Okay, I'll make this short. I am very tired. Nobody makes good art of a stormbringer (very unfortunately) so I didn't bother. I tried with Nomad, I really did. Made two version, as you can see, pick one (or both). I know you said a banner, but I forgot and made avatars. =/ Most of this is due to fatigue... if there's anything you want/don't like, ask tomorrow please. (I know there was something else, but I've forgotten it...) Thanks for the request.

EDIT2: Oh yeah, it was: how would I know what a stormbringer/nomad was if I weren't your brother? Please bear this in mind next time.

I might try to make the banner, and the stormbringer avatar, now. But I won't guarantee it will materialize... I can, however, guarantee that I will have a go at it!
And well, I might have known what you meant, but if it were anyone else that was requesting from me/that you were requesting from, they'd be unlikely to have a clue! So you should keep that in mind when you request.

Unfortunately, I also discovered that not only are there no good images of Stormbringers, not only are there no suitable images, there are barely any images at all! So that particular request isn't really possible, I am afraid. But thanks for the request!

Anyway, the main reason I'm kicking this thread back up to the top (aside from stopping it falling onto the second page) is because I'm looking to hire a new worker! I'm looking for someone with talents in Pokémon spriting, but anything I'm not already doing would be nice. I'm not permitting you to do anything I'm doing, either, so if all you do is avatars/banners then don't bother (though I'm sure your work is good ). So with that in mind, please post here in this thread with some examples of your work. Please bear in mind I'm only looking for one worker. Now show me your moves!

Okay, a bit of constructive criticism:
1- Transparency. It is essential and not one of your sprites has it. If you're using MS Paint then you should either upgrade to a program that can do transparency - I recommend Paint.NET myself - or upload the images to iaza.com where you can transparentise them. (Of course you must host your images elsewhere in this case, like on your photobucket, as iaza will delete them eventually.)

2 - Your Pokédex thing is cool, but it's a bit messy. The background and numbers should really match those found in the games... you should go to a site like The Spriter's Resource (or I believe Shy Guy Kingdom is another one) to get bases for these. I'm almost certain you'd find them there. (I notice you've said it's your first =) I'm sure it'll get better!)

3 - those shadow pokémon... I'm not sure I like the "shadow". A good example is the Ninetales - you see how the bright yellow is a huge contrast? It should be more light or semi-transparent like the others. Your Jolteon and Infernape are good like that. Somehow the Gallade seems a bit.. I don't know, the shadow is a bit thick. Or something. You know what I mean?

4 - Your chaos could be a smidge more detailed, an extra few pixels here or there. Metagross's head is a bit plain like that. Same thing with the devamps - it doesn't look hugely authentic. You haven't got the shading typical of that age, and it's kind of obvious the sprites are a simple recolour. You should compare a Gen I or II sprite to a Gen IV or V sprite and see the differences in style and such. (And the colours! A bit garish, don't you think?)

Though, I do like your work. Your devamps do have an old-fashioned look to them what with the colours you've used; your splicing shows quite a bit of skill and an eye for what looks right - I must praise your Typhlosion-Houndoom-thing; your chaos are quite cute - I really like the style, some of your best work; and your shadow Pokémon look pretty nice! (could use more varied purples and reds though.)

A bit more practice and we will mould you into a fine spriter yet. You need to put a bit more effort in, try more things, but you're definitely doing good work and I'll be proud to have you as a member of my store. That's right, I accept you as a worker.

I want you to PM me a sample post for putting your work in and I'll work it into my first post. I'll also tell you what I expect from you there (and stuff). Congrats!
