Welcome to the Wulfenite Wulves, where the wulf pack can unite as one!
Our mission is to keep up team morale, help each other out, and generally have a good time!

Requirements
- You MUST be Wulfenite to join this group.
- Your account must be at least two weeks old.
- You click a minimum of 100 clicks a day.
This requirement will not be enforced, but definitely encouraged. Please think twice about joining if you aren't going to be very active.
Rules
- Please do not post until you have been accepted into the group! All questions should be PM'd to me.
- Be respectful of one another, everyone puts effort into this site and putting people down really doesn't help, whether they can click 100 clicks in an hour or 10000.
- No flaming or insulting the other affinities. Yes this is a group just for us Wulfs, but it's for building morale in OUR team, not putting down the others. I have good friends in other affinities, and I'm sure many others do too.
- Stick to GTS+ rules, if I see anyone breaking them, I WILL report you, and I encourage all members to do this too.
- Put 'Joltiktok' in your application to show you've read the rules.
- Shinies aren't really relevant to this group unless they are Orange shinies, please refrain from posting bragging about your newest shiny unless you have other stuff to discuss. You're more than welcome to mention that you've hatched shinies, just make sure it's not the bulk and sole reason for your post.
- No begging. I will be putting up a list of people who are collecting certain trinkets, this will be there for if people are kind enough to gift you their spares, PLEASE do NOT go around begging people for spare trinkets!
- Have fun, raise morale, and as a whole, feel good about your team! :)
Rules are subject to change, please keep checking back and make sure you stay fresh on the rules.

This is our Trinket Collector's list. Certain people like to collect certain trinkets, so if you find you have an abundance of certain trinkets that are either too high a rarity to Sky Gift, or you just feel like being nice, check this list to see if anyone wants to collect them! Likewise, if you collect a trinket, go ahead and PM me or post in the thread, and I'll add you and your Trinket to the list. Max of three trinkets, though it can be summed up as "anything with Pidgey" etc, etc.

Many of us play the Pokémon games, and that's a big part of why we're here, on GPX. It certainly is for me, at least. So why not share this experience with your fellow Wulves?
Here is a list of our member's palpad codes, PM me or post in the thread if you want to be added to this list. Please remember to include the game the code is for in your message!
PLEASE REMEMBER: Palpad codes do not work both ways, if you add someone, they have to add you back before you can do anything! So if you're adding people, please let them know! I would suggest PMing them, as not everyone sees all the posts in this thread, however, please respect that not everyone likes to be hounded with PMs, so if they don't get back to you, you're allowed to pst a quick reminder in this thread and this thread only! If they still don't reply, then please leave it be and respect the other users privacy. Likewise, if someone adds you to their Pal pad, I would like it if you were to reply to them, even if it's to say you won't/can't add them for whatever reason.

Shiny list!
This is a list of all of the yellow and orange shinies in the Pokédex, minus legendaries. My plan is for this list to have at least one person's actual shiny Pokémon next to it, much like the treasury. If you want to submit a shiny, simply post it in the thread, I'm likely to miss a few posts though, so if your shiny isn't added in a couple of days, go ahead and PM me about it.
Duplicates are allowed! Don't be put off from posting if someone else already has the shiny.
For SWSH Pokémon, however, I'm only accepting ONE per member, otherwise we'll be overrun with Bidoof and the like.
If you change the nickname of a Pokémon on this list, PM me and I'll update it.
And for those of you hardcore shiny hunters, here's our legendary list:
And for those of you that are super hunters and have hunted ALL of the ones above, I've put together a list of barely orange/yellow Pokémon for you to hunt. These pokémon will either be questionably yellow/orange, or simply have yellow/orange on them but not dominantly.
*note* Some of these are VERY questionably our colours. They're literally here for people that are bored of the main list, so I don't want to hear any complaints about colours on this list, ok~?

