Hello!

Welcome to my Trainer Sprite Shop!

I suppose this was bound to happen at some point.
Until now, I've been taking on splicing challenges in my splice thread.
But lately, people have been asking me to sprite their OC, or an existing character from games or anime that they like.
This has been so challenging and fun for me, that it's convinced me to open up a small shop, specifically for this.

If you're interested in requesting a trainer sprite from me, please read these rules before asking for one:

Rule #1:
Please don't rush me.

I have a job that requires a lot of energy and time, and I'll only work on sprites when I'm feeling well-rested.
(Trust me, a sprite made while I'm half asleep is no good.)

Rule #2:
Human-like sprites only.

What I mean by this is - animal-like characters like Sonic, or furries are all great.
But I'm simply not up to it to sprite them. No gijinkas either, please.
'Human-like' means elves and other fantasy races that resemble humans are okay, they don't require as much difficult spriting as the above.

Rule #3:
Only requests made with the form are accepted.

This rule really makes sense.
Please use the form I've added below, so I'll know enough details about your request to make a trainer sprite.
It just makes things more clear to me.
Also, please tell me what your favorite flying Pokémon is, so I can see you've read the rules.

Rule #4:
Please provide as much details as possible.

If you have one or more reference pictures of the character you're requesting, please link them in the form.
If you don't have a reference picture, please give a description that's as detailed as possible.
I'll need to know the eye color, skin tone, hair type, everything.
It's possible that I'll ask some questions about your character after you request, just to clarify things.

Rule #5:
I choose the trainer pose.

I know this sounds harsh, but I promise I'll try to select a pose that suits the character.
There are some poses that really don't work for me.
And choosing the pose is a part of my working process, of getting to know the character I'll be spriting.

Rule #6:
Give me credit for my work.

I guess I'm stating the obvious here, but just to be on the safe side -
When using my sprites, give me credit.

It's possible I'll add more rules later on.

'OC' stands for 'Original Character'.
A character that you thought up, like you did with Max.

There's one thing you need to add to your post before I can accept it, though.
Please look through the rules, you'll find it. ^^

Bahh, you're so good.

I'm a spriter and I take pride in my work, so sometimes I suppose I can be a little... I don't know what to call it, but I don't like admitting to myself when people are better at spriting than me, and when I want a sprite of something, ninety percent of the time I find the need to make it myself.

However, I've been watching your spriters in your splicing thread, including the trainer spriters, and you're so ridiculously good and a lot better than me. So I just wanna come in and say that you're probably the best spriter I've seen on this site, and possibly the best spriter I've seen period. I'm serious.

And I mean that all in a good way, I promise. xD

Since you told me he had grass stains on his pants, I figured he liked playing outside, and that he may have some holes in his pants (maybe from falling or playing in trees). I took the liberty to add those to the pants. If you would like me to remove the holes in his pants, please let me know. ^^

I love it! But could you make him a bit smaller, and remove the holes...

I love the sprite, but he seems around 10,11,12 He will be in the story as a 12 tear old, So I would still use the sprite.

So could you make a smaller one? Maybe the B/W Kindergardener Sprite would work as a base:

I'm glad you like it, and removing the holes is no problem at all.

I can do the trainer pose you're suggesting, but he will not look like 7 years old, more like 5.
Seven year old children are not that tiny. ^^;
I'm glad you'll still use the sprite when Max get older in your story.

Oh mai you opened a shop! Churning out good sprites already. I may have to request some more Ace Attorney sprites in the future but for now I'm still happy with the trio. Your trainer sprites are really cool and makes me want to start practicing those myself for fun. I've only ever done one before and it was a sprite of myself (come to think of it I don't even think I have it anymore...).
