I wanted to know what pokemon movie or movies people liked the most so i decided to make this.

Heres a list of all the movies(i have all the pokemon movies except for mewtwo returns i think)

Personally I prefer Pokémon Ranger and The Temple Of The Sea

I wanna watch the Arceus one, but idk when it comes out in the UK.

Mewtwo Strikes Back was the best. I watched the two after it, and then thats when I lost faith in the Anime. I consider all movies after the third to be ridiculous.

My favorite is a tie between The Power of One (because of Lugia's awesomeness, the legendary birds, Melody, the hint of Pokeshipping , and - mainly - Lugia's song), and The Spell of the Unown (because of Entei's awesomeness, Entei's theme, the whole plot for some reason, and it being one of the few movies I cried watching it). I also like The Rise of Darkrai for Dialga and Palkia battle, and Oracion, and Arceus and the Jewel of Life because of Arceus' rage I guess... yeah.

well when the Champion Z movies comes out in Japan in July im going to watch it and maybe even post it here my friend is going to buy my and my sister and little brother the pass to fly there and the tickets to watch the movie

I adore power of one, and it's my obvious favorite, but I also love latios and latias, Lucario and the mystery of Mew, and Pokemon ranger and the temple of the sea. The newer ones, not so much.

Mewtwo Strikes back (the Uncut Japanese version of course ) If only the English didn't cut out all the killing parts and Ai's death
2nd was good too and 3rd was great (because Charizard came back 8D) but nothing beats the original, uncensored movie

I can't stand any of the others though

My favourite is The power of one. All three birds are awesome and Lugia is my favourite Legendary. Also like Mewtwo Strikes back and Pokemon Heroes.

The First Movie. 99%

Deoxys is my overall favorite legendary which made the movie exciting for me.

The Power of One (2000 ) This movie was the main reason why I started obsessing over Lugia. He is amazing! I know legendaries aren't supposed to have known genders, but the one in the movie was obviously male and that has been my view since. There was something epic about this movie that others didn't have, even to this day. I have seen every single one, and although Spell of The Unknown was awesome, it just didn't have the same captivating atmosphere. But it was much closer than the others. :/

Mewtwo strikes back was epic. Mewtwo secured its place as my favourite pokemon in this movie. Next, spell of the unknown. I loved this movie. its plot was amazing, and the unknown used such a creative power. Entei was also very cool. The power of one was the last of the three pokemon movies that were really good movies, not just good pokemon movies. Theres a reason the most recent movies haven't been shown in theaters, though rise of Darkrai was a decent step back towards coolness. (no human tries to catch legendary plot-this repetitive, predictable stock plot has really worn thin on me)

Lucario and the Mystery of Mew by far is my favorite, it sparked my love of Lucario. Celebi: Voice of the Forest and the Power of One are close second and third for me.

I love PR and the temple of the sea the mos, cause it's the first time I saw a pokemon ranger, and I kinda loved that part. I also heart manaphy a lot, he's so kawaii. Other than that, I also like pokemon 4ever, since they meet the younger version of oak and never realise it, though in one episode he definately says that he was called sammy with the fast hands (ok, I don't know the english version, I only know the dutch one)

Mewtwo Strikes Back and Lucario and the Mystery of Mew were great stories with a bit of tearjerking close to the end -- my favorite kind of movie. Plus, I loved Mew's adorable behavior in both of them. <3

Then there's Power of One, which has my all-time favorite legendary, Lugia. It was actually that very movie that started my Lugia obsession. I just loved how for such a powerful Pokemon, Lugia seemed so kind and willing to help.

The only ones I don't like very much are Temple of the Unown, Destiny Deoxys, and the three most recent ones (Rise of Darkrai was okay though).

The only ones I haven't seen are Pokemon Heroes and Arceus and the Jewel of Life (seen part of that and it wasn't very good...).

I basically liked all of the ones with Misty in them. But Heroes and 2000 were probably my favorites.

