, and I'm using post count to determine how many entries you have into the raffle. The first 19 posts you have will count as one entry, and every ten after that will count as an extra. Think of it as the first number of your post count is how many entries you have. To see what your post count is, click on the number of replies any certain thread has. Nothing else on the site will influence the amount of entries you receive, so if you'd like a chance to win, then post here frequently!

The raffle is what chooses who gets to choose what's in next month's egg distribution. There are no other site advantages other than that, and even then the whole site gets a chance at that Pokémon that you chose!

How to get an egg from this event

• You must keep at least one slot open in your party.
• You MUST have logged in sometime on GPX+ in the last two weeks.
• You can not be in the restricted group.

IMPORTANT EVENT NOTES

1. No, you do NOT have to be online at the time I am sending out eggs.
2. These eggs do NOT show up in the Lab for the event. They are sent out randomly.
3. There is ONE set shiny for each Pokémon, but every other egg has a regular chance of being shiny.
4. If you obtain ONE of the eggs from this event, you will NOT be able to obtain another one from this same event. This means if you get an egg on day 1 of this event, you can't get an event egg from any other day during this event. By the way, abandoning an event egg does nothing. So if you get one you might as well keep it and be happy.
5. If we find any accounts being made just to get eggs from the event then they will be immediately banned along with your main.
6. If you were a winner of the raffle, your chosen Pokémon will be spawned into your party on the day of the event. It won't be forced shiny, but there's always a small chance just like any other egg! This will not count as an event egg and you can still receive one from the event.
7. There is no guarantee that you'll receive an egg. There have been about 3k users online daily and there are only 1,750 eggs going out, so that at least gives you a little more than a 50% chance at getting something.
8. Eggs chosen will not be available to pick from again for 3 months. If x egg was in the January egg distribution, then it can not be chosen again until April.
9. The event runs at 4 p.m. server time.

Event dates and what's being handed out

• September 2nd: Celebi - Winner: Lilium Alice - 350 eggs
• September 3rd: Flaming Zorua - Winner: Esc - 350 eggs
• September 4th: Ho-oh - Winner: Walking On Sunshine - 350 eggs
• September 5th: Raikou - Winner: Rainyaviel - 350 eggs
• September 6th: September marks the start of fall. Is this your favorite season of all? ~ Autumn Tropius ~ 350 eggs

Happy I can finally get diancie!!!

Also this months giveaways look nice. Celeb is my fav legend so hopefully I can get one. Not too fussed on the others, already have a shiny flaming zorua and accidentally summoned a hooh the other day via an enigma stone on the mobile site when trying to use sweet honey. Hopefully the TBD one will be nice so there's a back up plan if I miss celebi, since I'm not too bothered by autumn tropius which I'm assuming. But at the end of the day I'll be happy with whatever I get

After Diancie exploration, I hope Zygrade and Xerneas exploration becomes a thing. Those two are seriously the coolest Gen VI legends. Also wondering what is the function of Mega ring in Diancie exp. I hope it is something as fun!

By the way, can anyone help me choosing amongst Reshiram and Zapdos as my next explo?

I almost picked Diancie but I decided to wait until after reset... and lookie here, a Diancie exploration! Hooray! XD So now... you will all be gifted with my favorite legendary of all instead!

Fall already? Wow..... I'm not sure how I feel about that, actually. Love the colors and weather, but yet.... that means the end of the year is near. Time sure is going fast these days. Feels like I'm always playing catch-up in one way or another. I guess staying busy keeps you out of trouble. Still, it would be nice to chill for a bit. *sigh* Ah well....

Explo pokes fed, and moving on to finish last month's Special. Can't wait for the SWSH. Definitely voting for Pidove and Fletchling (?) this time.

It has a minor plot reason, but it will also serve a purpose for a non-explo-related function. You'll see when someone gets around to it. But don't bug that someone. (:

I'd pick Reshiram if only for the fact that I like its shiny more. The gold is a very nice touch.

I'm going to have to try and speed through the last 3 tasks of the Arceus exploration to try and get to the the new Diancie one by the end of the month! I sense lots of clicking...

First day of Spring in the Southern Hemisphere! Spring's nice because the weather is starting to warm up, but it is also hayfever season, so not nice in that regard.

College year two! Although, I've already been here a week... classes come full circle tomorrow.

