Lugia Hype

Since Uprising contains several main NPCs, I have decided to make a quick little information topic about them so you guys aren't confused with how they act, what they look like, or what Pokemon they have. The NPCs listed in this topic are the ones that are involved in the central plot of Uprising, so the main NPCs of subplots will not be included unless they become a larger presence within the main plot.

Team Magma NPCs
High Commander Tyson: Tyson is the oppressive ruler of Team Magma and the entire city of Noverus. Tyson may be intelligent and eerily calm, but he also has a horrible temper. Failure within the higher ranks of Magma is not tolerated, although recent Magma operatives have learnt to steer clear of him. Luckily, he never directly provides operatives with missions. Tyson never meets operatives face-to-face. Instead, he only socializes with his trusted high-ranking Officers, whom continue to pass down orders through the chain of command. Tyson's Pokemon are known as a brutal force to be reckoned with. Relying on pure force, Tyson's team gets the job done when needed. His Houndoom is always by his side, keeping an eye on him within the confines of Groudon's Thumb.

Tyson is 6' 1" and fairly muscular. He keeps his black hair slicked back and normally wears sunglasses, which hide his brown eyes. Tyson wears the special Magma uniform for High Commanders: a crimson trenchcoat beating the Magma emblem and black pants. Tyson's footwear are well polished, steel-toed boots. He also prefers to wear black leather gloves.

Pokemon:
Houndoom (lv. 58): Crunch, Flamethrower, Counter, Thunder Fang
Aggron (lv. 55): Iron Tail, Earthquake, Iron Defence, Dragon Claw
Camerupt (lv. 51): Earthquake, Flamethrower, Stone Edge, Rest
Toxicroak (lv. 54): Flatter, Poison Jab, Sucker Punch, Faint Attack
Arcanine (lv. 55): Extremespeed, Fire Fang, Dragon Pulse, Will-O-Wisp
Donphan (lv. 47): Earthquake, Rollout, Poison Jab, Ice Shard

Whitney: *Note that this is not the same Whitney from Goldenrod City. Whitney is an honorary member of Team Magma due to her mass contribution of funds for Team Magma's operations within Noverus. Whitney owns a large, luxurious house within the Rich District of Noverus, where she tends to invite Magma operatives to. Local civilians are also allowed into her home, although she will turn down any that seem shady, or worse, any Aqua operatives in uniform. As well, no more than a handful of people are allowed in the house at a time due to possible theft. She uses her Torterra as a lawn ornament (along with a park bench placed on top of it for additional camouflage) and guard for her front lawn, whereas she has an Aggron guarding the back yard. As well, she has a Salamence that keeps an eye on things in the neighbourhood from the air, and an Electrode and Bronzor that make sure no one steals anything from her residence. Her Eastern Sinnoh Gastrodon follows her around the house, leaving a slimy trail that makes her maids sigh in discontent due to frequent cleanups. Her 7' tall butler greets Magma operatives at the door with his friendly British accent, even though he appears as if he could crush a man within the palm of his hand. Whitney's deep hatred of thievery is the prime reason for her plethora of security around the residence, although she takes the fight right to the thieves by providing Magma operatives with missions to reclaim what is rightfully hers.

Whitney is 5' 7" and fairly thin with curly brown hair, brown eyes and light brown skin. She is always seen wearing glasses, a grey suit, and a red tie.

Pokemon:
Gastrodon (level 54): Recover, Water Pulse, Mud Bomb, Ice Beam
Electrode (level 51): Explosion, Thunder Wave, Thunderbolt, Thief
Bronzong (level 50): Hypnosis, Confuse Ray, Extrasensory, Flash Cannon
Torterra (level 47): Earthquake, Seed Bomb, Leech Seed, Roar
Salamence (level 50): Dragon Claw, Flamethrower, Fly, Aerial Ace
Aggron (level 49): Iron Tail, Body Slam, Rock Slide, Roar

Team Aqua NPCs
High Commander Lucy: Lucy leads Team Aqua's operations within Noverus. From her hidden base known as "Kyogre's Maw", she supervises operatives within the base and organizes missions. Unlike Magma's leader, she will actually socialize with her troops, although she is known to be rather harsh. Failure does not go well with her, although she is known to allow operatives to redeem themselves. Lucy's Pokemon are swift, capable of striking down opponents before they can make the first move.

Lucy is 5' 11" and fairly thin with long black hair died with blue streaks. She has blue eyes and a fairly light skin tone. She wears a blue tank top with the Aqua emblem on the front and black pants with a blue streak running down each side. She wears black combat boots, which give her a slightly more militaristic appearance.

Pokemon:
Sharpedo (lv. 53): Thrash, Surf, Agility, Crunch
Kingdra (lv. 58): Dragon Pulse, Twister, Blizzard, Octazooka
Mightyena (lv. 51): Shadow Ball, Ice Fang, Me First, Swagger
Froslass (lv. 48): Ice Shard, Ominous Wind, Confuse Ray, Thunderbolt
Kingler (lv. 56): Crabhammer, Guillotine, Vicegrip, Dig
Starmie (lv. 54): Recover, Rapid Spin, Water Pulse, Psychic

Rebellion NPCs
Elder Boscorelli: The man that goes by the false name "Elder Boscorelli" isn't as old as he may seem. Although, his level of intelligence is quite impressive. After the fall of the first Rebellion, Boscorelli went into hiding. No one is exactly sure as to what happened during this time span, and whenever he is asked about this, he gives a different story. Some think he left for Kanto, while others think he hid in an underground bunker in the Outskirts. Aside from keeping secrets, Boscorelli likes to ask questions to Rebel operatives in order to stimulate their brains into planning out better tactics. In battle, Boscorelli keeps his cool. No one has seen him angry, not even when operatives have failed missions.

