Maybe yes, because I'd like to go for Latios/Latias.

However, if you think about it, RBY and GSC weren't backwards compatible while RSE is. If they revamped RBY and GSC for convenience and not because they were popular games, that's one thing. Perhaps it's the contrary, though? Then why not, everyone's expecting it, and WHO wouldn't buy it? Geez, unfortunately you have a good point.....you can get a pokemon all the way up from your ruby/sapphire version to black and white version, while the GBC to GBA switch blocked off the original gen 1 and 2 games.....so maybe they wouldn't be in that big of a rush to remake RSE, but still they might....we can only hope! -------------------- |

I'd love a Ruby/Sapphire remake. That game bring back so many memories. The good times when I beat a gym leader, the bad times when I fainted a legend, all of them would return back into the remake. I'd love to have a remake.

In my eyes, Nintendo would be mad to not remake Ruby and Sapphire. Take into account how large the fanbase was on Ruby and Sapphire's release and then add the new fans who possibly haven't played them. They'd make a killing off them.
Plus, considering how good Black and White ended up being, I just want remakes even more. However, I think if they're following a pattern, I don't think we'll see an announcement until early 2013. That's if they follow the pattern. If not, they could announce it this year and do what they did with HeartGold and SoulSilver and follow the originals' release date. -------------------- |

I'd love a sapphire remake. It was the easiest of the games in my opinion, but I loved it, and it's still fun to replay. I would be wary or them changing the music though - well only the ending theme, really. The ending theme to ruby/sapphire is my all time favorite song of any of the games hands down, and I wouldn't want to see it messed up in a remake in order to make it sound "cool and new." They did a great job with heartgold, so judging by that ending theme or not I'd still be very happy to play a remake of this generation.

I would love a remake of the third gen. It seems like we should know soonish if they'll make one.