I try to tune the decorations out...especially as I had a Christmas-themed tablecloth on my table until the end of July...for me it's the food, I want it to be special, haha. The main brewery in our town released a pumpkin IPA (which, admittedly, I am currently drinking; thank my bf for that lol) at the end of July! That's WAY too early for pumpkin-flavored anything! (but augh it's so good halp)

I can't believe that it is September already. I have less than a month of work left before I'm finished. Working 1 pm to 1 am for the past couple months has really messed up my sleeping pattern, insomnia has gotten much worse than it normally is. I'm really looking forward to getting a bit of a break to be honest....before I have to go job searching again

Okay so I built Exia and a V2 Assault Buster. V2 Assault Buster isn't THAT interesting, but it is kind of cool, I'll mess around and post pics of that later. However, I made a Nu Gundam a while back, which was Amuro Ray's ultimate suit in Char's Counterattack. Amuro Ray is actually probably the best and most compelling Gundam protagonist out htere, if only because we see him till he hops into the RX-78-2 until

I had already built it, but I decided to put its decals on and actually make use of its action base. It's really cool:

lol I just did my fantasy draft today. They say I got a B+ and I'm gonna go 6-8.

I'll show them. I went from 1-5 to 6-6 in our league last year. I am too lazy to show you guys the screencap but basically someone made a huge trash talk post and it said "HEY RAVEN MAYBE NEXT YEAR YOU CAN PLAY WITH THE BIG BOYS." Except I went on a 5 (almost 6, god dammit like Dwayne Allen got injured at the beginning of the game) game win streak and beat the shit out of all the playoff teams. Too little too late.

Sure hoping that our receivers aren't as shitty as they showed us in the preseason, and that a 30 year old Justin Forsett won't let us down.

Everyone stole the SEXY id's omg. I just tried to get one by summoning some mons and it had moved on to fEXY! *raaagggeeeee* ;-;

I thought about this and was hesitant to only have a fall one, but went with it. Sorry, Australia, New Zealand, and Southern hemisphere in general. D;

They have Halloween candy out and the specialty stores popping up around our area already. I love Halloween for decorating, but we found out last year that no kids come around where we are. ): We got three kids last time. Three. We were were all dressed up to hand out candy and everything. ):

I also love Halloween but most of the trick or treater's we get are high school students who didn't even make an attempt at dressing up. Like, at all. I usually just shut our light off after a few groups like that and hoard the rest of the candy to myself since even when I do dress up I get really weird looks for trick-or-treating at 25 Why does society impose "acceptable" age limits on fun things? Trick-or-Treating, bouncy houses, drawing on the sidewalk... Etc.

Well the Diancie exploration was very fun and the artwork was adorable. I was the 11th person to finish it so I'm happy . Wonder if I should go to sleep now, or try and start The Three Singing Chatot. I need to get a Moltres to complete the set, something I thought I did ages ago, oh well.

Fall is definitely in the air where I am, it was so cold today. I pretty much had the heat on max in the truck at work. Not sure if I want the cold though, because that means snow is coming .

As I mentioned in August's thread, we ended up not giving candy out to trick-or-treaters last year. Halloween fell on a Friday but my subdivision, at least, moved it to Thursday because of the high school football games. I think it falls on a Saturday this year, so we should be able to do it this time.

I was at Wal-Mart yesterday but I didn't see any Halloween-related things out yet, not even candy. I went to the electronics section and saw that had a few copies of the new Sailor Moon R dub. I didn't buy it yet though.

Also, in Shuffle, Sharpedonite's the next little Mega Stone challenge coming next week or so. Not that I'm expecting to win one though.

Yayy done with this months explorations and also with the new normal one! Got almost 600 shelter grabs now, what am I suppose to do with those? Anyways, I liked those explorations but I'm happy I can now go do something else. :P

It's been ages without pokérus and yesterday two of my pokémons got it. I suppose I'll heal my Clefable from it when she reaches 100.

EDIT: I'm so happy about autumn finally coming. The temperature has finally dropped below 68F (20C) during the day and it is possible to be inside without being sweaty all the time. It is still sunny outside and the temperature is bearable there so this is fine to me!

Trying again after my antisocial last month... and I probably won't be able to keep this up when I leave for a week later.

