This group's owner, Lotus Flower has not been active since the 6th Jan '12, and has not edited the first post since 10th Dec '11, which is somewhat over the 2 month limit.
Because it is important for groups to be kept up to date, particularly big ones such as this, I am putting out a tender for a new owner. To apply, just PM me stating your rank within this group, and a brief explanation of why you think you would make a good leader for this group. Doesn't have to be more than a paragraph or two. The deadline for applications will be Sat 17th March, with a decision being reached on Sun 18th March. This gives everyone plenty of time to apply. The new owner will then have up to a week to submit a new group thread. The code from the first post will be provided to assist with this. It will be at the new owners discretion whether or not existing members will have to re-apply to be part of the new group. If you have any questions don't hesitate to PM me. There's no point posting questions here, as I don't tend to check individual group thread regularly. The current group will remain open for the time being and will be closed on Sat 17th March Finally, please note that these dates are subject to change. Hello, and welcome to the Shiny Lovers! As the name clearly states, we are a group of people who love shinies! We are not those who would shove them into boxes and never again care, we are the ones who truly appreciate our shinies! For those of us who have gotten a shiny know that wonderful feeling when your Pokemon comes out with the different colors, and for those of us who don't, we pine over the thought. But whether you want or you have a shiny, if you love shinies, this is the place for you! Rules TO JOIN You must either have A) 1 or more shinies or B) be searching for a shiny, and be hunting at least one on your shine recorder. Also, C) You must have a shine recorder, it's a relatively cheap item that has many perks, so I imagine you have it. (If not, it's only 6,000 points) TO DO -Never EVER insult Shinies within our walls (obviously!) -Be polite to your fellow members and shiny lovers -Please put Shiny Emolga somewhere in your form (all the better if you have one :P) -This is not a place to rant about not having A shiny or MORE shinies -Please do not cuss (if you can't stop yourself, just don't cuss A LOT) OPTIONAL (but I'd like it if you did) -Please inform me of any name changes you may have -Please post any new shinies you have come across here -In the future we may have an invitation system in which we recruit members, but for now, we just go by who wants to join, so please don't fill this thread AND my inbox with 'XXX has shiny YYYY'!
