Name: Ryan Bent
Age: 14
Hometown: Born in Pewter City, Home in Mahogany Town.

Appearance: 5’3” 130 lbs. Ryan has quite a bit of meat on his bones, while not being fat. He has straight black hair, which is always covered by a blue cap he received from Pryce of Mahogany Gym. His skin is very white, due to his dislike of the outdoors and intensive training in Pryce’s Gym. He never smiles, so nobody sees his pretty normal, not pearly white, not damn ugly yellow teeth. His eyes are a dark ocean-blue colour, his favourite colour. He wears a plain black T-shirt, with a dark grey sleeveless jacket over it. His pants are blue and have black “zip-off” parts at the bottom. He has grey sneakers, blue fingerless gloves and a waist sack which he carries his items in.


Personality: Ryan is quietly confident and hardly ever speaks. When he does speak it is either to tell his Pokémon or other people what to do or what they are doing wrong. He is not very trusting and has a hard time letting people close to him. He has respect for good trainers and will often compliment a good move in battle. He is quiet but NOT shy at all.

Underneath his silent attitude he has a split personality, he will either be nice or be completely mean to someone and nothing in between. Even with his tough exterior his biggest weakness is girls and has a very tough time trying to complete a sentence around a pretty one.

Biography: Ryan was born in Pewter City, his father Ben was often away and he didn’t enjoy spending time with his mother Kate. When he was five his father brought home a Nidoran, a male, which he grew very attached to. A year later they moved to Mahogany so his father could continue his journey from Kanto to Johto. His father gave him the Nidoran when they moved.

While in Mahogany he met Pryce and grew close to him, Pryce taught Ryan to handle Nidoran and let him battle a few trainers to test them as a gym trainee. Pryce told him that if he wanted to be a permanent trainee, he would have to catch an ice Pokémon.

The next day Pryce took Ryan out to the water on the back of a Lapras, after about half an hour of surfing they found a Seel and Ryan skilfully handled Nidoran and caught his first Pokémon. He now used Seel in his battles as Pryce’s gym trainee, although with his personality, he never took to being a trainee and decided to leave on his very own Pokémon adventure. He said goodbye to Pryce and his parents, who together gave him a Premier Ball which he is saving for his favourite Pokémon Rhydon(Tied with Nidoking), or Rhyhorn, doesn't really matter.

He waited a week, picked up some items from the mart and registered for the Furoh league, he heard about Furoh from his father, who advised Ryan to go there as he would meet a lot of new people and make some great friends. Pryce gave him a lift to Furoh and the world will see where he goes from there.

Pokémon:



Nidoran lv. 11 "Male": Nidoran has always had a liking for Ryan and has trusted him since the day they met; he was given to Ryan by his father, who had caught him near Cerulean Cave, on the day they left for Johto and was Ryan’s only friend in Mahogany for quite a while, they are very close and Nidoran is extremely loyal and never disobeys Ryan. He is very persistent and has always dreamt of becoming a Nidoking.



Seel lv. 10 "Female": Seel was caught by Ryan only a few weeks before he left for Furoh, but she respects Ryan and has gained a lot of experience from his trainee battles with her. Seel has never lost a battle in her time with Ryan, despite her relatively low level.

Items: Poke ball x10, Ultra ball x5, Potion x2, Escape Rope x2, Premier Ball x1 and Full Heal x3.
Along with the above “disposable” items he has a Good Rod, a Town Map, a Journal, Running Shoes, a Pokétech (with Call Feature) and an Explorer Kit.

The biscuits name is Bertha.