As nostalgic as the first few movies were, I'm going to have to say Destiny Deoxys is my all time favorite.

My least favorite part in Pokemon movies is the sad, movie-mush part. Some like Spell of the Unown and Manaphy were almost pure movie mush. Destiny Deoxys had the least movie mush in any of the Pokemon movies. Aside from Tory's fear of Pokemon and Sid's crush on May, this movie was mush free. For the most part it was Raquaza and Deoxys beating the living crap out of one another as if it was a Godzilla film. Plus it had the right amount of mystery, thrills, and subtle comedy. "Gotta Catch Them All!" And even after the godzilla-esk action, the climax with the security bots is just ridiculous in a cosmic way. Just think about that scene and you can't help but laugh. My Favorite.

And did you notice how every Pokemon movie has some giant mechanical craft or building?

I loved Spell of the Unown.
I haven't seen it for quite a few years now, but I just loved the interactions between the young girl and Entei
I remember really liking the first four movies, but after that I didn't like them so much. Lucario and the Mystery of Mew was alright, though.

I love the power of one.

It was really fun and awsomeness.
The giratina was also cool with shaymin.
And I liked the unown's cool power in the spell of unown.

My least favorite is mewtwo's movies.

pokemon 2000 was awesome with lugia and all that sweet stuff but pokemon the first movie was very touching and made me cry hahah ya it's the sad truth plus it was cool how the movie and the anime intertwined

My favorite is MSB; I identify so much with Mewtwo.

But has anyone noticed...

The First Movie deconstructs the idea of becoming a Pokemon Master. By deconstruction, I mean it sort of takes the ideas something is based on and shows how they don't work. So I mean, the first movie shows the pointlessness of battling and being a master by showing how it only hurts all these Pokemon, and it shows a master who only got that way because he's messed up in the head. It also shows how cruel the idea of Pokemon is, you know, enslaving these living, thinking, feeling creatures to do your gruntwork and fight for you.

Pokemon 2000 deconstructs the idea of "Gotta Catch 'Em All," especially with the legendaries. Catch all the Pokemon? Even the ones who control the weather? Yeah, nice job breaking it hero.

And the third movie kind of attacks the escapism in Pokemon. You know, I'm this sad little kid with no power in my life, so I'm going to make up these awesome creatures to make me feel like I have come control over my sad, miserable existence.

I haven't gone after 4 with a critical eye yet; the only reason I could do that with the first movie, despite my emotional connection, is that I've seen it upwards of 20 times. 4, I cried like a baby, but I only watched it once.

I loved Mewtwo's story. I saw the movie in theaters when I was younger and it was a treasured moment in my life. Pikachu still makes my eyes water.

I should have voted for the first movie but because of Suicune I went with the 4th one. I watched it the other night again so it might have been why I picked it as well lol.

Well, apart from the original three (they were my childhood! I still have them on VHS!), I think Heroes and Giratina And The Sky Warrior had the best plots (and the best Pokemon). Oh, and Lucario - that one still makes me cry XD

Zoroark: Master of Illusions. I just find Zoroark and Zorua's parent/child relationship to be really sweet. Celebi's in it too, a big plus - it's my favorite legendary.

To be honest, I don't really watch the anime much. I tend to watch a random pokemon movie though and Mewtwo strikes back, Jarachii the wishmaker, and the spell of the unknown were pretty good for me. And for some reason though, when I see Jarachii I feel like speaking in third person. XP This also happens when I'm playing some pokemon game and I happen to have Jarachii.

Jarachii says that pie is the most amazing thing ever. :> *Random Moment*

The Power Of One, mainly as it had all 3 legendary birds in it, as well as Lugia, my favourite Legendary pokemon.

Although it is the only one that can never fit into the series properly.

Hard decision! The Pokemon movies are some of the best movies, especially the first three, but I am going to say Lucario and the Mystery of Mew! That film was epic in so many ways. I mean, it starts off with the past, making it feel like a fantasy movie briefly! And oh my gosh, the feels....gaaaah...
