You can get whatever you want in life, if you are willing to give up everything for that one thing.

On a small lonely planet, named Earth by its inhabitants, stories are created every day. Some are epic and spectacular to all those who hear, and leave the listener wondering how something so farfetched could have actually occurred. Others are far less extraordinary, and may only mean something special to those involved. No matter how important they are, people create such stories every single second.

The stories can be made, since the power of choice has been existent. However, Fate has not been present in these day to day activities, making a young child be able to dream of being president, and having an equal chance at becoming one. You can make choices to change your life, and other people can change your life as well with their own choices.

That is, until fate destroys this.

Debated by humans, Fate has never been proven to exist. Maybe it has, all along, but just laid dormant. Or maybe, there has never actually been such a thing until just now, suddenly straightening the future of the world. Or maybe, it was fated to appear at this specific time, for a mysterious purpose.

Whatever the cause, fate can bring the world to its knees. Everyone would be at fate’s mercy, since they would lose control of their own lives. And Fate, corrupted by evil, plans to do that exact thing.

Late adolescents and young adults around the world begin to change, becoming a force similar to Fate. Some of the evil forces band together, and form an army, dubbed Fate’s Army. These individuals possess great strength, and don’t get hurt as easily as a normal human. They do possess some form of magic, related to their specific force. And, of course, they make other humans view them in the way of their force. They had been exiled by their own kind, before fate offered them a way out: to join it. . The ‘evil’ forces band together, and form an army, dubbed Fate’s Army.

However, other forces begin to appear as well: these are the virtuous forces, appearing in the same category of people. Some might notice that they are slightly stronger and faster before, and are able to wield basic magic. Or, they may notice others falling in love with them almost uncontrollably. They have yet to realize their importance, and are left confused. All receive in the mail a mysterious letter with an airplane ticket to Hawaii and a brief note, “Be on the plane, to change the world’s fate.”

Fate’s Army is well organized, when the adventure begins, having already taken and brainwashed thousands of people. The resistance has yet to be created.

But can fate really be overcome?



Other important stuff/Rules:
-Fate cannot be played. It is an unseen force at the moment.
-There is a working list of the forces that can be played, but creativity (haha, that could probably be used) is encouraged. If you come up with something that I don’t think will work, I will try to change it only slightly so it is workable.
-I don’t like having too many people, so it shall be limited to eight (including me. I may lower this, if I get antsy). You are encouraged to have multiple characters, however, since we need an army on one side and a resistance on the other.
-There is no force substantially stronger than other forces (that is, except the evil ones). Yes, Love may seem more important/useable than trust at first, but you need to be creative, and then you can do miracles. .
-If you have multiple characters on the resistance, please pick one as your favorite. This doesn’t mean the other is going to die, it just mean your favorite can’t be killed off (unless you decide specifically and passionately that you want it to die). And, your favorite will get the cooler stuff to do.
-Your sign up sheet should clear 400 easily. I am not asking for an rpg sample, so you should be able to put all your effort into this. Just because it passes 400, doesn’t mean its guaranteed to get in without a hitch. But, it probably will. I may change the limit, to more or less, depending on the quality of the sign ups I am getting (ha, assuming I get some).
-There are no duplicates of the forces. Once its taken, it’s taken.
-Please keep it PG13. Cursing is fine, as long as it isn’t used for the sake of cursing, and romance is fine. I think there will be violent scenes, so keep that somewhat censored. I am fairly squeamish, and do not want to read about how you decapitate someone's head using a butter knife.

Brandy is very fair featured. He stands at 5’9”, with broad shoulders and waist. He is not fat, but seems to be slightly wider than the average boy. He tends to gain weight fast, as well, and often has to exercise excessively in fear of becoming plain fat. He has some abs, but for the amount of his exercising, one expects them to be more impressive.

Brandy usually covers himself with fine clothes and jewelry. He wears several rings on each hand, and sometimes on each finger, as well as necklace chains. He is known, most famously, for a pose similar to in the picture sown- him smiling into the camera holding a rose, with flashing lights in the background.

Personality: Brandy is excellent at putting on a sweet smile, which is partially responsible for his huge success as a singing sensation. He knows how to manipulate people, as if he was born into the job. He is very careful, however, when he does this- he doesn’t put himself in the line of fire, and often lets others take the blame for his mistakes.

He is very smart in some ways. Though he understands how the human mind works, he is almost completely useless when interacting with lovesick girls. Sure, he is able to walk by a screaming crowd with a small seductive smile placed on his face, but when it comes to one on one conversations with these fangirls, he fails miserably. Often, these girls will become obsessive (maybe slightly due to his ability to amplify one’s greed). This, luckily, has always ended okay for both parties, but there have been close calls.

Brandy is very laid back, and only joined this fate- army expedition since he thought it could benefit his career with fate on his side. He is always trying to find ways to become stronger in this area, while trying to become an even bigger popstar.

One of his weaknesses is in material goods, especially clothing. He loves fashion in a way that the biggest fashion diva will view him as crazy. He finds he must be dressed in the newest and best clothing, and becomes insanely jealous when someone is wearing something that he wants.

History:
Brandy was born in Hollywood, to his already famous movie producer father and actress mother. At a young age, they had little time for baby Brandy, and hired a nanny to teach him ‘useful’ things. By eight, he could play the guitar very well, but had little interest in singing. Later, at fifteen, he made his parents buy him a record deal, which hit the top charts very early on. Since then, he has left his parents, dropped out of school, and traveled across the world with people he hired to concerts and record signings. He has never been quite satisfied with any of this, even as his fame continued to grow and he continued to get more money.

When he was in school, he always surrounded himself with ‘friends.’ It was never known if any of these people liked Brandy for his gleaming personality or the feeling they seemed to get just by being around him. He never studied, but always received top marks on tests. It was a slight surprise when he dropped out, since he was doing so well.