Can't start Diancie yet, but Orange Island feels easy enough so far (but I'm sure there's going to be a really mean task later to make up for it), and I have a ton of other normal explorations due to my semi-hiatus, and I hatched a shiny moth that gave me my last Insect Shard so I can do DotW again. I'm actually a bit worried about the non-clicking task. Totally out of practice. xD

For the distribution, I'll try for Celebi, and Raikou if I don't get one.

I'm hunting two novelties so starting a legendary hunt doesn't seem like a wise thing to do.

I like it when an eeveelution can be used for the Pokehunt... find these hunts quick and easy, especially because there are always heaps of eevee eggs in the shelter (the 3.1 multiplier is helpful too!). Got a 152IV eevee, so I think I'll stick with that

Not sure yet what I'll go for in the egg distribution. Like others here, I already have all of them, so I guess I'll go for the ones whose shinies I like most, so that's Ho-Oh and if I don't get that one, (what I assume to be) Autumn Tropius.

Already have Diancie as well, but I'll still need to do it's exploration if I ever want to get the Insatiably Curious achievement, as well as the new normal one. But first I have to stop being lazy and start clicking and finish DotW (only at task 3).

Also, for some reason chrome no longer knows my location? I tried activating the mobile walker and I get this error:
Your browser was unable to determine your location! Please try again later.
I've checked my chrome settings and I have geolocation allowed on GPX, so I'm not sure where this error is coming from. I've checked on other sites as well, and it seems like they can't find my location either. Restarting chrome and my laptop didn't work either. So, for now, I can only activate the mobile walker on my phone...

Xerneas' forms barely change, so I'm fine with just 1, the others however... I'm gonna need a lot more legendaries.

Kudos on the first one done with the new explore, H1Z1. That's awesome! I remember clicking like crazy and working double time to be among the top 100 to finish the Arceus explore. It was tough... but I was so happy. The second time 'round... yeah. I so took my time. I think I was passed by a snail... twice! LOL

Big plans for the month? Lemme see. 9/11 I'll be in a courtroom for a Foster Care Guide Review or something like that. I'm just hoping that doesn't mean our foster daughter will be leaving us to return to her original "home". And yes. I realize how bad that sounds. But! Even she doesn't want to leave. I don't think I have anything to worry about just yet though. From what we've last been told her parents still don't have their own home and she isn't wild about the family visits (should they start up again); she told me she "tolerates" her parents just so she can spend time with her brothers, knowing that if she refused to see her parents, she couldn't then see her brothers. So hopefully 9/11's court date will just be a check up to make sure we aren't mistreating our foster daughter and that she's happy and wants to continue to live with us.

Beyond that, I'm taking vacation the week of 9/21 just so I can have some down time. I think that's all of my September plans that I can think of.

Yeah, to get my Living 'Dex, I had to grab Legendary pokemon whenever they appeared. And I believe that, for the most part, I went in Pokedex order to fill my non-Legend holes. I think mine is complete anyway. Except for Kalos legends, Furfrou forms, and Arceus forms. And I still need Normal Arceus so I can move my plated one into an Arceus box.

EDIT - And Mega forms. I ALWAYS forget the Mega forms. LOL

I saw the link for the N3DS and yeah... given that it is a smaller size and the price tag is still over sized, I think that Nintendo is going to be very unhappy. It doesn't matter, not with that price tag, that it comes with a game. Haven't full sized 3DS' come with a game before and cost just as much? I didn't read the whole article, just scrolled down enough to see the pic and the price.

I will be getting the Happy Academy game if I can as, like someone else mentioned, I'm a sucker for AC. It's the only other true game that gets in the way of my Pokemon craze. Or, is it, Pokemon is the only other game that gets in the way of my AC craze? *giggle*

So we have two new explores. The Diancie and this new normal one, eh? I presume Rhapsody meant the Diancie explore and not the other one from earlier? Hm. Well. I'm sure I'll have time to do at least one special explore this month so I'll make sure it's Diancie. And then I'll do the new normal one. I'm excited to see what Pokemon that will give us. I can't get any information about the exploration to pop up yet so it'll be a total surprise for me. From number of tasks to how long its taking people to get through it. But that's ok. I like surprises. Which is why, if I don't get the pretty Flaming Zoroua, I'll be good with the surprise Pokemon. I am in league with those thinking it'll be the Autumn Tropius, but hey! What if... just what if... it were something else altogether? Sa-weet!

