I looked up Smogon to check if my strategy wasn't already from Smogon.
Heracross movesets/held items/ect: #1: Flame Sweep Nature: Lonely Hold item: Flame Orb Ability: Guts EVs: 104 EV in Sp atk, 149 in HP, 255 in Defense. Megahorn Brick Break Earthquake Facade The nature will boost the attack power, giving Heracross a lot of power, then the hold item and the ability combind makes an even bigger attack power, while Facade does more then a non-stab Draco Meteor. The EVs cover up Heracross' weak spot, while the boost in HP can make it durable, and the Defence EVs can make it last longer against Fire Fang or Aerial Ace. Megahorn defeats Breloom and possibly Roserade. Earthquake gets rid of Heatran, Metagross, Tryanitar, Non-Levitate Bronzong, and Infernape. Brick Break defeats Blissey, Weavile, and Snorlax. Facade finishes off the list of Pokemon. (Except for ghost or steel types.) #2: Annoying Bug Nature: Mild Hold Item: Brightpowder Ability: Guts EVs: 254 in Sp Atk, 154 in Sp Def, 100 in Defense. Rest Snore Sleep Talk Facade/Protect May not look good when you first see it, but it can be a pain to beat for these reasons. The nature boosts Snore and Facade (If not using protect). The hold item makes it harder to hit and therefore more annoying. The ability raises attack if Facade is not a special move. Otherwise, its just an ability filler. The EVs make it durable and boots Snore's power. Red and Sleep talk are self-explanatory. Protect makes it SUPER annoying. This moveset is only weak against Rock, Steel, and Ghost types. (EDIT 8/7/2020) My signature is very broken. It's from 2011, when I was but a wee lad. I'm not changing it; it's a part of history. Want to see my GPX team? (click to show ) (click to show ) My Zangoose's Journal Spoiler (click to show ) |

WHY DID YOU STEAL FROM SMOGON?! 1. He didn't. These sets are nothing like Smogon's. At least in the sense of the EVs. 2. Smogon posts them for that exact reason. They are the standard sets. OP guy: Learn how to use Heracross. He doesn't want EVs in Defence, and especially not in Special Attack. HP, Attack and Speed only. Example: Scarf Hera @ Choice Scarf Adamant/Jolly nature 252 Atk / 228 Spd / 28 HP Megahorn Close Combat Stone Edge Earthquake The Speed EVs let him revenge a +1 Gyarados of the same nature with Stone Edge, (providing it hits...), whilst the two STABs are immensely powerful, and Earthquake rounds off the coverage. Would've gone for a little more description, but I'm short on time, and that's all that's really needed for now. -------------------- |