I am excited for this Wulf group! Even if I am a cat. 
It's been great in the July SWSH to have an affinity challenge, and I look forward to more events and activities that focus on our affinities in the future. I haven't been much of a trinket-collector, but I think that's going to change, too, with the help of these groups.
We're in the home stretch of the SWSH, and even though we're in second place right now, that's no reason to throw in the towel! C'mon, Wulfs, we can hatch those shinies! Aroooo!

I'd first of all like to welcome Spacecat, xRainbowDash and Sweeter to the group!
Also, I will actually be keeping track of any future sitewide affinity events in the first post. As we're near to the end of the SWSH this month and I'm still setting up, I won't for this time, but you're all welcome to post updates yourselves and keep morale high!
But don't forget, if we don't win, it's no big deal, we just pick ourselves up and try harder next time!

I'm glad I can be in this group with my fellow Wulfenite mate~
As for this month SWSH, I manage to get for us 5 shinies so far and I'm currently onto the last one which is Rufflet to complete all evolution lines~
Hope that I will make it in time~
For the trinkets I don't usually collect them and I rarely opened the Pokechest but with the new trinket system I might try to complete them but it will takes time though~
That's all from me for now~

So far I hatched seven shinies for the SWSH, most of them being Rufflet, mainly because I find them to be cuter than the other two, but that's my obvious opinion. This has been my most successful SWSH by far. Other times I had a tough time even getting the first shiny I wanted! Hoping we can pull a late victory!

That's the spirit guys, I'm glad our current placing hasn't put a damper on things! I'm currently at 4 shinies, looking for my 5th. Unfortunately for me, I can't hunt Rufflet because I already have my own Rufflet hunt, so I'm sticking to Roggenrola from here on out! Currently almost at 300 hatched~
We may be behind, but if we're going down like that, we'll go down fighting!

I've hatched two shinies for the SWSH, but hunting more isn't really my thing, lol. Especially Rufflet. After my last hunt for it I am quite against further pursuit of it in shiny form.
I've been focusing on other things, like my Stunky HI goal and other shiny hunts. But I'll cheer on my comrades in their hunts! Good luck ~

So far, I've hatched two shinies for the hunt, Roggenrola and Rufflet. I'm working on a second Roggenrola hunt now.
And here's a list of orange shinies and shinies with a good deal of orange on them, in national dex order. Though I may have missed some, and some of you may have a different opinion concerning which are and are not orange. And some Gen II shiny sprites have drastically different colors than later generations, but for the purposes of this list I only considered Gen V.

I'm glad to see my banners in use. XD If anyone has any other requests, do please let me know and I'll see what I can do.
The actual mineral wulfenite has an orange form and a yellow form, and given that there aren't as many orange shinies as they are green or blue, I've suggested to our fearless tik leader that yellow shinies also be considered among our scope--that's why the inclusion of Mightyena and Manectric shinies on the banners.
Today I've hatched two more SWSH shinies, putting me at 10 overall. Gonna keep on hatchin'. WULFENITE HWAITING!

Ahhh Harmony, thanks so much again! It is a long list, but what I'll do is take legends out and put them in a seperate list for those that want to hunt the legendaries. ^^
As soon as I'm home, my plan is to list them all much like in the Shiny Treasury thread, rather than having things like a big shiny hunt, then people can hunt the Pokémon at their own discretion rather than stressing to hatch them in a set time. ^^ Not to mention, I don't have nearly enough trinkets to give prizes for something like that. :p
So once I've set that post up, feel free to list your orange/yellow shinies and I'll add them to the list. ^^

I can volunteer my trinket supply for prizes. I'm not super-duper twitchy about completionism in my trinket collection, so I wouldn't mind if we had a future contest to offer some of my supply.
I'm personally going to set out for a shiny Manectric and shiny Mightyena for Wulf Pack representation. But for now my focus remains on the SWSH and hatching as many Bidoofs, Rufflets, and Roggenrolas as I can.

Ohh thanks so much Molly. But I won't start thinking about contests until the SWSH is over at least. I personally want to steer away from shiny hunts though, as the SWSH is stressful enough for some members, but I may hold Dress ups and other more chilled out, fun things.