He noticed his changes recently, just as he released his newest hit song, ‘Get Back Alone.’ He didn’t do much about it at first, until he was mysteriously approached by Fate to join his army. He agreed immediately, but since then, has never been able to recall the exact encounter he had.

Weapon: Brandy uses a specially designed axe- like weapon. It is decorated with carvings on the actual axe area, and a blade is present on either side. The handle is long, about two and a half feet, and is made of strong oak. Brandy is fairly skilled at manipulating this, but often uses other methods to rid himself of his opponent.

Name of Character: Ari Dramzel
Age: 17

Ari does not look that different form most people, if she had not grromed herself so diligently. She has naturally straight brown hair, but she usually takes the time to curl the ends. Her face is framed with hair that is shorter than the curled strands.

Ari comes off as fairly intimidating, standing 5’9 and often wears heels to make her seem taller. She has a straight nose, and eyes that come to a point at the upper ends. Her face is angular, and usually wears an expression that gives of the impression she doesn’t actually notice anyone, and is planning her next mission.

She wears all sorts of accessories- gaudy necklaces, bracelets, and hair stylings. She will usually wear several of these at once, and it often comes off quite striking. These fashions often are not popular, as she will drift from the mainstream norm to stand out in a crowd.

She is fairly pale, but still can manage a tan once in a while, which she often tries to do. Makeup is an occasional ritual for Ari, but consistency was never her thing. One day, she may show up with a pound of blush on her cheeks, while the next week she will not use anything. She also believes in tangerine colors for lip gloss and rainbows of nail polish, and other bright looks that aren’t really average. She has never colored her hair, however- it remains the fairly plain brown.

Ari needs corrective lenses, that most of the time takes the form of contacts. She has a wide variety of glasses, however, to match certain outfits. She does not hate her glasses, but finds she gets a headache when she wears them.

Personality: Ari is an extremely stubborn human being, who believes failure is not even existent for her. Whatever she decides to do, she will never stop to rest until she has succeeded. However, she rarely exercises logic and common sense. Most of the time, she dives into things she has not thought through at all, and has to learn as she goes. She is quite good at thinking fast in a pinch, thankfully, and always lands on her feet.

Ari is very blunt. If something bothers her, she will often say it in a superior tone. But, Ari can be kind as well. When she sees someone flustered, she will make it her mission to help him or her. People have never meant a lot to Ari in the long run- she will usually be focused on her life goal than socialization, but her kindness and ability to solve almost every issue has lead her to have quite a few admirers. Not much effort has been used to strengthen these bonds, as she is too caught up in things she deems more important.

Ari is not a very organized person, but believes in order. She is not naturally smart, and often becomes overwhelmed when things go wrong or when something changes. Despite her curious nature, she will most of the time realize she continually gravitates to the same foods and colors, when she does not make a conscious thought of what she is doing. This bothers her to no ends, as her greatest fear is becoming plain and a blob of nothingness.

History:
She was not born the brightest crayon in the box, but she has risen to the challenge. She was born with an older sister, who always seemed to have a natural knack for almost everything, but wasted her gifts by falling into that notorious “wrong crowd.” As a five year old, Ari has a very vibrant memory of her parents having to go to the police station to pick up her thirteen year old sister. By age 16, her sister had dropped out of school and had seemingly disappeared, going off with a boy to Las Vegas. Swearing to not make the mistakes of her sister, ari began studying for tests instead of hanging out with friends. Soon, her old C’s were replaced with straight A’s, and she began taking the most difficult classes as possible.

Recently, Ari has received an email from her sister telling her that, pregnant, and bankrupt, and abandoned. The email told her that her sister was supposedly in Hawaii. When a mysterious plane ticket seems to arrive almost on cue, Ari finds herself set on the idea that she must go to Hawaii to help her sister.

Weapon: Ari has the ability to set her mind to something, and not give up. She would fight to the death in almost all situations, and has a strong mind that will never be broken. Later, she will get a gun- like contraption that fires out balls of energy, originally bullets specially fused with her magic. She does not require to aim, as the bullets will go where she wants to go, and will do the amount of damage she wishes. This, of course, will require a lot of practicing as well as trial and error.

3. Avec Plaisir

Username: Avec Plaisir.
Name of Character: Haine Dégout.
Age: 29.
Possessed Force: Hate.
Appearance: Hate is a very skinny man. He looks as if he were fifteen or sixteen years old, despite almost being in his thirties. He has white hair that has been dyed various colours. His eyes, though they are seemingly always shadowed, are a dark grey. He wears a loose, black shirt-type item that goes past his pelvis and halfway to his knees. The shoulders of it are cut, but the sleeves are almost an extra foot long. He wears several black belts that aren't in their proper place. He wears past-knee, black boots. The right one occasionally falls down. It seems that he has dyed his skin various colours to appear more "friendly". On other parts of his body, it appears that they have been sewn back on. He carries a cage at all time, and often will speak to the bird within. (Pretend there is a male Greater Bird of Paradise in the cage instead of a jack-o-lantern.)
Personality: Haine is, what some people say, an "instigator". He has no faith left in humanity and wishes that everyone would just hate each other. He is very into violent things and blood. He parades around and starts rumours of things that never happened. He delights himself in seeing others fight and argue - and that is his goal in the world. Hate is what he wants, and he will do anything to get it. Haine will also go around and tell people something that another never said. And back and forth, back and forth, until they hate each other. Or fight.

He is also a masochist - often cutting himself open and then resewing the wound back messily. He never takes the stitches out, as if for show. He is very self-hating. He does not care for his own body and will frequently throw himself into a line of danger without thinking of the consequences. He enjoys fighting himself.
History: Born in France to an odd name, most stayed away from the child. He was always hurting things that he didn't like, including himself. He once threw himself out of his school window, two stories up. Crashing to the ground, laughing all the way, he was hospitalised for a few weeks. After he was out, his parents blamed it on the area, and they moved to Canada. Haine was around twelve.

