The new lineart isn't just easier, it's a lot faster. I don't think it constitutes a 'style', per se - it's just a different tool which flows better with my sketch style (OC's pencil took sketching the same line multiple times to achieve remotely acceptable opacity, when I generally draw lines only once and then go back to fix them as needed. And the main reason why they were light is that I do not have the patience to make them darker.
 ).I guess these sketches are somewhat close to finished pieces (since they never get worked on beyond that point), in which case I'd have to agree the softer lines match the softer coloring better. I COULD switch to blockier/solid colors to match the bolder lines, but I rather like the OC watercolor practice, so I won't. >__> This post has been edited by Shirogane: Jul 11 2009, 04:57 PM --------------------   |