And now it's time for me to get serious both with my current exploration and the work tasks at hand. I'll tune in later but, for now, hasta la pizza!

Also, I got a few more 'cheevos done (Fen and Mine Badge) and am now working on the Icicle Badge Achievement. Had to get a fresh Swinub and Sneasel from the SZ as I only had Mamoswine and Weavile.

I originally wanted to do a living dex, but the shinies overtook everything and I wanted to save some boxes for shiny fails. I think I have all the different Deoxys forms at least, and I kept a couple of Dracowymsy but that's just about it. Then there's all the Arceus I still need.

I had the record for the slowest completion in the Orange Islands exploration, but it's already "beaten"

I'm currently doing the Diancie exploration (Rhapsody, I must say I loved a certain line in Task 4. Well, all the text for Task 4. The pic makes it even better) and maybe I'll do one of the other two specials. Lately I only do explorations when there's a new one >_>


Oh, and I also liked the story for the other new exploration. Scaring naughty kids with a big Pokémon is just wonderful.

That's happened to me a couple of times, though I have to say losing a Lv 100 Tyrantrum in my favorite shade of blue was more disappointing. The last time it happened though, it was a Timburr egg, the only one in about 1700 eggs from that breeding pair that turned out to be shiny. I got the next shiny ~600 eggs later.

Only... in the Safari... they don't really show that difference, do they? Could they really show it that much for that one but not the others? I know that shiny Pokemon usually have extreme color differences from their non-shiny Pokemon, but I was under the impression that you can't tell those differences in the Safari.

I released one shiny accidentally a few years back. It was a Swellow and I kept kicking myself for doing so. I was able to find another one soon after though. The only ones I release on purpose are those that I have impulse grabbed from the SZ. I remember seeing a Carbink most recently.

@Aragarthiel: It's always a bit of a downer when you release shinies by accident, especially if they took a long time to find. Hopefully you'll be able to find another one soon (if you intend to hunt it again).

@Rhapsody: Keep trying with FE9, you'll get there in the end and it'll be so worth it! If it's the same people who keep dying, try not to get too angry at them

I can't wait to start these new explorations...I thought it was a bit weird how there were wild Spring Cyndaquils showing up on my mobile berry feeder...But at least I'm on the last leg of DotW, yay!

Whoo, I have been ultra busy today!

Not IRL, naturally. xD But my GPX time has been spent extremely efficiently. I've hatched 3 legends (Zekrom, Diancie, Cresselia), finished a shiny hunt, and finished a whopping SIX explos (Orange Islands, Diancie, Zekrom, the Shay/Cress/Heat explo, RSE legend explo, fatbird explo)....but I haven't finished yet!

Speaking of Fire Emblem, I started Sacred Stones but only played about five chapters in a day... I should keep playing it, I liked the bit I played. Some nice units that would kill even enemies with a weapon advantage, that annoying rng that would give me crappy level ups...


Well, I finished the Diancie explo a while ago and I'm looking forward to more explos written by Rhapsody, this one was quite funny. And then I decided to start the one for the birds, last time I did it was like two years ago.

Sacred Stones had one of the best stories of the series

The enemy generals are a nice mix of pure evil and good people following their king. It's actually a few steps down from FE4's level of tragic, but it is far more tragic than all the other FE games.

Just finished the Diancie exploration! (I fell asleep before confirming the final step, so it registers as longer, but I finished it before I passed out).

Quite an enjoyable exploration, not much tedium or difficult tasks. Would that all explorations were like it! I particularly liked the NPC battle where the story -told- me what I was going to be facing if you read carefully-- I hate going into fights blind.

74th to finish the Diancie exploration, whoo-hoo~ It was really funny and cute, I liked it a lot!

I'm re-watching the Game Grumps playthrough of Luigi's Mansion. I think that game is my favorite, it's so awesome. Definitely top three, at least. It's also one of the only games I've actually completely, lol.

I also believe that Autumn Tropius will be the mystery one. It was the first thing I thought of after I read the hint.

Also excited about the SWSH, and the new explos, too. I haven't gotten around to finishing Treasures of the Orange Island yet, so once I do, I'll start the Diancie one.