Since it's Charizard, that means I'm right in assuming Wulfenite is fire, while Azurite and Malachite are water and grass, respectively.
I've mean meaning to do a Shiny Poochyena hunt, and now I actually have a reason for it, yay!
Still looking for that Roggenrola for the SWSH, though.

As for the SWSH, got my 5th shiny yesterday, another Roggen for my collection! Rather gutted that I can't hunt Rufflet at the moment though, I've still got an on going Rufflet hunt from long before the SWSH. 
But Roggen are pretty, so I'll keep up with those. <3
EDIT: I've added a little part of the Trinket post in that will be most useful to Trinket collectors. Go check it out. (it's the second post, btw~

You can't see someone else's trinket collection, I don't know if they will make it so you can.
I have extra ditto pillows and rusty cogs, if those people would like to add me to their palpad I'd gladly gift. I collect the eevee and its evolution things and all plushies/stuffed toys.
We could also hold scavenger hunts, puzzles or even exploration type contests too. Maybe we could do a team thing with someone creating challenges for people to do, I've had some experience with this last one and have had fun with it. I really miss it so it would be great to give it a try.

Nah, there's no way to see a person's collection. The closest you can do is see how many each person on your palpad has of a certain trinket by finding the trinket, going to gift it, then looking at the list. Or you can see all the trinkets you have that certain people on your palpad don't have, but that's not very useful for hoarders.
Sorry it took so long guys, but I've updated the trinket post. I won't be doing that alphabetically, it's more of a first come first serve basis, those who get in quick get to the top. I know it's not always fair that way, but it also means that people that have names beginning with 'z' etc get more of a chance. You're more than welcome to request to be moved down the list, however, if you believe you've gotten a fair share of trinkets and want someone else to have a chance. This only really applies for people that want the same trinkets as others though, and I'd hope that people would try to share them out evenly, at least until there's more members and this becomes harder.
Of course, you're not obligated to gift, nor ask to be moved down, so don't feel you have to. The list is just there to help people~
This sounds like an awesome idea! I'm not very good with challenges myself, so I can even make it so that members can submit their own challenges and I'd give one a day to you all.
I don't think I'd be able to give prizes for this though, as it's a hard thing to keep track of, but it's a good idea for people that just feel they have nothing to do between Scavenger hunts and SWSHs.

I don't think we'll be able to catch the Malachites in the shiny hunt but we did really well starting out!
The same can be said for my own hunts... I managed to get my first 4 shinies of the hunt relatively quickly and then this last one took me 700+ Bidoofs. 
Hopefully we'll have better luck next go around!

Hi everyone! I've just been accepted, and I'd just like to say hi to everyone!
As for the SWSH, we started off with a good lead, but I guess we won't be able to catch up to the Malachites now >_> Guess we'll just have to try extra hard next time >:) I managed to hatch a Shiny Rufflet (460 eggs) and a Shiny Roggenrola (90 eggs) for the hunt. I found a Lv 100 Shiny Bibarel in the shelter not so long ago (along with a shiny fossil Tirtuga, presumably from a ban drop) so I didn't see the need to shiny hunt one.
Anywho, what does everyone think of the new battle subway? I think it's going to be awesome, finally some other trainers to battle in the battle tower!

I'm not a huge battler so I probably won't use the subway. I did want to make a team of pure high IV'd Joltik, but then I found out about the 'no prevolutions' rule. 
But oh well, I'll make another team at some point.
I hope whoever does use it finds it fun though.

Oh wow! That's one powerful Shinx. I may eventually get around to making a team with my 165 IV Valentacruel in it.
So what do you guys think of the new NPC? Never going to go against them, personally, because I'm a terrible battler.
I hope that they put some easier NPCs in soon, ones that are easy peasy for the experienced battlers but are just generally good fun for people like me, because I feel a little excluded from the BT at the moment. Joey is the only easy NPC and I don't even have any Pokémon in his level range. Weaker lvl 100s please! xD

It was actually the parent of my Shiny Luxray. Guess I never saw the IVs.
The NPCs now have boosting moves. I just got 6-0ed my Innocent Little Childrens' Chandelure after 2 Nasty Plots.
The Cypress battles and ??? are still pretty easy though.

