Name: Temno Pereryva

Hometown: Blackthorn City, Johto

Appearance: Temno is tall, 6'2" to be exact, and has a fairly muscular build. He has a very intimidating air about him, with his wild black hair, dark brown eyes that are almost black, and tanned skin. He has a faint scar on his right cheek that he got when he was about 3, falling on a sharp rock. He wears a black leather jacket over a dark red tee shirt. The tee shirt has a swirl design in black covering it. He has black jeans with a dark red stripe down the legs. His shoes are black boots with dark red laces. He has a black trucker cap and very reflective sunglasses. He carries a black backpack with bright red accents.

Personality: He is usually a loner, preferring his own company, but he can tolerate a lot with people. He is fairly laid back, contrary to most people's first impressions. He is very quiet, especially around people he does not know well. He is minimalist when speaking, and is usually very straight to the point. He enjoys battling to a degree, but hates seeing Pokemon, or anything for that matter, get hurt too bad. Pokemon, to him, are companions. He always has his Pokemon with him, and generally has one out at all times.

Biography: He was born and raised in Blackthorn City, playing around the entrance to the Dragon's Den and near the exit from the Ice Path. He grew up with Sveta Utrom, his best friend and next door neighbor. One day, as they were playing in the snow from the Ice Path, they found a Cyndaquil stumbling out towards them, yammering hysterically, seemingly very weak. Temno and Sveta, at the age of seven and six respectively, set out to help it. The Cyndaquil led them back deep into the Ice Path, where they found a Totodile and a Mareep clustered together, near exhaustion. They carried the three Pokemon back out of the cave and to the Pokemon Center, where they were healed by Nurse Joy. After they where healed, the Pokemon did not want to leave. The Cyndaquil went with Temno and the Totodile went with Sveta. As soon as they were old enough, Temno and Sveta caught their partners. Temno set out with Cinder, his new Cyndaquil, and traveled around the Johto region. When he turned fourteen, his parents gave him a Snivy, which he named Slit. He set out to Furoh when he turned fifteen.

I'd like to see the personality expounded on to some degree, especially regarding his feelings about Pokemon and battling. Also, what in his life caused him to be a loner?

I expanded on the personality a little. If you'd like more, I can put more.

Um, nothing really happened in his life to make him a loner, he just is.

I, personally, would like to see a tad bit more in the Biography section. Who gave him the Snivy? Why did they deem him worthy to give him a poke'mon? What happened to Sveta? I feel you have a lot of potential with this character, and nothing gives a better start to a character than a good profile.

Same goes for the personality, since you said that you didn't mind adding a little more. Why does it bother him so much to see poke'mon hurt? Did the experience with Cinder cause him to be especially close to poke'mon as a whole, or is that just the way he was raised?

You're very close to having this accepted; I'd just like to see a couple more details.

I added that his parents gave him Slit. Sveta, I planned on making her a, um, sidekick, I think it was called, and was going to expand on her story then. He was just raised to value all living things. Not really much to say there.

The Biography is still a little bare-bones, compared to what it could potentially be. For instance, whatever happened to the Mareep that Temno and Sveta found in the cave? Did Temno accomplish anything significant in Johto in his travels? Why did he decide to go to Furoh (aside from the fact that it's PANE's setting?)

When did he and Sveta part ways? I know you're intending for Sveta to be a partner, but did she travel to Furoh at the same time as him? What happened in the period between meeting Cyndaquil and catching him?

Please to expound upon these.