He killed his parents, but made it look like they killed each other. He was never convicted, and only his bird knows about it. The bird showed up exactly a month after his parents had died. It was injured, and for once, Haine took pity and cured it. It has stuck with him ever since. He calls it Oiseau.

Haine has never been able to sustain a relationship. His girlfriends are always either sick of his self-loathing or end up hating him. He has gone through several relationships before realising that he hates humanity and does not want to be in one.

Living at home, he immediately accepted Fate's offer, thinking it would be fun and bloody.
Weapon: See that bird in the cage? That's his weapon. When he says "hate" three times in a row, the bird turns into this one. It's six times the bird's original size. The phoenix has the power to ignite itself on fire. Haine controls the bird on a very, very thin, transluscent string when in this form, almost like a kite.

4. Axel

Username: Axel

Name of Character: Nick Fletcher

Age: 19

Possessed Force: Beauty

Appearance: Nick never once thought that he was beautiful before all of this happened. He’s kind of lanky, standing at 6’3” and the tallest of his family by a long shot. He’s not exactly buff either, in fact Nick is rather scrawny for his age – but don’t let that fool you because he’s strong all the same.

His hair is golden blonde and refuses to stay entirely straight no matter how many times he runs his sister’s GHD through it. It flicks out at the ends and raises into little curls. Before, it was usually greasy and tied back from his face – now it’s never anything but silky, and he lets it hang down over his face. His eyes used to be murky grey, but now they twinkle in the light as the purest of silver. His face is rather thin and he has quite high cheekbones. Despite his size, Nick’s hands are small and delicate – the hands of an artist.

Forget fancy shirts, suits or ties. Nick always wears T-Shirts. Preferably ones with logos or smart quips embellished on them. He doesn’t like them tight either, they have to be at least two sizes too big for him. His jeans can be tight as anything though, and usually come in a variety of bright colours. He is fond of wearing black combat pants. As long as it fits him at the waist, Nick will wear it (yes, that includes skirts), he hates belts of any kind. Footwear, if he must wear it, usually consists of a pair of Converse hi-tops, or slip-on Vans, and they have to match the colour of the design on his shirt, so he’s got an extensive collection of sneakers to choose from.

Nick is obsessed with jewellery and piercings to a lesser extent. He has no fewer than eight piercings spanned across both his ears – two rings in each lobe, scaffolding in his left ear and two blue diamond studs in his right ear cartilage. He did have his nose pierced but he let that heal – his left eyebrow piercing is intact however. He’s considering getting something below his neck pierced, but that’s still in the deciding stages.
Around his neck, Nick wears a string of cat’s eye beads, and he only ever takes them off when he’s in the shower. Same with the small gold and silver crucifix he wears under his shirts – it only ever comes off in the shower. The dog-tag he wears on a thin silver chain, well he’s a bit more lenient with that and takes it off when he’s sleeping or swimming. Around his wrists Nick wears an array of different bracelets – charm bracelets, plastic bands in every colour imaginable, goth choker bracelets… you name it and it’s probably been on Nick’s wrists at some stage.

Personality: It’s hard not to like Nick. He’s an eternal optimist, always in a good mood on the outside at least. You can tell when something’s bothering him quite easily; he’ll twist a strand of hair around his finger and shuffle his feet awkwardly, but he’ll do his best to hide it behind his award-winning smile.

He’ll laugh at every joke you tell, no matter how cheesy, as long as he gets it of course. But Nick doesn’t really miss a trick, though he does act rather clueless a lot of the time. He’s actually a very clever guy and a hard worker when it comes to something he puts his mind to. His cheerful personality and driving sense of determination are the glues that hold his family together most days.

Unfortunately, Nick does have his angry side. Set off his temper and you’re in for a rocky ride, because Nick’s tongue is sharp as a razor and he won’t be afraid to lash out with nasty words if you piss him off. Thankfully there’s only a few things that can really set him off – Nick’s the kind of guy who would smile as it started raining on a summer’s day.

He’s never pictured without his trusty steel guitar, Meedy. Nick’s been musically talented from a very young age, and the guitar was a gift from his late father so he has a habit of bringing it everywhere. The number of songs he knows how to play is seemingly endless, and he’s almost flawless when he starts to play. His favourite tunes are the sunny indie ones, to match his personality.

History: Nick is the oldest son of a family with five children. The family lives in a middle class housing estate in North Dublin City, just shy of the town of Portmarnock, and is a ten-minute walk from the beach. Nick has three younger brothers and a (younger) twin sister.

Growing up, Nick wasn’t exactly the most popular kid at school – he sort of just faded into the background until he got to secondary school and the girls began to notice him a little more. Nick always politely declined their requests for a date, but gave them his number anyway so that they could be friends. As a result, he became very popular with crowds from all over the school, and his musical talents were often hired for birthday parties and “free gaffs”.

He was made man of the house at sixteen, when his father died of cancer, and he did his best to help his mother look after his younger brothers and sister. The failing economy meant that jobs were hard to come by, and Nick couldn’t find one no matter how hard he looked. He took to busking at the top of Grafton Street, and at first the money came in slowly but steadily due to his talents. One day, all of a sudden, while belting out Train’s Hey, Soul Sister, he noticed that he was drawing a huge crowd – so big that it was almost blocking the whole street. He made almost five hundred euros from that, and since that day the crowd has only been getting bigger. Though Nick has his doubts that they’re there for his music – he’s had several girls from the crowd and even the occasional guy ask him out.

One day, about a year after he graduated from secondary school, Nick received a letter in the post. This was unusual – Nick rarely got letters, and there was no return address on this one. Inside there was an aeroplane ticket for a flight to Hawaii, and a rather short note: “Be on the plane, to change the world’s fate.”
Nick is currently debating the authenticity of this letter, ticket, and note – should he accept the ticket and fly to Hawaii “to change the world’s fate” when his busking business is only starting to pick up?

