@AregularFrankiefan and @Luneon - I was going to experiment to see how the nature and breeding partner of a Novelty Pokemon affects the novelty egg rate, how many eggs they put out, how quickly they become compatible, etc. But after a quick Bulbapedia check and a re-read of the Help section, it doesn't look like nature has any effect on compatibility, and in GPX, the nature of the offspring appears to be independent of the parents. Guess I should have tried to look that up first, lol. Oh, interesting! Shame that it doesn't seem to have any effect though, could have been a worthwhile experiment otherwise. -------------------- |

I had a brain fart and released my first Cypress-bred [ a Giratina ] without putting thought into it, hopefully the same doesn't happen to you! -------------------- |

All I seem to be finding is common Psychic-Types, in addition. Hopefully if I can't find anything better the 139 Slowking I tossed in will at least net me Rank 3 if not 2. -------------------- |

*waves sheepishly*
Good morning all! It's been a while since I've dropped by the Community Thread but figured I was due for a posting. Ok, so maybe this critter, that I ran into in the wild, helped give me reason to stop clicking and fly on over here. Yup. I'm reliving my easiest explore in the never ending quest of a shiny Spike. I'm sure the odds remain against me, but in the off chance that luck happens by, perhaps she'll drag you with her and you'll have a Chesto berry or two to share. As you might know, Scyther is big on staying dry. So if you have a dry, Chesto in your pockets... he'd (and I) would appreciate any assist. In other related news... my SWSH continues to be somewhat dark. Hopefully today I can mega click to hatch a number of my Sunkern before my hopes get sunk. I chose that one because it was the first shiny I got in Pokemon Go! Actually, it's the ONLY shiny I have in that game. I wonder if my Pokemon shiny luck is game wide over all Pokemon related forums or what. In any event, that is why I randomly chose to go with Sunkern. I don't think its shiny colors are noteworthy, but that's the reason I opted for him. -------------------- |

Been getting sub 100 IV pokemon. Even the shiny lunatone I got is dismal. -------------------- |

It's simply a neat and semi-rare occurance, for those who are lucky enough to grab them in time. Few days ago, i got a Cypress bred Virizion egg.

I hatched a [Heart] Eevee this morning. New novelty? Very cute <3
Crying that there are no Beldum eggs in the shelter right now, I've got a long day and a long trip home and I could hatch one with the Mobile walker =( Oh well, at least there's a decent number of Solrock & Lunatone =) Also I feel you guys with the bad luck in shiny hunts. I've had rotten luck with the SWSH since March, still working on my Electrike hunt (609 eggs and counting). I've also been in a shiny race since May, and I've lost by like ten-fold (my race buddy hatched his in 45 eggs, I'm about to hit 500 eggs with no shiny). At least I've already got shiny Smeargle, so I'm not gonna be too bummed if I don't hatch another one, other than missing out on yet another SWSH prize xDD -------------------- |

Releasing:
https://gpx.plus/info/cVxLb Another Heart Eevee. Oh no. I'm gonna pull my breeding pair out and swap then. I accidentally had to play a guessing game with mine this morning and released an egg that was a heart. Thankfully NOT shiny. I'm picking up uncommons cause NO RARES. Urgh. I love the plus days don't get me wrong but for breeding troll novelties, they're hell. So right now I'm breeding easter fluff butts until regular days roll around again. Hopefully I get a useful mega stone. I wanna play with some different lineups for Battle Subway. Plus dex entries. I want that.

My luck with hunts remains terrible.
Pumpkaboo is 700 eggs and counting, Salandit is 660 + eggs, Alomomola is at 220 + eggs, and current Igglybuff hunt is 520 + eggs. I'm really hoping I'll get something during Honey + days. As for Heart Eevees. It's just like Bidofo, keep an eye for any Eevee egg in the Shelter. This post has been edited by Gigadyne: Sep 20 2018, 07:29 AM -------------------- |

Welp threw in the gauntlet and tossed in a 138 solrock. Cause I hatched nothing better. Was hoping for shards. Well I got one earlier this week from a lunatone but still. I'm greedy haha.
Not gonna push my luck on shinies so I'll keep mum about them lol. -------------------- |

Thank you for the Honey+, everyone who donated!! I have a small supply of Honey right now but didn't want to burn through it in, like, 2 days. Time to load up on Jangmo-O and Sunkern.