Now that it's the start of September, there is only 10 days left until Super Mario Maker but still over 2 months until PSMD! I'm really excited.

Summer jams? Anything fast beat that could help me zone out and keep running despite the heat =A= such jams included several songs by Amaranthe, Work This Body and Shut Up and Dance by Walk The Moon, Anti You by Blue Stahli, some stuff by Feint (such as Time Bomb), Something I Need by One Republic and so on and so forth.

@Vibrancy -- I'm not sure since I've never done it, but I think canceling an exploration puts it on the cool down as if you had completed it. At least that's how I think it'd work, but I don't know for sure.

There wasn't really anything in particular that I don't normally listen to already. Though, ever since I had gotten the Mezmerize album by System of a Down, I've been listening to "This Cocaine Makes Me Feel Like I'm on This Song" a lot. It's really catchy, or at least in my opinion anyways.

I personally have a 142 IV Male Sylveon in there. Of course, my ranking doesn't really matter either, since I already have the Pixie Plate.

If it's male, it seems like it MIGHT have a chance at a Rank 1, but it could also be just under the Rank 1 plateau. If it's female, you'd likely have a better chance?

Congrats Vibrancy! I remember the rush from when I got AANT. I also have never heard of Charlotte, but if it's part of the Angel Beats canon, I still need to watch Angel Beats, so.

The only summer jam I can recommend is "Love for the Summertime" by DiGi Valentine.

Shadow, probably? If it were a female I'd say you were a shoe-in, but a male at those IVs will definitely not be lower than R2.

I was all set with a 132 Sylveon, myself...but then I hatched a 144 Togepi randomly, grabbed the egg trying to fill my party. Hahaha.

And also I think this is going to be TBD month #2 for me.

oh, and also that we finished Dragon Ball next week, so now we're about 20 episodes in to DBZ.

hello I'm totally not reading back in the thread

My problem right now is chapter 27. I want to defeat the Black Knight. Because I hate myself. Ike's strength is capped, he's got pretty good defense, speed and HP, and I gave him Aether... which never procs. I think that's a thing the Black Knight does but whatever it would help. I *would* be able to slog my way through it, with Mist healing me, if those STUPID PRIESTS WITH PHYSICS WOULD PISS OFF. Maybe someday I'll get the run where nobody dies in the first part of the chapter and Ike remembers how to dodge in the second half...

If I lose a map repeatedly, as I have every single day, I take a break from the game. I'm enjoying it a lot but I'm one of those people who will like keep flinging things at the enemy until it dies? Having to unlearn that is a treat.

... I'm sorry Begnion Holy Guard. YOU AREN'T NAMED SO YOU AREN'T IMPORTANT. but you help with mooks a lot.

Most of my deaths have been to stupid mistakes ("oh right I forgot to check that that enemy couldn't nail Squishy Healer/Mage") or just bad luck, so that's good, I think. I haven't backed myself into a corner.

Okay. THAT was a bit ... weird. Right after reset, I went and fed my Giratina a sweet berry. I kept refreshing my page, in an attempt to get my eggs up to hatching levels, and my interaction count never changed. So, I decided to go back to Giratina's page. And it showed the berries to me, instead of the "This pokemon remembers you from" whatever the time was meant to be. That time, it caught.

Any clue as to why it didn't the first time?

And also? Giratina only needs 19 more berries now.

I went shopping September first in an attempt to find my Pumpkin Spice Peeps. I walked through Target twice, and while I found a few Halloween themed items, no Peeps were to be found. I was able to get the next two books in two different series at Barnes & Noble, however: the tenth book in the Nina Wilde/Eddie Chase series, Kingdom of Darkness, and the 53rd {?} Rogue Angel novel, Bathed in Blood.

Yeah, there's something about how sometimes, the interactions would occasionally not go through and you have to do it over again. It's especially irritating when you're mass-clicking.

The thing about the BK fight in PoR is that it's ridiculously luck-based. Even with a Str-capped Ike, you'll still need to get lucky with Aether procs. Alternatively, if you're emulating you can use save-states to skip the first part of the chapter, or just keep resetting and retrying until you get those Aether procs you need. (Which is what I eventually ended up doing the first time.)

