Hi guys, I am the new owner of this amazing group! Shiny Pokemon are the rarest of the rare. These rare Pokemon are not the same color as regular Pokemon, so hatching and owning a shiny is one of the most rewarding feelings in the world. This is a place where people who love finding shiny Pokemon can get together and share their shinnies. Our members are shiny hunters of all skills. There are some who hunt common to rare shiny Pokemon and some that take on the ever daunting task of finding shiny legendary and novelty Pokemon. So come join us in the ever great feeling of owning a shiny.

• • • R U L E S

• To join the group, you must have at least 1 shiny in your possession [PROOF REQUIRED]. It doesn't matter how or where you got the shiny, you just need to be the current owner of it.
• You must have a Shine Recorder. If you don't own one, you may purchase one in the main shop for 6000 points. There are also slot upgrades which cost a bit more. You can buy up to 4 of these upgrades for 4 extra hunting slots!
• Please follow all the Forum Rules. Anyone breaking Forum Rules will be reported. There's a pretty shiny report button on every post and I'm not afraid to use it.
• Be polite to your fellow Shiny Lovers. This includes not getting annoyed because X got shiny Pokémon Y before you. This means no cussing at someone, snappy or whatever. If someone is doing something offensive/against the rules JUST REPORT IT. Nothing else.
• Please send every single form to myself, via PM.
• Put somewhere on the form the phrase "Amazing Iridescence"
• If you change your name, please inform me via PM.
• Your Account Number is the number under your Avatar.
• When you post a screenshot of your Shiny Hunts, please do not include the Pokémon egg design. This is a form of egg IDing which is against the Forum Rules.

Especially the last weekend of September was pretty crazy / awesome, I think I hatched almost 10 shinies back then. Also, my Unova Shiny Dex is finally complete now, that makes me quite happy. With that, another goal is done!
I have another goal, I want a Ralts for every letter in the alphabet. Currently, I'm hunting the letter N, so the current hunts of mine look like this:



Didn't even notice that the Ralts hunt is up there already, haha.

Well since I was inactive for all but the last 3 days of September, I only happen to have ONE shiny to show for that month, haha xD Wish I could've come back from my hiatus a little sooner to give me some headway for the SWSH, but since I came back on such short notice, I didn't get any time to try and hatch enough eggs for an actual shiny..

But I did manage to finish my Sh. Charmander hunt, which has been going on since before my 2 year hiatus, lol.

This Pokémon was egg #102 in Cleyazeus 's 637-day shiny hunt started on December 31st, 2011.
Quite the gap, if you ask me xD Sadly he was the only one I could get within 3 days. :C

But I do already have a bit of a head start on my October shinies, and hopefully I'll have even more by the end of the month :]

Just a fun little topic!

Do you miss the Shine Recorder Pokemon images? The ones where on the Profile Page, you saw the Sh. Pokemon version of there hunts.

To myself I really do miss it. I loved seeing the Pokemon the user wanted. I loved skimming over and guessing the eggs hatched so far. I do not know why, I just loved it.

Fourthing(?) that sentiment. I miss that feature. Because sometimes, spacing issues would happen, and you could get really funny results from that. Or other nonsense, like the expression of one Pokémon could be angry and looking at another Pokémon. The 'Sexy Time! No, it's not porn!' thread has some really funny things that resulted from that. I'm sad they removed that.

So, I'm just curious: is anyone here hunting shinies for a theme of sorts (certain colors, Poképastas, in-game parties, OCs and the like)? I plan on partially fulfilling that criteria with a future shiny hunt for a Trapinch, because of the Poképasta 'Tommy Boy'. Unfortunately, since my practice of nicknaming Pokémon after their dominant color for their shiny coloration is so firmly ingrained, my future to-be Flygon won't be nicknamed that. It'll probably be named something relating to green or blue.

Wait what, already a new month again?! It's incredible how fast time goes!!
Can't wait for the XY stuff, already decided to go for a shiny Kalos dex, there are so many great Pokémon, I just couldn't decide anything else! Looking forward to them! But I bet they'll come when I'll be on vacation at the the end of November... I hope they'll come before that! We'll see!