Weapon: Nick is a pacifist, but he’s occasionally had to beat off the odd homeless person trying to steal his busking money. He uses his trusty guitar Meedy to do this, and since Nick carries it with him everywhere, it will be his weapon, used akin to a sledgehammer. Nick doesn’t know it yet, but his new powers have a touch of magic – when certain songs are played on Meedy, he can use certain types of elemental magic, harnessing the beauty of nature.

Username: Axel

Name of Character: Finn

Age: 20

Possessed Force: Freedom

Appearance: Finn is 6’ on the dot, with broad shoulders and a toned body – he likes to look after himself but he’s not really a health freak. He’s pretty strong from all of his outdoor exploring, and he’s got his fair share of scars from all of his adventures.

His hair is a soft wavy brown, and it hangs to just below his jawline – he likes to keep it clean despite the amount of time he spends outdoors. His eyes are a cloudy green and appear to change colour depending on the kind of light that hits them. Apart from his scars, there are no marks on Finn’s body – no freckles, birthmarks, or even tattoos.

Clothes have never really been important to Finn because he’s always on the road – he wears a staple white shirt and faded blue jeans, and he’s got spares in the trunk of his car. His footwear of choice: sturdy hiking boots, usually with steel caps, so he has no problem climbing when the need for it arises.

Finn’s not the kind of guy to wear jewellery, but he does have a twine bracelet that he wears around his right wrist. A very good friend of his gave it to him just before she died, and he never takes it off as a tribute to her.

Personality: Finn is a very free spirit; he does what he wants and rarely if ever lets the decisions of others hold him back. He’s nice enough, but he does prefer to keep himself to himself and doesn’t share his personal information with others – what little he has, anyway. Finn doesn’t even know if he has a surname and has never seen a need for one.

When he does allow someone into his life, Finn would do anything to protect them. He’s extremely loyal to those who deserve his loyalty. If Finn doesn’t like someone, he won’t hesitate to make them aware of it – he has a sharp tongue and can be very sarcastic. Finn doesn’t like using people’s real names, instead opting to give them nicknames or use their existing nicknames. And of course if he doesn’t like the person, the nickname he gives them won’t be too flattering.

Though he never went to school, Finn is very clever and knows a lot of things that others don’t, due to his time on the road as a “mystery seeker”. He has a dry sense of humour that can be hard to understand sometimes, and this tends to isolate him from people. Which is generally just fine with Finn.

History: For as long as he can remember, Finn has been a drifter. He has vague memories of being left in an orphanage in Kansas for the first few tender years of his life, but he knows that he didn’t spend all that long there. He has no biological family as far as he knows, but there are people all over the 50 states that he considers his family. They give him food and shelter when he comes looking for it, and in return he pays them with “information”.

Finn is a mystery seeker – someone who travels about in search of the truth. He’s been interested in mysteries since childhood and has discovered many of the secrets of the world… though not always lawfully. He’s never had a problem getting away from the authorities, however – Finn seems to be a master escapist as of late, though he’s not quite sure how this has happened.

As a way of communication, Finn has a post office box in his name somewhere in Kansas, near the orphanage he thinks. He checks up on it by means of cell phone on a regular basis, and one day he was informed that a strange letter had arrived in it for him. With nothing better to do, he returned to Kansas and opened the letter, finding a plane ticket to Hawaii and a short note inside it. The note intrigued him, so he made his way to the airport and took the flight to Hawaii.

Weapon: Finn’s got a whole arsenal of weapons stashed in the back of his car, but his favourite by far is a long, thin silver dagger with a heavy iron hilt. There are several precious gemstones set into the hilt and it is easy enough to manoeuvre, so Finn carries it everywhere with him, just in case.

5. Mtn Otter

Name of Character:Layne “Eyeball” Julius Hyuet
Age:17
Possessed Force:Knowledge

Appearance:Lanye is about average height for his age, standing about 6'2''. He is slightly thin, weighing in at 190 Lbs. His black hair is cut short. He wears glasses over his green eyes. His normal clothes consist of jeans, a white t-shirt, and brown shoes.

Personality: Layne is very intelligent, having an estimated IQ of about 180. He is skilled in the sciences, but it is very obvious to anyone who looks at his transcript that his true calling is in languages. At seventeen, he is already fluent in English, Japanese, and Spanish, and can be considered competent in Latin, French, and German. He seems to know almost everything that is told to him already, and on the rare occasion that he doesn't he learns it very quickly.

In his mind, information is power. Therefore, he is secretive, and when asked a question tends to give vague answers, if he does at all.

History: Layne was born along with his twin sister(Second character. Not finished yet.) seventeen years ago in San Francisco. They grew up close, though they now have rather different interests. When he was in third grade, he started taking Spanish classes. Mastering the language rather quickly, he moved on to Japanese in sixth grade. He is currently taking Latin, French, and German for his electives.

He earned his nickname “The Eye” about two years ago for his strange tendency to know about nearly everything that happens in school, even when it was established that he was on the opposite side of the building. Although they do not realize it, this is because he is using his power over Knowledge, using it to inform him instantly about anything that becomes relevant.

Weapon: He uses no weapon, preferring to talk his way out of situations. However, he could probably discover a weakness in his opponent's fighting style and adapt to that.

The main use for his power comes in the form of something he calls “The Telling”. This is a voice(or possibly a collection of voices, he isn't very clear on the point when he talks about it) that can give him any information that he requests. It is often vague, and seems to be incomprehensible on the rare occasion he repeats it's exact wording. It also cannot answer questions that are conditional(“what's the meaning of life?”), about uncertain future events(“will the Resistance defeat the Army of Fate?”), or about something that isn't physical(“what is that person thinking?”).

