Well most people think 4th gen is the best gameplay and think 1st gen is the best pokemon....how cool would it be if they made another game like 4th gen and have 1st gen's pokemon grin.gif

I know that they made one with 2nd gen (SilverSoul and HeartGold) but thats just a revamp of 2nd gen (I think xD)

3rd gen for Pokemon. Wailord, Minun, Skitty, and Swellow are some of my favorite Pokemon out of all 493.

Even though I dislike the 2nd gen I'd have to admit it's got the best gameplay.

My Favorite Pokemon!

I voted on the second generation for both parts. Although Hoenn is a close second in terms of gameplay for me and Kanto is a close second in terms of Pokemon. I overall enjoyed Johto the most, thoughm as it's also where I first began my quest as a trainer so many years ago.

Wow, my opinion is the same as Nari's. Although Hoenn is very close in the gameplay and Kanto in Pokemon, the winner is Jotho. Best games, best Pokemon. I haven't played the remakes yet, but I hope they're as good as the original ones.

Kanto and Johto return all the good memories for me, but anyhow I think Hoenn took place for the best pokemon if you ask me. Delcatty, Solrock, Snorunt, Masquerain, Vibrava, Flygon, Mightyena, Beautifly, Dustox, Gardevoir, Mawile, Roselia, Altaria, Chimecho, Jirachi, Rayquazza... walloftext.gif

I never played any pokemon game, so Im un-expert for that. happy.gif

Not trying to be a Kantotard, but the first gen's Pokes will always be the best for me. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Charizard.

In terms of gameplay, D/P/P had it down. It brought all of my former competitive spirit back with a flare, though that's all I liked about those games.

*hated 4th gen pokes*

In terms of gameplay, my vote goes for Sinnoh since it did fix the physical/special problem for attacks.

In terms of Pokemon, I absolutely love the 2nd and 3rd gen pokemon. Don't get me wrong, I grew up on RBY so I'll always have a special place for Charizard and them, but I fell more in love with Johto and Hoenn's Pokemon. I don't like many of the 4th gen Pokes though -_-2.gif

I would have to say that in terms of gameplay, the second generation games were the best. I found that they lacked nothing nor over compensated in any area.

As for Pokémon in general, first generation. You just can't beat the classics.
However, second generation Pokémon come quite close.

I firmly believe that the original 150 Pokemon are still the best and that Gold and Silver had the best gameplay.

This, utterly and completely.
