In this game, how exactly do you get points (money). I think I heard you get it when people click you and you click people, but am i right? Plus, when I do these things, why do i get no money?

You must not click that much. And you get one point (regular) for interacting with an egg/Pokémon.
You get 600-1500 points for leveling a Pokémon to Level 100 (depends on EXP amount needed)
You get 200 (I think) points for hatching an egg.
You get points (not sure how many) for evolving a Pokémon or changing its forme.

And you get points for donating eggs, adopting eggs from the shelter/lab, too.

Althought that table is not entirely accurate now, because 5,120 maturity eggs tend to hatch with about 100 - 105 interactions now...