Name of Character:Lori Hyuet
Age:17
Possessed Force:Truth

Appearance:Lori is tall for a girl her age, at about 5'9”. Her natural hair color is black, but she dyes it a new strange color every month. It is currently spring green. She wears it loose to about the bottom of her shoulder blades. Her eyes are green, but she wears contacts, normally that change their color. This changes every couple of months. They currently make her eyes a deep violet

Her normal clothes are white shoes, either denim or khaki pants, and a t-shirt of varying colors. She also normally wears a thin black jacket.

Personality: Lori is dependable, at least as far as her word goes. She hates lying, and people who lie to get what they want. Crowds make her uncomfortable, though she can normally tolerate them. She is of slightly higher than average intelligence, and is very knowledgeable about computers, especially programming. She programs in C++, Visual Basic, and PHP.

She is also horrible at cooking, and is usually unable to cook anything without burning something.

History: She was born seventeen years ago, along with her twin brother(See first character). They have remained close throughout life, though now they have followed different pursuits. She seemed rather ordinary until eighth grade when she signed up for art, and by some fluke of the system, was put in programming instead.

She did not realize this until school had started, and by then she was not allowed to change courses. To everyone's surprise, she not only passed, but the teacher recommended that she become certified in Visual Basic.

She has only recently noticed her Changes, and even then they are subtle.

Weapon: She is a pacifist, and refuses to fight except in self-defense.

Currently, her powers only allow her to detect when others are lying. Later on, she will also be able to tell what the truth is, and why they are lying. After that, she will be able to see through any deception of any type. When they fully develop, she will gain immense power over someone when they lie, including “reading” their entire memory bank, forcing them to tell the truth to others, and “wiping” their memories, effectively leaving their minds a blank slate. With practice, she will gain more control over this last, being able to choose certain memories to remove. She will retain the drawback of only gaining these powers over an individual when they tell a lie in her presence.

However, this means that she herself is unable to lie at all, even in the slightest.

First of all, Hedwig is pretty tall. Standing 6'6 allows her to easily tower over most people her age. To top it off, she's big boned, with long limbs and broad shoulders for a girl, but still with a clearly defined hourglass-shaped figure. Hedwig loves physical exercise and is actual very powerful with clearly defined muscles, but thanks to her baggy clothing only the neck muscles shows and because of her big build, most people actually tend to think she's simply over-weight.

As for clothing... well, Hedwig's been on the move for about a year now. She only owns three complete sets of clothing for practical reasons, and none of them are quite the color they used to be. Currently, she's wearing an old one-size-fits-all black Ensiferum band t-shirt with the print faded to the point where it's almost unrecognizable, and a pair of baggy, faded bright blue jeans ripped off at the knees to make a pair of shorts. She's wearing sneakers and an old Adidas zipped hoodie that was bright red at some point, now a faded wine red color. She also wears a black military-style cap which is the only piece of clothing that still looks like it's new and she is incredibly fond of it, and a silver rune necklace, as a good luck charm.

Hedwigs hair is dark brown and a little past shoulder length. It's thick and wavy, but not curly, side parted and combed to her right. She doesn't give it a lot of attention, but thankfully it's the kind of hair that doesn't make a mess. She usually keeps it loose, but will occasionally tie it up in a high ponytail.
Her face is rounded but still with sharp and clearly defined features, unscratched with the exception of some old acne scars that doesn't want to go away. Her eyes are sharp and a sky blue in colour, hidden beneath a pair of square-shaped glasses. She isn't helpless without her glasses, but it would be difficult for her to tell different faces apart. She's near sighted.

Now, backpack. Hedwig carries it around all the time since she's incredibly possessive of it, and she gets anxious and easily irritated when she don't know where it is. It's a huge red camping-style thing, with a few pins and patches attached to it at random places. It contains: A blanket. Spare clothes. A flashlight. Passport. MP3 stuffed with as much music as the memory card will allow. A towel. A travelers guide to Hawaii, aaaand... an old hamburger at the bottom. It's been there for weeks. Hedwig hasn't notices it yet.

Personality:
Hedwig is a quiet girl, not the kind of person to start conversations. She is perfectly content in keeping to herself, but she is actually a very positive girl and not difficult to get along with as long as you don't talk too much, or ask too many questions. She might be reserved at first, but she quickly comes out of her shell. You'll only get one chance though. If she decides she doesn't like you, it's difficult to make her change her mind. People like that are treated with silence, as she usually don't have anything to say to them.
Hedwig loves physical exercise and can spend a good amount of the day on it if she finds the time. Somewhat of a daredevil, thanks to her luck she has gotten away with the craziest things before and she is in no mood to stop. She is not stupid enough to challenge fate(no, no pun intended) but she likes to test her 'lucky streak'. Her gut feeling has yet to let her down, and it's almost like she's challenging it. She strongly dislikes to talk about her luck, however, and will get uncomfortable if the subject is brought up.
Hedwig has money to spend, and she's not afraid to do so. If her luck is a permanent thing, she's got enough to live the rest of her live in ridiculous luxury. The thought doesn't appeal to her much, she has always kept it simple and plans to keep it that way. As a backpacker, she doesn't have the room to go on shopping sprees anyways - but that doesn't mean she doesn't spend a lot of money.
When it comes to fighting, she will try to avoid it to some extent. She is somewhat of a pacifist, but isn't afraid to slap someone when she think they need it. I should probably add that getting slapped by Hedwig. Hurts. A lot.

Hedwig talks English fluently, but will occasional curse/mutter to herself in Swedish.