Hi everyone! I've just been accepted, and I'd just like to say hi to everyone! I managed to get shiny Gigalith and Bibarel for this month's SWSH. I hatched 69 rufflets so far and no shiny. I have a spare Girafarig Plushie,11 rusty cog,5 ditto pillow I could gift.

I battled them several times but lost most of the times I battled them. I'm not that big of a battler either but I sometimes do it to get more points and valuable items. I would need to change my team over if that's the case. I'm hoping for some easier NPCs soon as well.

It would be nice if they added the feature to see others trinkets, even if it's just to your palpad.
I don't like to battle and just do it if an exploration requires it (it's a shame there are so many battle-related achievements ). So I don't think I'll be using the subway.

I really disliked it when they added battles to explorations. I just get so frustrated about loosing 15+ times before I can get past the task. The only exploration I have ever canceled was because of that (Genesect). But until I can get tons of point to buy Vouchers I gotta keep trying with the explorations.

Ferro is nice, but now Ferro won't solo every battle, thanks to Fire Gem mons, Haze, and Psych Up. I've actually cound myself relying on teammates. Guess what? Ferro has 5 teammates!
Now I feel that the Tower is actually challenging for once. You now have to build a good team around Ferrothorn or else you won't win. Some people hate this, but I like it.

It's not that I hate building a team around Ferro, but I'm really not good enough t. I can't win with what ever team I make now, because I'm just that bad.
What I'd really like is an NPC at level 100 that you can literally make any team and have a chance at winning. I don't mean make everything a cake walk, although it would be for expert battlers and anyone that's not as stupid as me, but I want it to be like the games, where I can use my favourites and have a hope of winning.

Contests are definitely in the future for the group. I'm just waiting for the SWSH to be over and done with for now though, we have enough contest with that going on!
I think the first contest will be a Dress up contest, if everyone's okay with that? Something nice and easy going to get our creative juices flowing. I'd have to talk to those who offered forwards their trinkets for prizes too~
I'll get to adding those shinies to the list now. Very unique Venusaur.

Oh yes! I did forget about Rufflet. Rufflet isn't orange -really-, I'd say it's light brown, but its ever so slight orange tint and the orange feather definitely is enough to put it in the "questionables" list.

Ahhh the Pudgy. <3 I haven't actually added any Novelties yet, although I'm not sure there are any to add other than Pudgy and Bidofo, I'll add your shiny to the list and then go scour the Wiki for shiny Novelties and make a list.

And well, it was basically a race as to who can hatch the most shinies before the end of the hunt. Malachite won with over 1000 shinies. I'm not sure about figures at the end, but we were second with either close to 1000 or just over 1000 shinies.

WE'RE STARTING OUR CONTEST TODAY.
That's right, we're starting a dress up contest! I'll update the first post as soon as I'm done editing shinies, but for those of you that get to read this first:
You have until August 14th to PM me ONE orange or yellow themed dress up!
This means the Pokémon has to be orange or yellow, it can be shiny or non-shiny. One Pokémon each please! Entries end at reset on the 14th, any dress ups received after this will NOT be entered! At some point on the 15th I will put all the entries up for a vote. The amount of time given for voting depends on how many entries I get, as I may have to split them into several votes, or there may be few enough for just one vote.
Entries MUST exist on GPX, no taking a sprite and editing it on Photoshop or other programs please, and PM me the dress up image that links to the Pokémon that has been dressed up!
Prizes are unknown at the moment, but chances are they're either trinkets from one of our wonderful volunteers, or some form of graphic from myself.
I believe that's it, so get designing!.

That might be a good idea for the future. o: But for now, if you guys know any Malachites/Azurites, I'll encourage you to race them for affinity shinies~ Could be fun! I'm going to be racing Jaysus once he makes some space in his recorder.

You know what I'm annoyed by? Before I started my Sh. Charmander hunt, the shelter was full of Charmander eggs. Now I can only find them after I click 'Show More' 12 times, unless I use a Sweet Honey. Every time I start a hunt, their eggs seem to disappear from the shelter, even if there were loads of them before I started my hunt.

