I don't actually know any other 'typical' Halloween treats. ^^;
We don't celebrate Halloween where I live,
so I had to Google about Halloween before I could get started on your challenge.

Never ate a candy apple before, but they look so tasty~
Couldn't resist using it for the contest.

I would've loved dressing up and walking around the neighbourhood to collect delicious candy.
Some shops try to sell Halloween-things, but I've never carved a pumpkin or scared anyone wearing a freaky mask. ;_;

Will there be another contest in this thread, with different challenge?

well, there will be a new theme/contest (the contest will always be titled ViTAMiN C) right after this one is over, though my intention was to make a new thread for each one, rather than just have one thread and constantly update it every 2 weeks with a new contest. however, im not sure im allowed to post a whole new contest every 2 weeks; thats gonna be quite a lot of threads coming from one person in the long run (its not like the games section, where people are constantly posting, for an example) so there would be a bunch of "ViTAMiN C - *insert theme here*" threads seemingly spamming up the board... :P

so i guess i'll just update this one and keep all of my contests in one thread.

@no halloween: So sad >: There's no Halloween in Pomona because it's a small place, but I grew up to trick-or-treat, costumes, fake jack-o-lanterns and apple cider, and of course the amazingness of the candy. I tried to make some sweet tart pokemon, but to no avail xD

@M&M Castform: I thought of doing that but with skittles xDD

Now I'm thinking, will you be doing a Christmas-themed contest? because I could easily do Christmas dressing-up, looking like food/gifts, etc

and I just got the most brilliant idea ever -plans to make after interview- was gonna make something into a caramel, it just hit me what could be perfect for that with its not-quite-cube shape xD

of course i will! any holiday, and other special days, will most likely have a contest based off of it (especially Christmas. c: ). any other ordinary days will just have regular contests that aren't based on any days/holidays, usually some random subjects of other interests and such.

i think this is pretty important, so i'll just post this separately instead of editing my post above this one so, yeah. anyways...


so, theres an issue as to whether i can continue my up-coming contests or not (might have to put them on hold... :C ).
its a long story, but basically, i lost the pen to my tablet. again, its a bit of a long story (well... not long, but i really don't feel like explaining it right now since im pretty pissed i lost it). lets just say it involves luggage. basically, it either fell out of the luggage for some reason, possibly due to me not closing it all the way, or, i left it at my house before coming to my mom's boyfriend's house to stay here for three days. when i put the tablet and the pen in my bag, i put the pen on top of the tablet and wrapped the tablet's cord around the tablet, securing (without guarantee) the pen against the tablet. when i was about to sprite something a couple of minutes ago, i noticed i was missing the tablet's pen. i checked EVERYTHING inside the baggage (by everything, i really mean everything), and its not in there, so theres only two possible options as to what could of had happened to the pen, which i already stated above. i can't remember if i completely closed the zipper; there might of had been a small opening on the bottom, so it could of fell out. the thing that worries me about that is that im almost 100% guaranteed i wrapped the pen with the tablet, like i stated above, which raises the possibility that it fell out. i wont know if i accidentally left it home or not because im stuck here for 3 days, so i have no choice but to wait 3 days later just to find out if my tablet is home or not, which im really hoping it is.

so, what does this have to do with the contest? well, i still haven't made the banner for contest #002, nor have i made the trophies yet. although i could just sprite the trophies, it would take longer without the tablet. theres also a bunch of other stuff that i want to sprite/draw, but i just can't do it without my tablet's pen.





darn...
oh well, lets just hope my pen is waiting for me at home. if i can't make the stuff for #002, then it will just have to be put on hold until i get a new one. :c
