Thanks to AndreAtomic and Jamiekairyu for giving me the image. (click to show) Incase you guys don't believe an image, pay a visit to Pokemon.com Personally, I think they look to Yu-Gi-Oh like... Pokemon used to be more just friendly animals, now they look like brutal monsters. So I don't like them to much... What bout you guys? P.S. If anyone can tell me how to take screenshots, please speak up so I can just post an image on here. Honestly, if the white one IS a Light type, I'll like it. Otherwise... no. Just no.
They look like a mixture of Yu-Gi-Oh and Digimon monsters... not the sweet Pokemon we're used to. |

They're clearly fake I can tell, they look too Digimon like, also, dragon types AGAIN, we had Dragon type legendary mascots the last generation (you know, Dialga/Palkia/Giratina)

Wow, those are neat. Not really what I expected, but cool nonetheless. The drill-tail on Zekrom looks cool, but I like Reshiram's overall appearance better. Majestic hair-thing flowing in the breeze and all that.

I don't mind the slight yugoih aspect. I think they look better that way however it could have been much closer to yugioh in my opinion if they wanted to try to make something like it. They are both interesting in their own aspects however the hands on the wings always bugs me so the black will most likely be my favorite.

Personally, they look way too Digimon like (especially with season 6 coming next month, seriously, the black one looks like freaking BlackWarGreymon mixed with Palkia), and Dragon mascots again, we can't have two dragon trios, we already have Dialga/Palkia/Giratina. Also they revealed their english names on the english site first, when it's Japan that announces the new Pokemon first, not the States, if these are the engish names, then they should have revealed the english names for the already known Gen V Pokemon, Zorua and Zoroark will, like most movie centered Pokemon, likely have the same names in english, the starters however..... well, did you know that Piplup was originally going to keep it's Japanese name for the english versions of Diamond and Pearl, seriously, I'm not lying at all, they actually planned this in the early stages of the games translation ("Piplup" is an ugly name anyways, I like "Pochama" better, seriously, doesn't "Piplup" sound gay to you.....), so as long as they give the starters decent names

I like the Digimon/Yu-gi-oh-esque look they have actually. While I admit I was suprised by the appearance, I really like the designs and idea of mixing a complex look with simple coloring, and though it again reminds me of Yu-gi-oh, I think the blue eyes and red eyes were nice touches. Really can't wait to use Zekrom on people now...Wonder if he'll be a Dark/Dragon type...?

All things considered, they look far superior to D/P/Pl mess of legendaries. Bow-legged Dialga and tiny-headed Darkrai will always be some of the most awkward-looking Pokemon. |