@Joltik: Right?! When I first started hunting Mudkip, there were next to none in the shelter so I kept waiting for my Darycare pair to breed. Whenever I trolled the Shelter though, I kept seeing Totodile eggs, so I'm like "I'll hunt Totodile too!" Then all the Toto eggs disappeared....

I wan't a gold shiny (what's why I'm hunting Swalub) but if I hunt for Charmander I think I would do it twice. One to evolve and the other to leave it as it is ^^

I know what you mean about not hunting as much as you'd like. ^^' My hunts have been going on for a long time, some since last year, and I haven't hatched all that many for them. Ohh Shiny Charmander! Good choice.
I have a shiny Charizard already, cause I absolutely adore them, but I plan on rehunting for Charmander and Charmeleon too at some point~And aye, that's exactly what I'm thinking.

With the Charmeleon, I say it depends on what you want to do really, I fully evolved my first Charmander shiny because I absolutely love shiny Charizard, but if you can wait another hunt for it, then rehunting sounds fine.

MikiMin; I always thought the pass orbs were given depending the amount of interactions you give & receive. Like if you give me 6 and I give you 6 so then we both get 6 pass orbs.

It's 1 pass orb for every 100 interactions (so you do 100 interactions and get 100 interactions back from them) Here's the help info for it
After reset, users will be awarded however many whole number Pass Orbs were earned the day before, with any fractional Pass Orbs lost.

Haha, welcome anyway, and good luck with the Bidoof hunt! My SWSH Doof hunt was 776 eggs long, not fun! Haha.
Also, glad a lot of the entries are getting votes! Makes this all the more interesting. :p No one likes a one-horse race, eh?
Edit: Also, I did originally say that the voting would end when every member has voted but... There's no way to tell when that is, as there's no way to tell whether people not in the group are voting, nor is there a way to stop them. With the amount of views we've gotten, I wouldn't be surprised if at least some of those 26 votes weren't our members, so I'm just going to run it until the deadline.
It does seem a little unfair that outsiders are allowed to vote, but I really don't have any way of stopping that, and I guess regardless of whether there are outsiders voting or not, the winner will still be the one with the most votes. Sorry there isn't much I can do to make that any fairer guys.
It only really hit me that this might happen because the Azurites have 43 votes on their poll and unless Sam hasn't been updating their member list, I really don't think they have that many members yet.

What I do have are mons with good IVs. Which makes me wonder, does anyone else in this group care about IVs?
No, not on GPX+. In-game.
The odds of meeting a shiny Pokemon are 1 in 8,192 (2^13). The odds of meeting a perfect IVed Pokemon is 1 in 2^30 (grab your calculator). The odds of meeting a perfect IVed, Shiny, ideal nature Pokemon are 2^13*2^30*25.
Needless to say, that's not very likely.
But there is a way to do it: PRNG Manupulation.
The game runs on a pseudo-random number generator, operating based on one certain seed, generated when you start the game up. By using a certain software developed by some very nice people over at Smogon, you can simply enter the time of day you turned on your DS, and it will show you how many frames you need to advance for your perfect mon.
Advancing frames is easy. Taking one step in some games is one frame. In the Sinnoh games, flipping through your journal advances a ton of frames.
Oh yeah, you need a good seed. A perfect IV Jolly Magikarp on Frame 100000 is probably gonna take a couple days. One time I was RNGing Latios in SoulSilver, and I got a Timid perfect IV Shiny Latios on a rather low frame. I haven't actually RNGed for a while now, so I don't really remember that much. I do still have that Latios.
It's not hacking, it's legit. Some think it's unfair, but sometimes the whole process takes a few hours. Isn't that better than trying to stumble upon one?
I want to hear your opinions on IVs, shininess, and RNGing.

