So, in the new games Heart Gold/Soul Silver, obviously we all know your Pokemon follow behind you. But have you ever turned to them, talked to the Pokemon and had them do something that seemed... out of the ordinary? Like something they would never do?

Here's an example...

One day I turned to my Geodude and it said it was nipping at the ground. Last time I checked, a Geodude wouldn't do that... unless it was eating rocks but... we were in a building so I doubt that. o_o

So, have you ever turned to your Pokemon and fund them doing something they would never/could never do but were doing anyway? Share it here. <3 I'd love to see~

I was in the Ruins of Alph, and I was in this really dark shed, I remember seeing my Bayleef, "picking on something". I found it a tad strange, but then again Pokemon can see in the dark too.

Seems your Bayleef might have been picking at something on the walls. Or maybe an Unown escaped and Bayleef was picking at that.

Here's something else I've got to share. (Again, it's with the nipping at the ground thing)

I happened to be right outside the Goldenrod Department Store, after picking up a crap load of berries from my mother, it said my Onix was picking at my feet, or something like that.

Um, with Onix's size, I don't think it could pick at my feet without doing some damage like crushing them. o_o Awkward~

My Furret was poking at my bag, and then it asked me if I wanted to scold it. I said no, and it said that Scout thinks poking my bag is funny.

Well, a few days ago when I got the game, I was outside of the Azelea Town entrance at the time of the Rocket invade. I decide to turn around and talk to my Croconaw. He spins around a few times, then a chat box pops up saying, "Your Pokemon smells smoke."

I knew Azelea Town couldn't be on fire, but I was still pretty scared. o_o

my togepi was holding something and the game asked me if I'd like to take it but togepi wouldn't let go and got mad. He roared a couple of times and I thought it was funny. this little guy roaring was just funny to me.

I had my arceus and i was outside of the sinjoh ruins and its said it looked into the sky and yelled/roared or something like that. The arceus event i say is the most random thing pokemon has done. it starts showng random pictures of space and cities and stuff

Weirdest that's happened to me;
I was at the Miltank ranch with my shiny Meowth. I turned to him, it saying he ate something, asking if I wanted to open it's mouth or not. I did and it said it was eating trash. ._. It kept doing that and I finally said no and it started to choke on the trash, getting mad at me for it..
Next my red gyarados started to move closer to me and poking my feet. O_o I thought it was gonna eat me.
And last my Furret was having 'interests' with the Lighthouse's Ampharos .__.

Anyways, I was walking through the grass on Route 30 on my way to Mr. Pokémon's house the first day I got my games (Yes, I reserved both.) I turned to talk to Arashi (That's my Cyndaquil-now Quilava's nickname) and it gave me, "Arashi is rolling around in the grass!" I'm like, " Just don't set it on fire, OK?"

The next weird one was with Karina (my Hoothoot). I checked on her and it said that she had an item. I tried to take it and she got mad at me. I'm like, "WTF?"

Another weird one in Union Cave: I had Ishii (my Geodude) in the first position in my party and I talked to her and she moved from side to side and it said, "Ishii is dizzy!" I'm like, "Okay..." Now Dena (my Flaafy) is my party leader, but I haven't gotten anything funny from her yet.

My Ho-oh enjoys finding random items that it doesn't want to share with me and gets pissed off if I try to take it......(seriously how the f is a bird that big finding stuff in the grass.....)
Lugia likes playing in the grass....(okay its not awkward to see a gigantic fish bird playing in the grass....)
Heatran/Giratina likes to nibble at my feet....(what are they trying to eat me now......)
Another creepyish one is my metagross and grachomp like to stare down at me

Also, an Arceus my friend traded me was nipping at my feet as well. Lolwut...

I traded over the Sinnoh Dragon Trio. All three, when I talked to them, poked at my feet. Arceus did the same thing. :P Also, I like how when I talk to Mamoswine right before the ice path, it says. "Woah! A cold wind just blew by. And it's happy?"

Also, my Typhlosion is having mood swings.
"TYPHLOSION is making an angry face!
TYPHLOSION is enjoying walking with you!
TYPHLOSION turned its back to you with a defiant expression!"

None of this is quite as awesome as a huggling Gyarados. Then Ampharos got a little zap at the power plant. Oh, and my Dragonite was being an attention whore earlier, and Politoed was happy to have taken a shower? LOLWUT.

Yesterday my cyndaquil... (Before i renamed and evolved her to quilava)
ROLLED IN THE GRASS!! Now she`s really happy, then she faced me and smiled, stares at me, walked closer, stares at me, walks even closer, dances, blushes, is shy, dances, hugs me, dances, blushes, then messes with the grass, dances, smeels something good (must be my perfume since what she does next is..) an hugs me. (A happy one tonight isn`t she?)