History:
Born and raised in a quiet Swedish suburb, Hedwigs life was always dull, boring and incredibly normal. Her family had enough money to get by, but weren't rich. No pets. No major events. She is a middle child, and because everything her younger brother said was funny, and everything her older sister said was important, leading to her getting lost somewhere in between. She didn't mind it much, though. She got used to it at a young age and as she grew up it never bothered her. She was perfectly content with keeping to herself, her videogames and her very limited selection of friends. Because she was never very good at school, once she was finished with her obligatory education, she did very little besides randomly lurking around the house. She didn't have the grades to get a proper job or further education, and when her friends continued with school she did nothing. And she was perfectly content with that. Her mother, on the other hand? No. Not so much. So for her sixteenth birthday, Hedwig got a backpack, five hundred bucks as a traveling fund, and a one-way ticket to Ireland.

Not allowed to come home until she did something with her life, Hedwig wasn't all that happy with being kicked out of the house - she ran out of money within a week and a half. This is where her luck started to show its face. She was almost completely broke when she just happened to walk by a horse derby one day. Stopped by a sudden, overwhelming gut feeling, she suddenly got the urge to go inside. She thought 'what the heck' and placed all her money on a random horse. She walked away with enough money to stay the month at a decent hotel.

This was repeated until she was permanently banned from every gambling service in the area. She didn't just get enough money out of it to live an expensive life for years - she learned the importance of trusting her gut feeling. So she started to travel Europe based on it - low-budget class, despite her new founds, because she thought it was more fun that way. But her luck didn't stop at gambling. Eventually, the 'gut feeling' started to take her to things like free events, bands she liked, accidentally discarded lottery tickets with a winning number, hotels and even people she had met earlier on her trip. But after a while, her luck almost started to drive her nuts. She played it too safe. Her travels gave her a crack for adventure, but she had everything she could possibly need and more. Except for a good challenge. She could travel where ever she wanted, do what ever she wanted... and she would always get away too easily. So when she received a mysterious letter and a ticket to Hawaii, she accepted because A) She had never been to Hawaii and B) She decided it was time to try and defy that gut feeling for once... just to see where it would take her...

Weapon: Miniature gun. It may not be the most powerful weapon ever, but it actually packs quite a punch. She keeps it Hedwig dislike to use it though, using it only when out of other options. If she can, she will use her fists in a fight. She lacks actual fighting experience, but has more than enough physical strength. If she punches you in the face, it will hurt.

7. Darkrow

Username: Darkrow

Name of Character: Norma Nash

Age: 25

Possessed Force: Justice

Appearance: Norma is a tall, strong woman, standing at 6'7". Her hair is white with black locks and she has blue eyes. She wears a prisoner's outfit, the stereotypical black and white striped ones, complete with broken handcuffs around her wrists and chains around her ankles. She also has a steel choker around her neck. She doesn't seem to wear pants, only panties under her outfit, which is a bit too big.

Personality: Very strict, Norma believes that anyone who ever breaks the law needs to be punished adequately. She will do anything to punish someone bad and is not someone who will give up easily. She rarely shows any emotions and will punish anyone, whether they be friend or foe. Therefore, it's best to stay on her good side. She will help her friends in need though.

Usually silent, she's more of the strong and silent type. People, no matter their allegiance, tend to find her quite intimidating, which is understandable considering her height. However, despite her apparent lack of emotion and her habit to be silent, she is always nice to her allies, although she never loses her focus. She never gets distracted by mere distractions either.

Breaking established rules or laws, however, annoys her greatly and she isn't afraid to berate someone for doing that. Depending on how bad the act was, she may even physically hurt the one who did it, no matter who it is. This could be an allusion as to how Lady Justice is blind, since she will punish everyone the same way, completely disregarding their relationship. She also has no pity.

She isn't a big fan of fighting, but if she needs to, she can defend herself easily. She's quite strong and since she's tall, fighting smaller opponents tends to be fairly easy for her. However, she never kills, she only knocks people out or puts them into submission holds. The latter is useful for interrogation too. The only way she'd need to fight is for self-defense.

History: Born in a family of criminals, Norma was of no exception to the rule. At a young age, she was already stealing from people. She only got caught at the age of 19 and learned how stealing and such was bad since, considering her family, she was taught that it was good to do so. She stayed in jail for four years before getting released for good behavior. Her sense of justice having developped during her time in jail, she actually put her whole family to jail.

Name of Character: Naya Albanese

Age: 8

Possessed Force: Hope

Appearance: Naya is a sweet little girl with blonde hair that reaches her mid-back and green eyes. She's barely 4 feet tall too. She wears a dirty old robe that is now pale brown thanks to dirt since they are her only clothes. She only wears sandals as footwear.

Personality: A girl that never gives up hope, Naya always looks on the bright side of life even though her life would bring many to be depressed. Hope is what motivates her to keep living, so it can be argued that it's a powerful Force by itself, to keep this young, sweet girl alive and cheerful.

She is a very nice, polite girl too. She has went through tougher stuff than most of the "normal" people, so she is fairly tough and isn't afraid of trouble, even though she is small, weak and frail from lack of food. She has all the innocence of a child and isn't really bright though. She may mispronounce words by switching letters around. For example, "Philadelphia" would be said "Philapheldia".

Despite how "tough" she is, she does have a soft heart. Even though she has low knowledge in lifesaving (and anything else, really), she will do what she can to help someone who got injured. She also has a soft spot for animals and can't stand to see one in pain. When sad, she'll usually cry into someone she knows. If no one she knows is present, she'll simply cry.

Since she's young, there are more complicated things that she probably won't understand. Therefore, she might ask a lot of questions since it's in a child's nature to be curious. More complicated plans might need to be reexplained to her in simpler terms, terms that she can understand.

History: Naya didn't have an easy life. Her parents died when she was six when a pyromaniac decided to burn down her house during the night. Sadly, she was the only survivor, miraculously unscathed. Her father, her mother and her pets all died that night. Since they hadn't done their testament, she was left with literally nothing except her current clothes.

