Which Legendary Trio is Best?, Gen 1, Gen 2, Gen 3, or Gen 4? |

Gen 1, The Bird Trio
 |  |  Ice | Electric | Fire Gen 2, The Beast Trio  |  |  Elecric | Fire | Water Tiger | Lion | Cheetah Gen 3, The Rock Trio  |  |  Rock | Ice | Steel Gen 3, The Lake Trio  |  |  Psychic | Psychic | Psychic Knowledge | Willpower | Emotion Let me know if I called one of these the wrong name or type... also, if you know what gens one and two were specifically based on (i.e. Tiger, Lion and Cheetah) or what they are formally called (i.e. Being of Knowledge/Willpower/Emotion), I'd love to know. My favorite is the cat trio because they're the prettiest of the bunch and could easily kick the other legendaries' butts. Unfortunately, they aren't very well known as CATS and people constantly think they're dogs. The worst out of all of these is the lake trio... I mean, come on - three psychic-types? you`re missing dialga palkia and giratina... also the `cats` are actually called the `beasts`

The Cat Beasts all the way. The Regis were neat too, and the Birds have a nostalgic attachment. The Psychic Trio? BLEH.

Gen one. I just think the birds look more like natural Pokemon than weird gods, and that makes me like them.

I'm a bit nostalgic and I prefer the bird trio. I'm a bit biased though, since the second Pokemon movie (I don't know what it is called in English, its the one with Lugia) is my favourite
 . The legendary beasts are a close second, as the design for them is absolutely beautiful. I never really caught on with the legendary golems, they seem too futuristic for me, and I'm not exactly a die-hard fan of science-fiction and the like. The lake trio is just a big no-no... --------------------        |

IMO the Lake Trio could have been a single Pokemon embodying all the things that they do. :<
I don't care all that much for the Regis, though I like the legendary cats/dogs/chinchillas/wutevs x3, though my favourite of these trios, would most certainly be the legendary birds, for the same reasons as the poster above. --------------------   |

My opinion:
The birds- Zapdos is fug, Moltres is bland, but Articuno is pretty<3 The mutts- They're all fug The golems- Registeel is my favorite steel Pokémon, Regice is cute, Regirock is lame The pixies- Blech Guess it's the golems for me. -------------------- y'all kids can be edgy as fuck man |

I chose dogs. I grew on to them when I played collesum.
2nd is the regi's which I grew on them from mystery dungeon explores. 3rd is birds who are cool and I love the lugia movie. 4th is lake guardians. There not too interesting but they still manged toget in my top 10 favorite pokemon. Ps I have about 50-100 top 10 faoritte pokemon. -------------------- This is my signature. Using pokemon logic I will tell you exactly why the beast trio is the best of the three in terms of type.
Bird trio- All are weak against electric type... including Zapdos  Rock trio- Rock and steel weak against water... ice not very effective against water. Psychic trio- All weak against Dark-type pokemon If were talking about how they look I personally liked the first gen set best --------------------       Shiny eevee hunt, please click.
