Dude, it's GIR, not Gir.
Why is it that the only Zim fans left are the rabid GIR fans? Where's the love for Zim? GIR's entire role in the show was to be as annoying as possible, idk how that translates into 'cute' for y'all. :< --------------------      |

Dude! Don't hate GIR! GIR makes the show! It's ment to be a comedy. Plus you can be both a GIR fan and a Zim fan. I am. Plus it doesn't matter if you write GIR or Gir. Either way.... I'M GOING TO SING THE DO SONG!!!!

I fail to see how. He's just one big headache, as near as I can tell. Besides, nothing he says makes any sense. It's just random gibberish. I don't see how he's supposed to be 'cute' or 'funny', he's just loud and annoying. 'Sides, Zim gets all the good quotes. QUOTE "Go home and shave your giant head of smell with your bad self!"

Yes HE makes the show. Without him it would be utterly boring. Everyone needs alittle mindless stupidity in their life. But it's fine if you don't like him. Doesn't mean you have to bring it down for those who do.

Ok, people, this thread wasn't made for fighting.
I agree with Slowpoke; GIR doesn't make the show. I also agree with Hinata; GIR is a hilarious and random highlight to the show. So really, you're both right (in a way). X3 I've found it a slightly bit odd that so many people are rabid GIR fans, but I can definitely see why. He is, truly, hilarious. I am a huge Zim fan too, and a Dib fan for that matter. Good grief, all the characters are just plain amazing! (Ms. Bitters is epic.  )Anywho, I adore the show, and was extremely disappointed when Nick deemed it "inappropriate" and kicked it off the air. I've gotten countless people into it, and now they're dedicated fans. I've found IZ to be a show that's... Virtually impossible to hate. I've seen a few people who think it's creepy, but I've never seen someone who dislikes it. I think Zim & GIR make a great pair cuz I don't think 1 of them could be a comedian alone, and I find it funny how much Zim is OBVIOUSLY an alien but nobody ever sees it!