Snake (Arbok) Is holding something! (He has no arms dude...) Would you like to take it? Silv put the Yellow Flower away in the fashion case. (He picked a flower for me with non-existent hands?!)
Woah! Snake suddenly hugged you! (Again... he has no arms...)
Now he`s dancing! Snake`s cheeks are becoming rosy! He hugged me again... his cheeks are rosier... Because he`s happy but shy?
ROSIER CHEEKS!! Another hug... I SWEAR THAT ARBOK HAS A CRUSH ON ME!!

Psycho (drowzee) Is holding something! (Gues what? A FLOWER!) Then he jumpd in joy, hugged me, and danced.

Hoothoot gave me a red flower... walked closer... and hugged me.

Goldeen poked at my feet. Now she`s focusing her attention on me. Now she suddenly is wandering aronud (or should i say flopping about). Now she is keeping up to me (and I wasnt moving). Then she looked down and poked my feet.

Pipette (hoppip) has no hands and gave me a yellow flower. Now she jumped for joy, and hugged me. (I swear it said humped...) Then she dances, blushes, and becomes shy, then dances.

I swear, either my MALE Furret or my FEMALE Raticate are homo. Both have... 'interests' on the Lighthouse Ampharos.

And my Solrock, Shine, traded, was nibbling my shoes. Since when did Solrock have mouths?

Steelix keeps hugging me. Crushed... to... death... Guah... It also dances quite often and it's cheeks get rosy more than often. Seriously.

Arceus faced this way and grin. WHAT IS HE PLANNING. Dialga is...barking? And now it's playing around with a leaf! LOL. Giratina is smelling a nostalgically familiar scent...in VIRIDIAN CITY?? And now Giratina got tangled in the branches and nearly fell down.

I'd traded these from my used Platinum version and thought it would be funny to walk around with them XD

My brother's Dodrio often decides to soar high into the sky...despite not being able to fly. It also likes to hug him. His Metagross also likes to dance, which probably isn't good for anything nearby.


My Fearow likes to lick garbage in the Underground in Goldenrod. It's...a little disturbing, to say the least.

My Rayquaza poked me in the stomach...if it were real I'd be dead!

My Giratina played with a leaf too, which was cute.

In Bills old house in Kanto my pokemon see to love putting things in their mouth and if I don't scold them they either choke on a peice of paper, or get zapped by a cord.

Also, since my dragonair and trainer have the same name one quote is very funny:

"Draco seems to want to play with Draco!"

And he also stares at me, and suddenly starts trying to hug me whenever I talk to him.
And after that, he starts poking me in the stomach. Then goes back to eating garbage, which he seems fond of trying to give to me.

My Shiny Staraptor isn't incredibly friendly to me though. I was training him with my Ariados outside Mt. Silver, he was excited and happy. He evolves, and now he's glaring at me.

When my pidgeot was a pidgeotto, I was training on the mountain route by Blackthorn. She gave me an angry look, roared, and refused to give me what she found. I put her in the PC, took her out, and went back.

"Cirrus gives you a sunny look and a smile!"

Maybe next time I'm feeling pissed I should put myself in the PC. Apparently it makes whatever the cause of the anger is go away.


EDIT: This just in! I went to the radio tower, in the room with the meowth, with my persian to see if I got anything interesting. Sure enough:

"Grayclaw seems to be enjoying this a little bit!"

Then I talked to the meowth.

I decided to start playing SS again and I have my in-game (not my GS event shiny one) Entei, nicknamed EntenKotei as my first Pokémon. I decided to visit Burned Tower for the lulz. I just talked to him just now and he must be a loudmouth or something, because he shook the Burned Tower with his voice! o_O
Calling it now: Event Entei with Hyper Voice.

And he's also felt something and howled as a reaction, as well as just howling loudly and just feeling something with no reaction aside from an ellipsis emoticon above his head. And all of these were in the BT. o_o Mostly the basement level, but the first "EntenKotei shook the tower with its voice!" happened on the ground floor.

EDIT: Now he must be mad at my character for some reason because he keeps making faces like he's angry and turning his gaze away. And he just did this:

That right there is one I have never seen before. I'm guessing he must be that I called him a loudmouth out loud. Either that or he's one Gehennom of a bipolar Entei.

My Groudon was skipping along the streets behind me, in Goldenrod City. Wouldn't that, like, flatten the Pokemon Center or something, knowing Groudon's size?

And MAE, if you know Entei well enough, you should know that whenever Entei barks, a volcano erupts somewhere around the globe. (Seriously, if it got mad at a cat or something, it'd spell D-O-O-M-S-D-A-Y for us all) There must be a volcano somewhere around Bell Tower.

This just in! I was training my Raikou in the Power Plant, and it said he was "rolling around in the grass." Must like drugs too much How does that even work? Even if there was ANY grass inside the Power Plant, there can't be very much, and certainly not enough for a Pokemon the size of Raikou to roll around in.

Just started playing SoulSilver along with LeafGreen and decided to talk with Lord Amber, my Aerodactyl, at the Olivine Lighthouse, and on the outside part, I sometimes get the 'looked off into the distance and barked' one. Which just confuses me to no end. How can a pterosaur bark? O_o
