Welcome to the Orphan Adoption Society! Here, members discuss the pokemon they've adopted from the shelter who were abandoned previously by another GPX+ user.

{Club Requirements}

- As long as you own at least one pokemon who was abandoned before you became its owner, you may join our group. That information would be listed on the pokemon's profile as "Previous Owners".

- Eggs do not count because you haven't hatched it yet. Just on basic terms.
- When posting to be a member, please include the pokemon's url such as the example. It doesn't have to be wrapped in text, but please separate the links with a space at least.

- It is okay if a member has abandoned pokemon in the past, but to be a member, you must obtain one that has been abandoned by someone else. Posting a pokemon you abandoned will not be added unless the present owner comes on the forum and wants to join themselves... And then, of course, it will not be added to you.

{How to Adopt an Orphan}

It's very simple, actually. When you're in the Shelter, scroll the mouse over top of various eggs. If any of them have a ratio that is not 0/max#, then that pokemon has had a previous owner. Most of the time, these abandoned pokemon eggs's ratios will be like 40/5120 or 120/, but there are the few rare ones that will have a good 1000/ or two (I've had Eevees like that even)!
And of course, there's always the especially rare opportunity to nab a hatched pokemon bouncing around in the shelter.

@Gati: Of course, though I have to add the pokemon to the list anyway. Post all the pokemon in a spoiler and I'll add it all in a batch.

@Jaxzilla: Same to you (put it in a spoiler post), though if you have 80, just supply the pokemon link to each one and the icon to those you are most proud of/are rare/are level 100. That way we can at least keep count. ^^;

@Vanilla Villa: Thank you! It's not hard to check thankfully. Though, I wonder if pokemon born before the update for "Bred By/Previously Owned By" are not affected by the update... Hmm hmm. =\
Still, newer pokemon should be easy to check.



I'll add the new members in the morning, I only got on to check on the event (and hatch three eggs XD). I have added your names and created a 50 and 100 cutoff to rankings. Just gotta make names later~

Actually Harris, I won't be able to add you as a member quite yet. All of the pokemon listed under your possession have "bred by" stats, not "previously owned by" stats, meaning they were directly taken from the shelter-- no orphaned strings attached.

The one egg you posted that IS an orphan is one you orphaned-- and it is impossible for the one who abandoned the egg to ever reclaim it. I could add the user pabulumm for taking your abandoned poliwag egg, but I can't add you until you have an orphaned pokemon for yourself, as your adopted pokemon.
They come and go, just be patient and keep an eye out for them.

You have the same problem as Harris, the pokemon that are yours listed have never been abandoned, and the pokemon that was once abandoned was abandoned by you, so you are not its owner anymore. =\

However! Your second post had the Lucario and Magby who were both abandoned once. Therefore, you will be added as a member, but with those two pokemon only.

My goodness! That Machop was abandoned three times before! And your Shiny Beedrill was also abandoned!
Quite impressive! I'll add them now. May put Machop and Beedrill under Feature Pokemon (since I'm changing the mascot thing).
