Right, so, I was curious as to how other people organize their PC.
I have been going by types, i.e. Caterpie goes in Bug, Pidgey in Flying, etc.
But now I'm thinking of going by pokedex number, to make things easier.

I searched the forums to see if this has been done before, but I didn't find anything similar.
Nevertheless, if this turns out to be a repeat, please feel free to close the thread.

I organize by food type.
Plants go in the salad, fish go in the sushi, shinies go in the candy, etc.

I've got them sorted by region, seeing how I'm going for the dex master achievements. Kanto was the only one I bothered to hatch multiple eggs in order to have one of each Poke, and after that I got lazy. So, the rest of my region boxes are sorted by what needs to be evolved, what's already there, and sometimes what can be further evolved for a later generation.
And then I've got separate boxes for shinies, novelties, legendaries, extras, and drops. Quite simple, really.

I have my boxes of Abandons first so it's easy to abandon them all. Then I have shinies, Lv 100s and legends. Then Full Evo boxes, to Evo. Then Others (pokemon who can change forms or are needed for something)

I only have organized PCs for Legendary, Shiny and Novelties.
The rest are sort of mixed together due to my overflow of Miltank lol

i have two boxes to hold the pokemon that are single evolutions.

i have about 7 boxes to hold the ones that are fully evolved.

i have one box for legendaries,

i have two for my novelties and their mates (may not be novelty mates)

i have a box for my favorite pokemon that i have, my raichu, my shiny flygon, etc.

then i have a few boxes for ones i just want to hoard or abandon.

a box for my breeding couples that i made stories for. that's about it...you can look at my boxes and get a general idea, i think.

i don't sort by type or whatever cuz it's easy to find a specific pokemon using the search feature in the PC.

all my common pokemon are separated by gender and by level, that makes it easier for me to find matching pairs for breeding. but the novelties, legendaries and shinies each have a separate box. i also have 4 boxes for my puppy dog army, a few to hoard doubles which will be dropped later, some boxes to keep pokemon i'm gathering for achievements, and one box to keep all my favorites in.

If I ever need anything, I use the search filters.

I've switched a few times...right now, I have the living dex, plus a box of unown, two boxes of novelties, a box of bliss, two boxes for shiny fails, and three boxes for duplicates, shinies, and extras.

I used to organise them by type, now I just stick them in the first empty box.

Well, I used to organize it by national dex #, so that I'd create a live dex (pokemon in each evolution stage/forms etc.). But that took up way too much box space. So I reorganized it, now legends and novelties have their own boxes, also shinies and unowns and the rest are placed in either full evo, to evo, level 100, to level 100, or release. Now I also have boxes left for a starter collection, a rare gender collection, an eevee collection and a box of bliss.
