Hello! I'm not sure if this has been discussed before but I noticed mobile walker sometimes gives me around 300km when I activate it on my PC. Needless to say it throws my pkm straight to lvl. 100 :p
I'm not sure what to do about it? I don't know if it's exploiting a bug but I can't seem to figure out why it happens. It only happens sometimes too, and it works fine on my phone.

Totally...useless

If you can do something that with a high degree of predictability results in this, then you might consider letting someone in staff know about how this can be done, over a private message so that as few people as necessary get to know the exploit.

Otherwise, the technology used for determining your location might have a varying degree of accuracy. For example: you phone might use gps to get your location accurately, while your PC uses your IP address to determine your location, which can result in anything from your location, to your city, to the location of your internet service provider or something completely different. Point is, it's a common bug that happens due to the (different) underlying technologies.

I can't really tell when it'll happen. All I know is that it only happens on PC..
what do I do then? Just keep using mobile anyway?

If it's not something you can control, then the official word is you can keep using your mobile walker as normal. If you happen to get a hundred levels worth of distance that's not your fault and so not bug abuse. A lot of people have the same sort of problem because frankly location detection on a PC with no GPS or anything... sucks.