I use RNG, have a perfect IV'd shiny Roggenrola and an almost perfect (one stat has 0 IVs. ._.) shiny Joltik from it. It's not the easiest process unless you can get your head around a lot of info, especially if you follow Smogon's topics about it. The only way I learnt was from watching videos of people doing it, to get used to it.
I only ever RNG on Platinum though, it's a tonne easier than the other games to advance frames and also easier than the other 4th gen games to catch a level 50 Pokémon due to the Magikarp in the fight area.
I don't really see it as hacking, although I do see how many people might see it as it, as it's influencing the game. I do try to argue the case that it's simply using what the game has to offer though. -shrugs-
That's my two cents on it anyway.
Also I will add, while I'm happy to let people voice their opinions on this, lets not let this discussion go on too long okay? There might be users that know nothing about it and feel a little left out because they can't contribute.
Also I wanna say that if you feel you can't contribute, you're more than welcome to still post updates and anything else you want to post, don't feel you're interrupting or anything.

I don't really battle that much anymore, so I don't use RNG (what's the point?)/ I would reccomend RNG to anyone who wants to battle in VGC and other tournaments like it, but if you're battling your friends, EV training and Nature breeding is enough.
In case it seems too hard, there's always PO and PS to battle on, though those kinda take away the effort of getting those Pokemon. (To use Belly Drum Extremespeed Zigzagoon you have to RNG the event Zigzagoon's egg, then Pomeg glitch it so it knows Belly Drum, then hatch it and hope you did everything correctly. On PO you simply set the moves.)
Believe it or not, I actually suck at competitive battling. Now that Soul Dew is released and Latios and Latias are going straight back up to Uber, I'm gonna quit completely, and just hang out, and do some stuff on Pokemon sites.
EDIT: I still battle, because it's the main aspect of Pokemon. Right now, though, I prefer anime-style battling. No fear of losing suddenly when you are winning 5-1. Also, no IVs or EVs to worry about either.

I think the Pokémon games are the only games that I'm actually truely good at, and I'd still never competitive battle or anything like that. It takes all the fun out of it imo. You have to pick Pokémon for their stats and not just because you like them. I'd love to just go ahead and battle with a team of my favourites.
RNG, really, I only use for shinies, because everyone has Pokémon that they prefer the shiny over the non-shiny aha.
Also, just as a warning to you guys, I recently got myself a part time job, so I may not be able to post -as- much, I'll still be on here regularly though so don't worry, you won't be neglected. Just thought I'd warn you all in case I don't show for a little bit.

As for RNG, I fully support it, even though I am terrible at abusing the RNG. I prefer to find my shinies the usual way, but I do have a flawless shiny Timid Ditto I use for breeding purposes, which has given some of my bred shinies some awesome IVs, even when I wasn't looking for them (My shiny Swoobat ingame has 31 in Sp.Attack, Sp.Def, Attack, Speed and HP at 17 and Def at 10) which is pretty damn good for a random shiny Tbh, if you battle competitively over wi-fi, it's just easier to hack the pokemon in. That's what most of the people I fought did. It's easier than RNG, and who has the time to EV train and level the whole team to 100, and get enough points in the Battle Subway to get good items, etc. It's just too much hassle.
As for battling competitively, I used to, but not any more. It just got a bit boring after a while. The best I ever got was around rank 500 on the Smogon server ladder on PO.
Anywho. Has anyone seen the new icon for the Mobile Walker? I think the pink looks quite nice

So how's everyone getting on with the Scavenger hunt?
I've managed to do all of them so far, hoping to 100% this one, but the high level ones keep falling on days I have to work! It's been a struggle, haha.Any tasks you prefer/absolutely detest?
I personally hate the nature ones, because although they're easy with influence power, I KEEP forgetting to use it! I did it today with a Mienfoo, luckily I'm hatching Torchic for a shiny hunt though so I used one of the ones I had in my party and actually remembered to influence it. ^^

So far, I've completed all but today's task. I have a Gentle Scraggy, but I haven't gotten around to leveling him up yet.
There aren't any tasks that I particularly hate. I used to dislike ones that required a really high-leveled Pokemon, but it's not a big deal now that I've been using the berry feeder. Trinket tasks are only bad if they ask for a high rarity, and that doesn't seem to happen a lot.
I like color tasks. They give me plenty of freedom to choose the easiest Pokemon to raise.