Boscorelli is 6' and ridiculously thin. His shallow cheeks and sunken brown eyes show signs of malnutrition from some point in time. He keeps his scraggly brown hair hidden beneath a tan fedora, as it is showing signs of greying with age. To go along with his fedora, he wears a tan trenchcoat and black dress shoes.

Pokemon:
Rotom [Basic Form] (lv. 60): Discharge, Double Team, Ominous Wind, Confuse Ray
Ursaring (lv. 50): Slash, Faint Attack, Rest, Snore
Pidgeot (lv. 52): Tailwind, Fly, Steel Wing, Roost
Yanmega (lv. 54): Air Slash, Screech, Steel Wing, Silver Wind
Scizor (lv. 56): Iron Head, X-Scissor, Agility, Night Slash
Shiftry (lv. 52): Leafstorm, Giga Drain, Brick Break, Double Team

Tuesday's Pack

UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Team Magma

Officer Donald Lennox
Five feet and ten inches tall, with a slender frame, Officer Donald Lennox has blonde hair that he slicks back, and an Errol Flynn moustache. Lennox can most often be seen wearing his red Magma outfit and a white scarf.

Elite II Mark Sotoro
Elite II Mark Sotoro has black hair that is thinning at the top, but which he generally keeps slicked back. He has dark brown eyes behind a pair of glasses, and he can usually be seen sporting a good-natured, sometimes mocking, smile. Sotoro is most often seen wearing a business suit. He is in his late thirties and time has given him the patience to deal with new recruits, the determination to keep them in line, and has jaded him enough that he doesn't get his hopes up. He has a shrewd nature, which allows him to be certain that business gets done.

Team Aqua

Sector A: to be named
This position was previously filled by Officer Crichton. However, due to an operation that involved the psychological and medicinal manipulation of an agent, he was forced into early retirement.

Sector B: Officer Nathaniel Bryce
Tall and stealthily well-built, with hair that is more grey than black, Officer Nathaniel Bryce is the leader of Sector B of the Aqua faction. For the longest time, he remained an Elite II with all of the duties of an Officer, but none of the pay. After an incident involving the traitorous actions of an Elite II in that sector being discovered, and a duo of new agents working to reveal this treason, he was officially promoted to Officer.
  • Aide Wilkins
  • Assigned by higher authorities to bring control back into Sector B, Wilkins forces all members of the sector to attend early-morning briefings to cover all that has been going on. He is the suit and tie that tries to ignore the hard work required by those around him and is disliked by all members of Sector B, especially the Officer in charge, Nathanial Bryce. He has no authority over any of the members in the sector, other than to demand their attendance at the meetings, and the ability to go to a higher authority about them.
Sector C: Officer Jamie Langestrat
Five feet and two inches tall, with a curvy body and generous breasts, Officer Jamie Langestrat has blonde hair that she keeps pulled back in a ponytail. She can appear, to those who don't know her, as a wanting sex goddess. Those that do know her are aware of her strict nature and her hardass attitude toward those who serve under her. She expects the best from her people, and because of this, she often gets it.

Sector D : to be named

Doctor Leona Robinson

Doctor Robinson is a medical practictioner well-known for occasionally getting into trouble for treating members of Aqua alongside members of Magma (and also the Rebellion, for those who are aware of its existence). Often just called Doc, she has light brown skin, long, curly blue hair, and brown eyes. She is fluent in Sign Language, as she has been mute since birth. Presumably, she is able to hear perfectly fine, though it's not completely certain. Her main pokemon is a female espeon named Persephone who will telepathically speak to anyone should she have something to say to them, though she is particularly blunt when she does. Doctor Robinson can be found occasionally within various Aqua bases, though she lives in a storage unit not far away. Her eighteen year old son, Danny, a serious boy who rarely smiles, is always with her.

The Rebellion

Veteran I Richard Paulsen
Often referred to merely as a Supervisor, Veteran I Richard Paulsen is the morning supervisor of a Rebellion office base. Due to the fact that he works without any of his superiors nearby, and dresses in a formal manner, he is often assumed to be of higher rank than he is. He is in his mid to late fifties and has a somewhat wiry frame, with hair and a moustache that are naturally thin and beginning to gray. He tries to keep the peace within his office by working as more of a mediator and treating people as he presumes they would like to be treated - he acts informally toward those who are, by nature, very friendly, but with a formal manner and speech to those who keep their superiors at a respectable distance.

Veteran I Jack Spade
Elite I Jack Spade is in his early twenties. He is tall and muscular, with tan skin, blonde hair, and blue eyes. Spade is an idealist at heart and is known for his tendency to take unnecessary risks, but he does not have the determination or responsibility required of a good leader. His manner of dress changes depending upon his needs, and he often dresses to appear similar to whom he is with. One of his more powerful pokemon is a kadabra.

Mr. Weathers
The picture of a southern gentleman, Mr. Weathers has neatly trimmed white hair and a white Van Dyke beard and moustache. These features are quite noticeable over the background of his near-chocolate dark skin. He dresses pristinely and speaks in a deep, baritone voice that seems to resonate. Mr. Weathers is constantly manning the pokemon first aid station within the office building that is supervised in the morning by Veteran I Richard Paulsen. He is very polite and is always willing to help one of the Rebels' pokemon, just as well as any pokecenter Nurse Joy would be able. He will also do so discreetly.