Like what Yossarian says, the best is still to come I can't remember what the map looks like, but physic is irritating at the best of times. At least by chapter 27, you should have a good team behind you and they're all fairly competent. Hopefully through skill and luck you'll be able to clear the chapter!

@Pokehunt talk: I've submitted a 138IV male Sylveon. I have no idea what ranking it would be, but because of egg maturity Sylveons would probably go better than any other fairy.

I managed to infect two of my Pokémon between yesterday and today I hope to make some transmissions now.

And yesterday I submitted a trinket for the first time. I did my best, but well, I'm not an artist. I'll see if it is accepted or not. (at least I'm sure it's within the rules)

I'm almost done with the new Normal exploration, so I'll soon do the Diancie one I already have Diancie, but must. do. every. exploration.

Not sure. I'm not seeing many people entering Ralts/Kirlia/Gardevoir, but the fact that has only 5k egg steps, Uncommon rarity, no primary fairy type, no gender advantage...

But it DOES have 143 IVs and shininess, which is good for 10-20 IVs. Add in the fact that Sylveon and maybe Togekiss are honestly the only 'better' choices...it's a crapshoot, huh?

You DO have a shot, I just don't know how good it is. :/ Shininess should put you around the 155 IVs house, which is pretty good for an Uncommon rarity mon. But the fact that Sylveon and Togekiss are the only better options may lead people to enter other uncommon mons, although I think no one would enter a Kirlia instead of a Gardevoir, but who knows.

They haven't yet. Usually it's around 4 PM server time that they are distributed, so you've got 4 more hours to keep a spot open in your party (or make sure your party is full if you don't want today's egg).

On another topic: I just hatched an Eevee with a whopping 160 IV's, so I think I'm good for rank 1. Shame I already got the plate though, but more prize points is always a good thing.

I think I'll go for Rotom, one of the nidos, and another Poke.

It's 11 here so I decided to start lunch. I make oven baked chicken a lot because it's easy to do. I tried it again and experimented a bit, so let's see how it goes. Yesterday I grilled a burger and seasoned it with what I thought was steak seasoning...but it was actually crushed red pepper. The seasonings were in the same bottle and they looked pretty similar...Hopefully I didn't make another mistake like that.

I was unofficially "hunting" for this because I finished my shiny EB hunt and I needed a new breeding pair. This was a huge surprise, second shiny novelty!

For SWSH picks, I always do the starters in pokedex order, just because I'm halfheartedly working towards that anyway. If I don't feel like scrolling through the whole list, I'll just pick the Squirtle and the first two pokemon on the list (Abra and Absol, I think?)

Also lol. If Bergmite is yellow, all I can think of is "don't eat the yellow snow..."
After looking it up, the ice stays the same but it's legs and eyes turn yellow. Not too bad looking actually.

I need someone to do office wars with if we're talking about shinies. I thought that if I let the shine recorder make a race for me, it would be with someone who's hunting the same pokemon, but I was wrong. ): I'm kinda hoping I lose the race so I can just keep hunting Zergoose and still get office wars.

For the SWSH, I think I'll go with a mix of Pokemon that I don't have the shard type for yet and Pokemon with a shard type that I don't have much of. I don't have any Flame, Icicle, Iron or Toxic shards yet.

I might leave a space open for Celebi, because I will end up getting Ho-oh anyway because I chose it. At least I think that's how it works. I want to be sure about that.

I think you automatically get Ho-oh if you were the one who picked it, but you have a chance of getting two if you leave two spots open. I saw someone get two Pokemon, but that was awhile ago.

Sweet, got the Celebi egg I wanted(pls hatch shiny xD). I was going to try for Raikou if I didn't get Celebi but I remembered to keep my slot open this time. Last time I wanted Zekrom but forgot to fill my party and got the Rayquaza egg instead.

I normally pick Pokemon that I don't have a shiny of that I either don't want to waste shelter grabs for or ones that interests me at the time of a SWSH. Sadly I never seem to pick the Pokemon that wins the SWSH voting stage .

I'm finally getting around to doing explorations I haven't done because work is so slow right now. Started Bridging The Gap today and this little one needs some berries.

I've always wondered something, but I never really bothered to ask. There are a handful of explorations where a task is to grab a specific Pokemon (or multiples of the same Pokemon) to complete the task. They MUST be from the safari zone...so I was wondering, do any of you go out of your way to release specific Pokemon for these explorations? Or does the site's natural flow of Pokemon work well enough? One of the Pokemon I'm hunting has a task like that, so that crossed my mind.