Therefore, she had to resort to living in the streets, settling in a cardboard box that could barely contain her small body. There was a slingshot inside but, instead of selling it, she kept it. With it, she could defend herself from mean people. She lived in that box for two years, where she begged for money so she could buy food. Rain was the only thing she drank, so she liked rain.

Why did she stay in the streets and didn't just kill herself, you might ask? Simple, hope. Hope that someone would take pity of her and take her home with them to adopt her. This is what kept her will to live alive and well.

Weapon: Slingshot.

8. Minus Nine

Username: Minus Nine
Name of Character: Misundelse Gron
Age: 19
Possessed Force: Envy
Appearance: Misundelse has long, very long crimson hair. The hair goes down to her knees, and she's 6'2" (187.96cm) tall. The red turns into green about halfway down. She usually keeps her hair loose, but sometimes it's tied up into a ponytail. Unlike most people with red hair, Misundelse has brown eyes. Those eyes are usually filled with hate towards the people who she thinks have better lives or looks. She's tall, slender, and pale, just like what nobility would look like. She's also physically weak, but her mental strength is high. She doesn't realize that she's actually looks a lot better than most and so she's often jealous of the people she thinks look better than her.

Misundelse is actually quite rich, and so she spends all her money on clothes, make-up, anything that would make her look better. The clothes she wears are flashy and prominent. It's hard not to notice her in the neon green dresses or huge feather hats.

Personality: It's amazing how jealous Misundelse can get even with all of her wealth and beauty. She doesn't realize that she shouldn't be the one to be jealous of others, since most of the time the envious ones are the people she's jealous of. She's normally quite nice and caring, but immediately turns cruel and wicked when she becomes jealous of someone. She gets jealous quite easily, too. It could just be something like a penny someone found on the street, and Misundelse would get extremely envious of that person's luck. Most of her friends betrayed her because of this fault of hers.

History: Misundelse was born into a rich family. She was kept unaware of the family's financial situations, and was encouraged to spend her money on anything she wanted. Because of this, Misundelse is quite spoiled and usually gets whatever she wants through the use of money. As a child, she had no friends. She was kept in the house all day. She was home-schooled by hired tutors. This made her extremely weak in physical aspects because she lacked exercise and exposure to the sun. Despite this, she's able to maintain her figure.

Misundelse was first exposed to the outside world at the age of 7. Her parents had disappeared, and it was assumed that they either committed suicide or ran away somewhere. Misundelse was given all of her parents' money. Her tutors brought her to a public school, where she was to learn.

Because she was already tutored by her home tutors, school was almost useless to Misundelse. She aced every test, and she never studied. She was soon surrounded by both friends and foes. Most of her so-called friends only pretended to be her friend so that they could take advantage of her money. Misundelse never got close with anyone, however, and soon she was no longer surrounded by friends but enemies.

It is unknown how she became the jealous person she is, but it most probably started when she was in high school. At the high school she went to, no one knew her from before. Because of her appearance as well as her ability to pass tests without studying, she was surrounded once again by people. This time, they were mostly males.

The people around her started to date others, but Misundelse never cared. She didn't feel anything for anyone. A lot of boys asked her out, but she refused every single one. She soon became known as stuck-up and arrogant because she acted like the males weren't worth her time. She was bullied by jealous girls and reject boys. No one helped her in fear of becoming bullied themselves. Misundelse usually went home drenched in dirty water or covered in bruises.

She didn't care, however. She was already used to the bullying. One day, however, someone saved her. Misundelse thought that he was just wasting his time, since the next day she was bullied again. Each day she was saved by that same person. Misundelse gradually became attracted to him. When she confessed, the person said that he already had a girlfriend.

Misundelse was crestfallen. She became immensely envious of that person's girlfriend. She confronted his girlfriend and told her that if she couldn't have him, then no one else could. The girl ignored her and continued to date the one Misundelse liked. On Christmas, she followed the couple and ended up stabbing both with a 6-inch switchblade. She got out of trouble with her money. She had bribed the judge, and she was found innocent.

What happened after that is unknown, but she started to become extremely jealous of people shortly after. When she found a stray kitten that was being fed by a store owner, she became jealous of the kitten because the kitten had received some kindness. The kitten was found strangled to death a few days later.

Misundlese somehow stayed out of trouble throughout her nineteen years of life. One day she was given a letter that said for her to board a plane. She had nothing else to do, so she decided to go.


Weapon: She carries a poisoned six inch switchblade around with her at all times. Misundelse usually avoids conflict, however, and only kills when there's a 100% chance of success as well as escape.

9. HaruMakenki

Username: HaruMakenki
Name of Character: Cavan “Cave” Bowman
Age: 16
Possessed Force: Loneliness

Cavan is 5’ 7 and quite skinny. He usually wears bluish black clothes with a black belt crookedly around his shirt, as well as one at his waist. He will sometimes wear a black bracelet around his left wrist with golden symbols on it. His face will often look as if he has no emotion at all. His eyes are dull and full of loneliness. He doesn’t look that strong or imposing but looks can be deceiving.

Personality: Cavan keeps completely to himself at all times. He has never once spoken his mind to anyone but himself. He keeps every emotion he’s ever felt bottled up inside since he feels like he can’t trust anyone. He’s afraid of being judged by what he says and is often misjudged by others. He hates when people ask him if he’s okay or any other question in general. He dislikes talking and will do everything that needs to be done by himself without ever talking. Sometimes he wishes he wasn’t so alone, but most of the time he doesn’t really care. His bottled up emotions can sometimes cause him to lose his temper quickly and when angered it takes him awhile to settle down. He has trouble interacting with others and has never once trusted a single soul.

