Magikarp novelties and sweet honey, sweet honey not applying to my novelty hunts |

I currently have two shiny hunts going on for the novelty magikarp (white and pink, though I noticed this with calico too). These hunts both have over 15 eggs (around 100 each at time of posting). I have noticed that when I use the sweet honey item in the shelter, the only eggs that appear are skiddo eggs (my only non-novelty hunt), despite seeing my hunted novelty magikarp on the regular shelter page both before and after using sweet honey.
This happens consistently on both my laptop and phone. For my laptop, I run Windows 10 with Google Chrome version 60.0.3112.113. For my phone, it's an Android and I play GPXPlus on Google Chrome. --------------------  |