I hatched 954 Axew Eggs, hoping for Determined.

I'm losing quite a bit interest since we never get multipliers. The only thing keeping me here is event, SWSH, and Scav.

I already have a shiny Rattata but the first one is Adamant natured, so it needed to stay as a Rattata. So this lil guy will be a Raticate!

The person became inactive so it more or less ended being a regular hunt.. I'll win it within a week (they haven't been on since June) so that's something I suppose! Now I just wish Ekans, Axew and Machop would finish.

While playing Pokemon Y I stumbled upon a Shiny Miltank, making her my first shiny in Poke Y, and obviously made her part of my team [she had Scrappy has her ability so it was all good 'cause I would wreck Ghost pokemon].

Once the 6th gen pokemon are released on the site I'm gonna search for the shinies I have in my game.

Welp. I've hatched about 800 Absols and still no shiny ' Atleast my shiny luck on Y is brilliant XD I've gotton about 20 shinys so far I had 4 shiny gyaradoses and I wonder traded away 3 of them. I got them all while trying to fish up a shiny Crawdaunt and seeing as how I STILL dont have that shiny, i'll be getting alot more red dragon fishes XD

In other news, I cant wait to see what the new SWSH will be Hopefully shinys will not evade me so >_>

Sorry I haven't posted in a while :[ Buuuut so glad the SWSH is about to start! :0 Didn't get any of the Pokemon I voted for, but a few of them seemed high on the list so maybe next time :] I'm probably gonna start with either Feebas or Azurill. Not really sure which.

As for Shiny hunting news, I've been having no luck what so ever :[ Took about a one month hiatus, though, so of course there wouldn't be too much progress xD But I did switch around some of what I'm hunting, and now I'm after these:


Basically just added Cacnea and removed the ones that were giving me trouble ffft.

So I completed my longest and shortest SWSHs for this month in one fell swoop. The Azurill was from the first batch of eggs I grabbed, which a small part of me was expecting. Riolu I got about an hour ago. This has been crazy.

So, what shinies from X/Y are your guys' faves?

I personally like the Fennekin line, Talonflame, Florges, Furfrou, the Honedge line, the Spritzee line, the Skrelp line, the Tyrunt line, Sylveon, Hawlucha, Carbink, the Pumpkaboo line, the Bergmite line, and the Noibat line for non-Megavolutions.
For Megavolutions, I like MAbomasnow, MGarchomp, MBanette, MAggron, MMawile, MGardevoir, MHoundoom, MAmpharos, MGyarados, MAlakazam, MCharizard X and Y, and presumably MBlastoise (I can't see it very well in http://imgur.com/a/VZ0jQ#0.) But if it shares the color scheme of normal!Blastoise, I'll probably like it.

So the SWSH is coming up, so I thought of a fun way to make it interesting (even though it always is).

I think we should do a triplet SWSH!

What it is is we either have a

Burmy SWSH (Ground,Grass,Steel)
Pan SWSH (Sear,Pour,Sage)


Or, we could have a Twin pair in there.

For example~

Minun and Plusle
Nidorans
Shellos
etc.

How does that sound?

I'll be hunting Barboach for the SWSH. I need one for my living dex and then I think I'll go for more Yanmas maybe because they're prettier.

Grats Doom Hunter! What an amazing Shiny!

That reminds me, I was at a Basketball game and I got one Pidgey egg for my hunt, using my last Shelter Grab. Then, there was Twinkies in Prize Shop. so I was like, I should really test my luck and corrupt this egg with a Twinkie. Yet I didn't, and that egg turned out to be a Sh. Pidgey for my hunt. Maybe I should go with my instincts sometimes.

Also, who is ready for the SWSH? All three Pokemon are ones I love, I only have Yanmega, so It'll be fun hatching these Pokes, so I'll be motivated hoping to get on the Top 5 of the "Most Shinies Hatched" list.