I've completed all the tasks, including today's. I used to hate Trinket tasks but now that I hoard the chests it's not so bad. *prods her pile of 489 chests* @@ They're now the ones I prefer above other tasks, lol. Just open and complete, whoopwhoop.
I hate tasks involving certain requirements that basically mean only a few Pokemon are capable of being used for completion, since it means competing with everyone else for eggs.

Turns out I didn't need any of the legends for this month's explos, so I just got myself a Zekrom, and am working on a Regigigas for the sake of shinies.
On the plus side though guys, it's Shiny hunt month!. I'm hoping they'll do the Affinity challenge again so that this group can be used for its true purpose, motivation!

Are people still interested in doing a group challenge? I have some stuff that I've been working on for it if people are interested. having at least two groups of three would be great, but having teams of three or four would be wonderful. I'm not sure if anyone is interested or how many people we have in the group. Here's a quick rundown of how it would work if anyone is interested or curious:
it would be a 7 week thing. There would be one task for each week. It would start Friday about 7am server time and end at reset on wednesday. Thursday would be a break and the day where scores are tallied and updated. this way no one has to be on all the time and can do the challenge when they can. Participation is a factor in scoring, so if someone is not helping it will hurt the team. I would give options to drop out or take a time-out from one challenge if an emergency happens or something important needs to be done.
Points will be given for: participation, posting all the information/answers for the task correctly, following the requirements of the task and for whatever specifications the particular task requires.
The tasks will consist of different things, from using gpx itself to creative pokemon-themed tasks. Something I thought of to help is to set up a google document account for each team to converse about each task, so that the other teams cannot see and so participation can be judged. I will host them on my account and will allow the team members to edit and view the document. this will help with creative tasks to keep everyone's thoughts together and everyone coordinated.
The team with the most points at the end of the 7 weeks will be declared the winner and trinket prizes, as well as an artwork surprise will be handed out, if someone would be willing to do the artwork.
Maybe we can put a poll up to see if people would like to try it? if someone has suggestions, they are welcomed to post or pM me about it.

I also meant to mention if someone has a different number for how many weeks it should run, please let me know. I picked 7 so that it would take a while and teams could earn points but wouldn't be too too long and therefore get boring/tedious.

I also want to pose a question to people. There is a company that makes tea that make figurines that I have been collecting for years. Until very recently, I was finding them at yard sales and flea markets. I discovered that their 100 bag box comes with a figurine from the new sets. I want to buy them but i absolutely hate drinking tea. does anyone have ideas that I can use the tea for so i can buy them?

I voted for Axew in the SWSH since I both want a good-IVed Axew, and because the main Pokemon of my future ASB Dragon Gym team is Haxorus (Currently an Axew).

honestly it sounds like a good idea but i wouldnt be interested 7 weeks with participation a factor its alot of time to divulge into the site with school starting back up for people people in collage and people like myself who have jobs that interfere with the site

It's not required to be on all the time. By participation I mean that each person contributes an idea and/or a small part to the task. The only way you lose participation points is if you don't post at all, essentially. Posting that you're trying and your idea if a task requires it is what I will be looking for. I've designed the tasks to not take a long time, that way you can come and go as you need. That's also a reason that I made them 6 days and one day for not having to do a task. There might be one or two weeks that require a little more dedication but I'll save those for times when people can devote more time (like winter/summer breaks).
I hope that makes a little more sense. I wanted this to be what you do to take a break from the job/school, not a chore.
And to answer your question Mareepiea, I don't want to give them away entirely but I've done tasks like battling, story telling, finding certain pokemon, a few drawing tasks, things like that. I have another idea I'm playing with that involves games but I'm not sure I can do one of those at this time. It takes a little more planing than I thought.

