Hey guys, in prepearation for Black and White 2, I've decided to replay all my current DS games in order to have Some good Pokemon to bring over after I complete it. I'll be replaying Platinum, Soul Silver and White.
I decided that I'm gonna have one of each starter, a Grass, Water and Fire. I've already decided my Water Type is going to be Samurott in White, however this has left me with a massive dilemma:
Infernape or Torterra in Platinum and Meganium or Typhlosion in Soul Silver!
Which should I pick to be the Grass starter and which should be the Fire? I really need help you guys, so please debate this so I can get some solid opinions!
I personally would do Typhlosion/Torterra/Samurott, if that's the water type you want. Typhlosion is a real powerhouse when you get it to a higher level, what with Eruption and Lava Plume. Torterra is also extremely powerful with Earthquake.
However, if you're a bit more accustomed to inflicting status problems, Meganium would be a better grass type to choose.
Personally, I would overall go for a Typhlosion/Empoleon/Serperior match up. It's really up to your style of battling.
Typholsion is one real powerful fire type so I'd go with him and the other two Pokemon.
