What does everyone think of the new sweets instead of berries thing?
And does anyone know what they are?! As a non-American I have no cluewhat any of them are supposed to be or their significance -------------------- |

first one is a candy corn, second one is (I don't even remember the name of it) one of those delicious swirly candies that they give at restaurantes xp, third one is a sour warhead, I'm apparently very bad at identifying candies lul This post has been edited by Giraffe A Laugh: Oct 26 2011, 11:37 PM -------------------- [align=center]The help page has loads of useful information!

In the fixed berry order: Warhead, Red Hots, Reeses, Candy Corn, and Peppermint.
The candy/berries are a reoccurring event every Halloween since 2009. Edit: added a smiley emoticon so i don't come off as so serious. o.o This post has been edited by Jen: Oct 26 2011, 11:54 PM -------------------- |

This happened last Halloween too, it's nothing more than cosmetic. I can't say anything about the choice of which sweet corresponds to which flavor, except that some (like Red Hots for Spicy) fit and others (like Peppermints for Bitter) make no sense whatsoever.
If you have Opera and use the block images button, you can read their names on the buttons. -------------------- |

first one is a candy corn, second one is (I don't even remember the name of it) one of those delicious swirly candies that they give at restaurantes xp, third one not sure, fourth is licorice bits? and the last one is a reese butter cup Peppermint swirl candy and sour drops. I believe that's what the ones you couldn't name are. And I always thought the spicy candy were cinnamon-flavored jelly beans. Ah, and me being horribly beaten in my answers is what I get for being a slow typer. -------------------- |

I remember these from last Halloween, it's not new or anything. You can tell what they are once you feed it to a Pokemon as well.
Warhead Redhots Reeses Candycorn Peppermint Reeses I know pretty well with just looking at the picture, I've eaten a lot of these in my life. Candycorn is kind of obvious from the picture as well, although I don't remember eating these very often. Redhots and Peppermint I know pretty well but can't tell right away by the picture. Warheads though...I don't think I've ever seen or heard of those, although going off of the wikipedia page of it I think I've eaten something similar to it. Redhots are spicy like you said. Warheads are sour so it fits it's flavor. Candycorn is probably very sweet. Reeses are dry I suppose, they are peanut-butter with chocolate, and peanut-butter is pretty dry. I'm not sure about Peppermint though, it's for sure not sweet or anything like that, from what I remember it had a rather bitter taste, it's been a while since I've had one though but I know it's not sweet or sour, but I've never been really knowledgeable with the bitter taste so I don't know. I'm a peppermint addict; I'm nearly always sucking on one. I wouldn't say they're bitter, but candy by its very nature isn't bitter. But they had to choose something, and it's not like there's a better fit. -------------------- |