Looks like it will, too. As are Gastly and Beldum, but I like Shiny Haxorus the most.

i need a gastly like maturity egg in the hunt to be active participant in it im not around on multiplier weekends during hunts i have to work weekends so my big point is during the week gastly sized eggs dont take long to hatch so i can hopfully hatch at LEAST 3 of them one for each stage of evolution and then try axew for giggles

I'm happy with Gastly and Ralts being at the top, I need both shinies several times, and its bound to take a few Ralts for me to get a male with my gender luck. I do wish that Dratini and Axew would swap places though, I don't really want to hunt either, as they're 10k eggs, but at least Axew would let me continue looking for a high IV one while I hatched.

I'm just sad that my Gigamorph breeding pair hasn't bred a shiny Rola yet, they've only bred one shiny and it was my Roggenmorpha. I want to help some more people finish their roggen hunts, rather than all those rola going to waste. ):

i hear ya there my rufflett hunt lasted me over 700 eggs thats my longest (its a braviary now so it no wulf anymore) but after the rola shiny hunt alot of them dont get adopted cuz most users have a shiny one now

Can I just say something? When someone wants the team to win this competition, they should do "everything" they can to help win the competition. I'm putting everything in quotation marks because I think it's fair to not have only hunt eggs in your party for the rest of the month. The point is, I don't want people to say with what looks like we're going to win, when they stop hunting for the shines because they have all the shines they want. I'm under the impression that if you want to win the competition, you want to hatch as many shines as possible. I don't want to say this because I don't like that users on our team isn't hunting the shines until the end of the month. I'm saying it because I want us to win, and the important thing to do to achieve a victory is to keep going. And I don't look down on our guys because they don't hatch as many shines as I do, looking at the last SWSH makes me feel alone, come on guys, beat me to the most shines hatched.
I'm I alone in this thought process, or do you guys agree?
Oh and I'm also in this because SWSHs are fun to do, not just the prize.

I got super lucky with the SWSH and already got my ralts n_n This is the first shiny hunt I've done for the site, so that was exciting. 9th egg.

i agree completely i try to get as many as i can but last hunt i ran into time constraints and this hunt im all in but im useless on the weekends due to work so im out of most multiplier days for 90% of the day so hopefully i can grab a shiny or two to help the cause for our affinity

I don't think there should be the affinity race, the shiny hunt should just be about people hunting shinies, not having a race within a race.

I'm writing this while having a little mini break from math homework. Yeah, you shouldn't prioritize the site over any real life obligations or anything. I mean that you should prioritize the way you use the site when you use it during the rest of the month to go for the win, and by prioritizing, I don't mean the 100% SWSH focus and nothing else matters, but some effort, and not say you're finished before the competition is over.
And I like the affinity competition. It gives me an actual reason to take full advantage of the SWSH. Before there was an affinity competition, I would hunt for the shines I didn't have in my shine dex, and stop because there was no reason for me to keep hunting. Now there is, and I like it.
Unless I haven't made it clear, I'm all for people to not do what they don't want to do. If winning the competition isn't something you care about, don't feel pressured.

well my eggs hatched got up to 162 from 99 thats far more then 40 more :P but alas no shiny ghostie yet and i have to go to work :/ hopefully tomorrow after i get out of work i can get the blue-gasmon

For some reason I had the impression that only your first win got you anything, but I'll start another one if it's going to count!

Your first win will get you the prize. Like say for this hunt the prize is a novelty voucher: it doesn't matter if you hatched one shiny or 10 shinies (or none, as the new rules says if you hatch over 750 eggs you get the prize too) You're only going to get one voucher. But for the extra part, which is each affinity against each other, every shiny you hatch counts toward that total number.

Working rather slowly with my hunt. Just hatched 30 Dratini eggs so far. I was sick since the day the SWSH began. It wasn't really pleasant. =3=
And then my mid terms are coming up, albeit at the end of the SWSH, but still... tons and tons of quizzes before the mid terms. =3=
Although... knowing my luck... meh, I'll take it that I'll only reach 100 eggs by the end of the hunt if I don't find any. =w=
The very least is that I bred a shiny Dratini, and it's owned by a fellow Wulfenite. Hey, at least I contributed, right? =w=