Sometimes I grab eggs of those Pokemon if I see them and don't have anything else to do, and if I'm shiny hunting them, I try to focus on that hunt. Otherwise I just release the ones I used for those explorations.

When a new exploration, particularly a special one, comes out that has a task like this I release the pokemon as soon as I no longer need it. I remember hatching and releasing a lot of pidgey and patrat back when the exploration(s) requiring them first came out.

Currently I'm breeding my Dugtrio to help people with the new exploration, since that luckily does not have to be from the Safari.

The egg distribution happens right before I get out of school (I get out at 3:05 my time) so I left a spot open last night and ended up finding a little green egg sittin in my party when I got home.
Celebi is one of my favorites, and I've loved the shiny version of it since I saw it in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness (which was actually the first time I saw Celebi ever I believe, as it was my first Pokemon game and it introduced me to the series). So I really hope that it'll hatch shiny but it probably won't because I'm not lucky.

I also finished the Orange Island explo just a little bit ago, so I'll probably start the Diancie one soon.

The same thing happened to me when I finished it a little bit ago.


I think I beat it on my fifth try maybe? I'm pretty sure I didn't get it beaten on the first four tries, but when I used my last move on the fifth try it kept getting matches and stopped when it had only a little sliver of health left. My impatience got the best of me and I used a jewel for +15 seconds and I had to do only one match to beat it. I then got lucky and ended up catching it.

Well my Celebi hatched, and it isn't shiny of course. One day I'll get a shiny non-summonable legend .

I have two hours or so of work left tonight. I really want to go home, I forgot to take my flu meds today in my rush to make it to work. I am shivering and have a sore throat/cough, really wish I was in my nice, toasty bed now . *cranks the truck heater on bust*

Shiny wise I'd love to have a Raikou, Yveltal, Darkrai, Jirachi, Celebi and Suicune. Regular ones I'd love to get Yveltal and Xerneas, as they are the only legends I need that don't have an exploration.

No pink onion fairy like I hoped, I'm afraid. At least I got a shiny Drilbur and another Earth Shard. But I really should at least start on the four plates I hadn't started on yet. If Klefki can hurry up and hatch gold, that would make my first Iron Shard, but I have to wait until for that to happen, if it does.

I got myself a Celebi egg. And when I got home from wwork, it was already 34% hatched. O _ o! I mean, if I had been home, I could understand why it was so far into hatching, but I hadn't really interacted a lot before work, nor was I "online in the past 15 minutes." I guess it's from people using the "All Users" or "Been online today" options?

And I kind of forgot about the event being today, but I wasn't going for any specific pokemon anyway, so Celebi is good.

Woke up too late to take advantage of the distribution, so I'm probably gonna try for Ho-Oh and Raikou. Pink Celebi would have been amazing, though.

My power went out like half an hour before the distribution today, so I was just glad I hadn't left a space open in my party (because I didn't particularly want Celebi). Sitting in the dark and heat for an hour wasn't so fun though.

I actually got really lucky. The first like... three times I tried it, I got it to about half HP (with no items). Then, I'd just decided to use Mega Gengar to see what would happen, and decided that I would go grind for coins to use items after that one heart.

...I ended up beating Lugia with 00:00 time remaining and caught it at 8%. I will never have that kind of luck again.

I sympathize with you Doom. I hate being late, and it's double frustrating when it's not even your fault. Someone needs to invent a self-parking car. Or a car with a hover-park mode. Oooo, or a collapsable car...

I hadn't planned on participating in this month's Giveaway, since I thought I had all of them already. But apparently what I thought was a Raikou was an Entei. And I have to work a double shift on the 5th. So.... here's hoping my memory actually works for a change. *not likely*

Finally got a Mega Rayquaza (sp?) on the last round of Mega Stones. Nice artwork!

Just out of curiosity and for sake of random randomness.... What critters freak you out the most? I have a friend who is terrified of mice, which seems kind of odd to me. And I'm terrified of bees and wasps, which seems odd to them. (Sort odd to me, too, since I'm not allergic, and the times I've been stung really weren't that bad. But yet I still will run you down to get away from them. Go figure.)