History: Cavan’s parents abandoned him in an orphanage when he was just a baby. He always felt different from everyone else there and kept to himself. He always felt alone knowing his parents had just left him and never felt like he was apart of anything. He constantly felt like he was separated from the rest of the world. Nobody was ever able to get him to talk to them about anything. He would always remain silent and some people thought he was too dumb to know how to speak. His first words to others were spoken when he was 11 they were, “I’ll kill you if you don’t shut up.” They were spoken to the owner of the orphanage who’d been talking to the school counselor about how he thought Cavan was retarded. When they realized he could speak they were afraid of how empty he seemed, so they sent him to a boarding school for boys with no homes. He never made friends, never talked to anybody, and never vented his emotions. The kids there often referred to him as Cave because that’s what he was, a dark, empty, lonely cave. One day from emotional build up he beat up 3 kids so badly they were hospitalized for 5 months. He was put immediately in an isolation room. He was isolated for an entire year, but he still had to receive his learning. He hated everyone who’d helped put him in that position. If his parents had kept him it wouldn’t have happened or if the orphanage kept him. But he knew nobody wanted him. When he learned about why he was so lonely, it didn’t really surprise him. He went off without a word of objection.

Weapon: Cavan prefers a long slim sword with the words “Lone Wolf” carved into the blade. The handle is a bluish black and the blade is mysterious white color. The carved words are gold. He likes using his sword to get the job done, but is perfectly capable of using just his bare hands or materials around him.

He has an innocent and caring look to his face. His eyes are full of caring and can immediately tell you how much he loves life. He usually is found with headphones on, since he loves music.

Personality: Kenneth is a very loving and caring person. He loves basically every thing in the world. He’ll find a way to care about everything, and he can’t stand people who hate any kind of creature because of its looks or color. He also can’t stand people who hate all life in general. He’s also very musical and likes to sing about things on his mind. He’s also very determined and will focus on the thing most important to him at the time.

History: Kenneth grew up with his father and grandmother. His mother had died after his birth. He got along with just about everybody in his town. He always loved taking care of things and when he was 6 he found a bird egg that had fallen from its nest. He hatched the egg and raised the bird. The bird is a blue jay and now stays with Kenneth as his pet. After awhile people started to call him Kenny instead, since Kenneth was kind of long. He always had many friends and was well liked by everyone in school. Kenny likes to sing and play the guitar in his spare time and won the school’s talent show a few times. He’s always been a musical person and always sang wherever he went. He had a girlfriend, but too many other girls fell in love with him, and his girlfriend couldn’t stand it. He never dated since then. Eventually it got out of hand so he was sent to an all boys school. However, half of the guys there started falling in love with him too, which crept him out, so his parents had to home school him. The number of people falling in love with him keeps increasing, and it scares him. Lately, he can’t even walk outside the house.

Weapon: His favorite weapon is a good old stick. It’s carved from the strongest type of wood. It was given to him as a gift when he was 9. He can also use spears, he made one once when camping.

Name of Character: Sam "Sandy" Orton

Sam stands an 5'10'', and is broad shouldered with fair skin and mid-length blonde hair. He has some muscle, but has built it up for speed and endurance, rather than strength. he has a tribal-style tattoo on his chest, and a smaller one around his arm. He wears a large bead neclace, and an open white shirt with the sleeves rolled up. He wears a bandanna on his head and long leather gloves on his arms, with a short bow and quiver over his shoulder (Substitute the satchel for a quiver full of arrows and bow. He he has a leather belt around his waist, with space for 5 throwing knives on the side (imagine knife holsters on the belt). He wears blue jeans, and mid length leather boots over the top. Each boot holds an extra knife on an indside pocket.

Personality: Sam is a very lazy person, who is constantly falling asleep. He naturally ignores work and responsibility, making him sometimes seem selfish and uncooperative to others. However he is a very funny person and very easy to get on with, and is a fiercely loyal friend. He is also very laid back, and acts as a peacemaker in arguments. He has a tendency to fall asleep mid-sentence, before jeking himself away, which causes him to forget what he was saying. This causes him to repeat himself often, to the annoyance of others. He is very enthusiastic about his interests, but never has the energy. He is a keen surfer, and also enjoys computer games

History: Due to his blonde hair, plus being often visited by the Sandman, Sam was nicknamed "Sandy" by his freinds. He had a lot of freinds, and was very popular at school. However, his grades were poor, due to him constantly falling asleep in lessons. After dropping out at 16, Sam flitted between various jobs, but was always quickly fired for sleeping too much. One day he was approached by Fate, and asked to join his army. Fate stated that because he embodied a sin, He had no choice but to join. However Sam was a good person, and refused to join outright, not wanting to commit evil. Fate attakced him, and he was in hospital or a week. On returning home, he found an envelope on his bedside table. Inside was a plane ticket and a letter explaining his purpose. Sam eagerly and quickly packed up without a word, and left for the airport. He knew this was his chance to prove Fate wrong, and convince himself he could do good. He isn't entirely trusted by the team, but is eager to prove himself, and win their trust and respect. He acts as Reconnaissance for the team, quickly scouting out ahead of them, before reporting back. He is also skilled with ranged weapons.

Weapon: Throwing Knives, Bow and Arrows, Sniper Rifle (he gets the rifle later in the story)

Hmm... will they legitimately have trouble deciding which side is right for them, or as a spy? Either way, it sounds kind of interesting.

Thank you. Is it possible to have those in the Gray Area serve as rogues, on neither side of the fight? As in they would do what suits them, and not follow one side or the other religiously. Just curious.

Oh and I apologise if my English is a bit too... stuffy. I haven't used it very much in the past few months. -___-

I would prefer to have a character who is willing temporarily work for either side(for a price), and doesn't really care about the outcome either way. If that's not okay, I'll think of something else.

Edit:For that matter, can I also reserve Truth? I have a character set in mind that would be perfect for this.

i havent even thought about the rogue thing, but it definitely sounds doable. And the bribing guy sounds fun too. As long as its something a person in a similar situation would do it, have a party. I dont want to want to put you guys in a box, since that.... would suck.
